Now, when the service detects a foreign language in a post, it will display a "See Translation" option on the top left of the screen, which users can tap to see a translation at the bottom. The photo-sharing platform said that the new translation feature will be available globally, and currently supports over 90 languages to make sharing content with an international audience easier. The feature, whose development was previously reported by app researcher Alessandro Paluzzi, means there's now parity between Instagram stories and traditional posts, reports The <keyword id="6765301" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Verge">Verge</keyword>. In 2016, Instagram added automatic translations to comments, captions and user bios but failed to include the feature with stories which launched a month later. Although the new feature can translate text, the company said that audio translation isn't available "at this time". Recently, Instagram announced it is testing the ability for people to <keyword id="5977071" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="collab">collab</keyword>orate on Feed Posts and Reels called 'Collab' in <keyword id="3658" type="COUNTRY" weightage="20" keywordseo="India">India</keyword>. The online marketplace for trucking has raised $150 million from Goldman Sachs Investment Partners and Silicon Valley-based Accel, along with Wellington, Sequoia Capital, B Capital and LightStreet and existing investors Sands Capital and International Finance Corporation. “With this round of financing, we will invest to deepen our presence across the national market. However, along with this round Blackbuck employees had the option to liquidate 25% of their total vested stocks, at the current stock price of the company. According to the company’s official statement, over the last four years, the company’s employee stock option (ESOP) plan created a cumulative value of over $43 million and the company continues to invest heavily in this direction. The logistics startup made this offer available to its employees for the second time. The move comes in to ensure employee growth along with the company’s growth. This Indian startup’s latest funding is also going to make its employees rich

New Delhi, Nov 28 () Online trucking platform BlackBuck on Thursday said it has partnered with private lenders IDFC Bank and Yes Bank to provide FASTags to truck owners free of cost.
Truck owners can order FASTags on BlackBuck's Boss App, a digital services platform exclusively for truck fleet owners, and it will be delivered at their doorstep free of cost until December 31, 2019, the company said in a statement.
"BlackBuck offers free FASTags to truck owners across India. The FASTags on BlackBuck Boss app are provided in partnership with IDFC Bank and Yes Bank. The initiative is expected to help over 3 million trucks in India become FASTag compliant," it said.
Rajesh Yabaji, co-founder BlackBuck, said, the government's decision to make FASTag mandatory is a significant push towards making digital trucking economy a reality.
With this initiative, the company looks forward to support the government's national electronic tolling agenda, which will reduce tolling times and revolutionise the logistics sector in India, he said.
From December 1, 2019 all lanes of free plazas on national highways will be 'FASTag lanes'.

Indian startups led the PE deals with as many as 25 deals closed for the month accounting to $325 million. The e-commerce sector saw just three deals but their combined size worth $229 million. The biggest investments included $200 million funds raised by Grofers from Japanese investment firm Softbank. Logistics firm Blackbuck too raised as much as $150 million. Interestingly, both the companies are in the running to become the next unicorns of India. In the first quarter of 2019, India had saw a flurry of activity in the PE and venture capital space. PE-VC firms invested $10 billion in the country via 159 deals, according to data research firm <a href="http://ventureintelligence.blogspot.com/2019/04/private-equity-investments-up-26-to-10.html">Venture Intelligence</a>.

The actors were shooting of the movie Hum Saath Saath Hain in Kankani village near Jodhpur. Witnesses from the unwavering <keyword id="69006" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="bishnoi">Bishnoi</keyword> community saw the actor shoot the protected species of the rare antelope on the intervening night of 1st and 2nd October, 1998. They even jotted down the number plate of the jeep they were on. Later a case was filed by the Bishnoi community who worship the animal. (This is the <a href="https://economictimes.indiatimes.com/magazines/panache/how-a-committed-and-inspired-bishnoi-community-did-salman-khan-in/articleshow/63625066.cms">same community that was the inspiration behind the Chipko movement</a>.) The main witness, Poonamchand Bishnoi, said he saw the actor shoot the <keyword id="53463" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="blackbuck">blackbuck</keyword> while his co-stars egged him on. However, Salman claims the animal died of ‘natural causes’ and that he is being ‘framed’. This is not the only case of poaching against the actor. He has also been accused of killing a couple of chinkaras (a gazelle species) and a blackbuck in September of 1998 by the very same community. Salman Khan is issued a notice. 18 January 2017: A Jodhpur <a href="https://www.firstpost.com/entertainment/salman-khan-acquitted-in-arms-act-case-by-jodhpur-court-but-his-legal-troubles-are-far-from-over-3209118.html">court acquits Khan</a> in the Arms Act Case wherein he was charged with possessing weapons with an expired licence while hunting the animals. 28 March 2018: Final arguments of the case were completed in the trial court. April 5, 2018: A Jodhpur court convicts Khan to serve a 5-year jail term and pay Rs 10,000 penalty. In the meanwhile, Khan has made myriad movies while the various trials were on, becoming one of the biggest celebrities in the country. According to Forbes, Khan’s net pre-tax earnings in 2017 amount to $37 million, earning him a spot on the publication’s 2017 Celebrity 100 List of World’s Highest Earning Entertainers.

