The organization's recent study was undertaken to understand the overall emotion and tonality of digital marketing communications in the BFSI sector. The study found that empathy is the secret to a successful digital marketing campaign in the BFSI sector. Over the years, and especially in the last one years, we have come to realize that emotions play a big role in consumer decision-making. There have been several studies that have focused on the impact of empathy in consumer purchasing but not many have focused on the impact of empathy in Digital marketing. The study by Instoried was aimed at understanding what is the overall emotion and tonality of digital marketing communications in the BFSI sector and if there was a correlation between empathy and performance in digital marketing. They analyzed Search Ad copies and Social media posts between Jan to May 2021 to draw their conclusions. The report is composed with the help of the organization's proprietary sentiment analysis tool which is capable of showing the percentage of different tones and emotions in a provided piece of text. As a part of the study, around 500 Google Search advertisements that ran between Jan 2021 to May 2021 from various companies of the BFSI sector and their Google Search Ad Ranks were studied. Additionally, around 5000 social media posts from various companies of the BFSI sector along with their 'likes' were also taken into consideration. Instoried’s native AI tool was used to carry out this study. Instoried is built to predict the percentage of positive, negative, and neutral tones in any piece of text. Simultaneously the tool can also analyze the percentage of emotions such as joy, anger, fear, sadness, and surprise can. Thus, by simply pasting a text in the tool, one can check for the tonality and emotional quotient. The text advertisements and captions of social media posts were pasted to obtain the tone and emotion percentage. The tonality and emotions of the social media posts were then cross-correlated with their applause rate or performance i.e, Likes. The tonality and Emotion of the search ads were then cross-correlated with their performance i.e Search Ad Rank. The study observed that the positive tone percentage is higher than the negative tone percentage in most text advertisements. The dominant emotion in the text advertisements was joy followed by fear, sadness, anger, and with the least amount of surprise. It also noted that anger is a very strong negative emotion and affects the search ranking. Conclusion: Some of the major takeaways from the study were as follows: 1. The performance of a text advertisement depends on the tone and dominant emotion. The study concludes that a positive tone with joy as a dominant emotion, appears to work as a foolproof combination. Let me elaborate my thoughts. To be successful, business organizations have to move in sync with larger trends seen in wider society. The role of marketing is to identify such changes ahead of the curve &amp; align resources accordingly. Marketing: Trends to watch out for in the BFSI sector in 2022

Mumbai, Mar 8 () With the HR department having many responsibilities such as designing perks and benefits and supervising staff performance, the BFSI sector is witnessing growth in recruitment outsourcing, according to experts. With stringent regulations and intense competition, the process of hunting for the right talent becomes a daunting task for the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector, TeamLease Services Vice-President (Recruitment Services) Ajay Shah told here. He added that therefore, to optimise talent acquisition efforts, the sector has started shifting towards outsourcing of hiring. Recruitment outsourcing is a fast-growing industry in India and is projected to see an annual growth of 25-35 per cent, he said adding that going by the current trends, more than 70 per cent of the country's employers are likely to outsource all or part of their hiring process in the next five years. Moreover, he said that as the human resource (HR) department shoulders many important responsibilities like postings or transfer, training programmes, supervising promotions, designing perks and benefits, disbursal of retirement benefits, supervising the performance of staff, and implementing effective HR policies, the recruitment outsourcing process has become vital for the BFSI sector. Echoing a similar view, Michael Page India Director Nitin John Abraham said large-scale volume requirements that tend to be siloed function-wise gave a boom to the outsourcing of the recruitment process. "Outsourcing of the hiring process is expected to grow as it is a very cost-effective solution for large-scale volume appointments. Also, especially in the Indian market, where you have a lot of issues in terms of candidates backing out, taking multiple offers, it does require a dedicated person or group of people to manage the hiring process," he added. CIEL HR Services CEO Aditya Narayan Mishra said the outsourcing trend is not only being adopted by the BFSI sector, but also by information technology, consumer products, services, manufacturing and pharmaceutical sectors. "Many BFSI companies have limited their HR teams to strategic work of talent acquisition such as workforce planning while the execution of these plans are assigned typically to a leader for talent acquisition (TA). This TA leader usually has a small team to execute the hiring process and they usually outsource it," he added. Executive search organisation GlobalHunt Managing Director Sunil Goel said the outsourcing of hiring is growing because of fluctuating talent demand in the BFSI sector. "During April to September, maximum number of hiring takes place in the BFSI sector. The spike in demand for resources makes the organisation to recruit specialised teams and outsource support from vendors having diverse knowledge and are fast," he said. According to data by Naukri JobSpeak, the real estate sector spearheaded non-technology industries, witnessing a 21 per cent upswing in recruitment compared to April 2022. This growth was primarily due to an increase in new residential and commercial property launches across metropolitan areas, which prompted hiring in key roles such as Tender Manager, Construction Engineer, and Civil Engineer. "The growth in April hiring activity was dominated by a few key sectors such as Real Estate, BFSI, and <keyword id="47817" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="oil-