Timeline: How it took 20 years to convict Salman Khan in the blackbuck poaching case

<keyword id="6354779" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Jaipur">Jaipur</keyword>, Bollywood star <keyword id="6354583" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="salman-khan">Salman Khan</keyword> on Tuesday apologised for 'mistakenly' submitting a false affidavit in the Jodhpur session court in 2003, during his hearing in a case related to the poaching of two blackbucks in Jodhpur in 1998. The final verdict in the case will be pronounced on Thursday. Salman appeared before the Jodhpur session court for the hearing of his appeal against conviction in the blackbuck poaching case through video conferencing. His lawyer Hastimal Saraswat told the court that the affidavit was mistakenly submitted to the court on August 8, 2003, for which the actor should be forgiven. During the hearing, Saraswat said, "The affidavit was mistakenly given on August 8, 2003, as Salman had forgotten that his licence was given for renewal because he was too busy. Therefore, he mentioned that the licence had gone missing in the court." Salman was arrested in 1998 for hunting two blackbucks in Kankani village near Jodhpur. At that time, a case under Arms Act was registered against him and the court had asked him to submit his arms licence. Salman gave an affidavit in the court in 2003, saying that he had lost the licence. He also lodged an <keyword id="6358015" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="fir">FIR</keyword> at the Bandra police station in Mumbai in this connection. However, the court later came to know that Salman's arm licence was not lost, but had been submitted for renewal. Public prosecutor Bhavani Singh Bhati had then demanded that a case of misleading the court should be filed against the actor. A trial court in 2018 had convicted Salman and awarded five-year imprisonment to him for the killing of two black bucks during the shooting of the film 'Hum Saath Saath Hain' in October 1998. The rather grim story is that the ruler Hammir Deva was embroiled in a long battle with Muslim forces. Although Hammir fought off the invaders, the women who were seeking refuge in the Fort learned that he had succumbed on the battlefield and preferring death to dishonour, they committed mass suicide. Covering an area of 4.5 square kilometres, the ruins of the Fort provide a great vantage point to view the surrounding areas. The Fort also has a few temples dedicated to Ganesha, Shiva and Ramlalaji. DastkarThis not-for-profit NGO was established in 1981 to empower village women to earn regular income by selling their textile and embroidery work. Situated a little beyond the park entrance, the Dastkar Ranthambore Project was started in 1991. At the time, there were only 100 <keyword id="940905" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="bandhani">Bandhani</keyword> workers in Sawai Madhopur. Today, more than 2000 craftspeople work here. Here’s a look at all the startups that have crossed the valuation mark so far in 2019. Rivigo The latest startup to join the unicorn club is logistics startup Rivigo. The logistics sector had long been in the limelight after Delhivery turned unicorn. After this, both Rivigo and Blackbuck raised funds, heating up the race to being a unicorn. Now, Rivigo has managed to be a unicorn after it raised $4.9 million from South Korea's KB Platform Fund. After the deal closed, it is valued at $1.05 billion. Delhivery In March this year, Delhivery became 2019’s first unicorn. This was after the logistics tech startup raised $395 million from SoftBank. After its funding in March, it’s valued at $1.6 billion. The logistics solutions company was founded by Sahil Barua, Mohit Tandon, Suraj Saharan, Kapil Bharti and Bhavesh Manglani. They created a stronghold in the market by partnering with e-commerce majors like Flipkart and Paytm amongst others. Big Basket The grocery retail startup became a unicorn in March 2019. Bigbasket closed its Series F round of funding with an investment of $150 million, which valued it at $2.3 billion. The funding was led by Bigbasket’s earlier investor Alibaba, along with a new investor – Mirae Asset. The grocery sector which is now buzzing with new entrants like Swiggy. Grofers too turned its finances around, and has recently turned a soonicorn after the latest round of funding in May 2019. Ola Electric Ola’s subsidiary Ola Electric also turned a unicorn like its parent company. Its growth has also been fast as most of Ola’s existing investors placed their bets on the company. In July, it became a unicorn after raising $250 million from Softbank. In May, Ola Electric also raised funds from former Vodafone Group CEO Arun Sarin. Some of its other illustrious investors include Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group, Ratan Tata. In March, it had raised ₹4 billion from Ola’s existing and early investors – Tiger Global and Matrix India. Dream 11 India’s first gaming unicorn is Dream11, a fantasy gaming startup. It announced a secondary investment from Steadview Capital, an Asia-focused alternative asset manager in April 2011 which gave brought it its unicorn status. The 11-year old startup had a dream run in 2019, after signing up with IPL and the BCCI as its official partners. The cricket world cup along with IPL helped it clock in stellar numbers. In an interview with Business Insider, one of its founders Bhavin Sheth said that the startup hopes to hit 100 million users by the end of the year. Icertis In July 2019, India and US-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform Icertis became a unicorn. It raised $115 million in funding from Azim Premji’s Premji Invest and US-based VC firm Greycroft. The company, which offers contract management, has 5.7 million contracts across 90 countries. Some of its are Adobe, Airtel, Cognizant, Infosys, and Microsoft. Druva The Indo-US startup Druva entered the unicorn club in June 2019. The cloud data protection startup raised $130 million in a round that was led by Viking Global Investors. It also saw participation from funds like Neuberger Berman and Atreides Management. Existing investors Riverwood Capital, Tenaya Capital, and Nexus Venture Partners too participated in the round. Druva is a SaaS (Software as a Service) startup which was founded by Jaspreet Singh and Milind Borate in 2008. Its patented cloud architecture enables cyber governance, improves cyber resiliency, and helps customers gain critical insights. Citius Tech The healthtech company was a lesser known startup which gained unicorn status. The company provides healthcare solutions, using technologies like business intelligence, mobility and IoT, Big Data, cloud computing, predictive analytics and data science. The company was acquired by Baring Private Equity Asia in July 2019, which gave it a valuation of $1 billion.

Malaysia is one of the few countries that offers visas on arrival to Syrian nationals.He was given a three-month tourist visa, and attempted to save money to travel onwards to Ecuador, which does not require a visa. He booked a flight with Turkish Airways to the South American country, but was rejected at the gate and was not allowed to board. His ticket had apparently been cancelled.&#xa0;"I found myself back at square one," he told the BBC.With limited resources and shrinking options, Kontar booked a flight to Cambodia, which grants Syrians visas on arrival in most cases. When he arrived he was prohibited from entering and had his passport confiscated, he told the BBC. Cambodian officials told the Phnom Penh Post that Syrians could be turned away if they did not meet government "requirements."Kontar was forced to return to Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2), the low-cost carrier terminal, on March 7. He says Malaysia made him pay a fine for "overstaying" his tourist visa and was then "blacklisted," meaning he cannot leave the terminal to enter the country.He has been stuck in diplomatic limbo ever since,&#xa0;documenting his struggles on Twitter.Kontar says he's surviving on a limited diet of airline food and sleeps on the floor of the terminal. He says he cannot return to Syria because it has a warrant out for his arrest."I'm desperate for help. I can't live in this airport any longer. The uncertainty is driving me crazy. Logistics is one tricky sector that is surely going to benefit once the Good and Service Tax (<keyword id="6354679" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="GST">GST</keyword>) gets rolled out from July 1. However the results won’t be too quick. Right now, Blue Dart Express, Gateway Distriparks and Allcargo Logistics are running negative return in the market. At such a juncture, logistic industry is waiting for July just like the farmers of Maharashtra awaiting the rain. <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Heres-why-this-is-the-worst-time-to-be-in-the-business-of-hospitality-in-India/articleshow/58805542.cms" data-type="tilCustomLink">Here’s why this is the worst time to be in the business of hospitality in India</a> The current system of indirect taxation in India is very complex and logistics faces it the most. Each of the 29 states levies different magnitude of taxes when goods are moved across their borders. Both central and state taxes sums up to around 25-27% on goods. Pratish Sanghvi, Co-Founder of Grab a Grub Services Pvt. Ltd said that once GST implementation gets in place, existing taxation structure will dissolve and a new unified structure for all states will come into force. Hence, the effective rate is expected to come down to around 19-21%. This reduction of 6% in taxes will count a lot for the final burden bearing consumers. Grab is India’s first and leading last mile delivery service for businesses and merchants to bridge the gap between them and consumers. GST will lead to a total reduction of 20% in other logistics cost like warehousing, freight forwarding etc. However Sanghvi cautions the major challenge before the government is to arrive at a revenue neutral rate to ascertain no adverse effects on the revenues of central and state governments after the implementation of GST. Furthermore, the government has to protect the interests of all the stakeholders including the ultimate consumers. Structural re-engineering of the logistics network GST will remove process bottlenecks. A recent study revealed that out of the total transit time taken by a truck, it remains idle for 40% of the time due to border checks for octroi and other entry barriers. After removal of this hurdle, quicker movement of goods and increased number of deliveries will ensure operational efficiencies. Also, an estimated cost of 25% can be saved, which is incurred due to stoppages and idleness. “Currently to avoid interstate taxes, businesses build warehouses near their manufacturing facilities, ignoring the geographical disadvantages. After GST implementation, businesses will warehouse their goods at most suitable locations without the fear of multiple taxes,” said Sanghvi. Government has also allowed 100% FDI in warehousing. It will be much easier for foreign players to comply with the single point GST norms than with the previous ones. Trucking business: the major blind spot “Trucking business was always unorganized and fragmented, and it hasn’t changed much in recent time. Local businesses are largely dependent on the nearby transporters which usually rip off the users despite poor quality and inefficiencies,” Singhvi informed. There are many startups such as Rivigo and Blackbuck that are eyeing a complete revolution of the industry. A cost effective mix of higher efficiencies and lower transit time is the product they are going with into the market. India vis-à-vis global benchmarks after the implementation of GST GST has received critical acclaim globally. There are more than 160 countries around the world that have already implemented GST. After a delayed roll out, drastic changes will take place in India’s economic future. Globally, the average rate of GST ranges between 15-20%. We are yet to decide a revenue neutral rate, but the vibes are positive for logistics industry. In India, the operational inefficiency exists in the core and costs are on a higher side than other countries. This bullwhips the inflation on other products as well. Bollywood’s Dabbang superstar <keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword> has been convicted in the 13 year old hit and run case. And this sure ain’t good news for the brands that he endorses. 
	 “This verdict impacts both brand Salman Khan and the brands that he is associated with differently. As far as the brand Salman Khan is concerned, it will definitely be adversely impacted,” said brand expert <keyword id="175362" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Harish-Bijoor">Harish Bijoor</keyword>, CEO of Bijoor Consults. 
	 
	He explained that Khan’s huge fan following will be hit and his hero status will get affected. “A lot of his fans would have really preferred him to own up his mistake in the court of law. Instead, he has tried to fight it legally, which will not be taken down well by many of his followers,” added Bijoor. 
	 
	Talking about his brand endorsements, he feels that the brands he endorses will not be impacted much as consumers are mature and realise that it is advertising. “I see over 90% of the brands moving away from Salman Khan,” averred Bijoor. 
	 However, adman <keyword id="132751" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Naresh-Gupta">Naresh Gupta</keyword>, managing partner with Bang in the Middle feels otherwise. I don’t see the brands dumping Salman Khan immediately, for all of them signed him up knowing fully well that he has cases pending against him. His equity will be impacted in long term, as the news of his sentencing starts to build up. He would have a small phase of sympathy, but it will start to peter out. Long term his equity will definitely take a knock This is not the only case pending, the blackbuck one too is pending,” he said. 
	 It should be noted that currently, Salman Khan has over Rs 200 crore riding on him through his film projects. According to market estimates, his brand endorsements are pegged at nearly Rs 50 crore. “On <keyword id="1432297" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Times-Celebex">Times Celebex</keyword> , Khan is among the top 5, so he has a very strong following. His following in mass market will be even higher looking at how his movies do,” suggested Gupta. 
	 
	As per Times Celebex 2015 list, Salman Khan has the highest box office collections and is also the most searched Bollywood star online. Among the brand endorsements, Salman Khan ranks fifth with 10 brands in his kitty.
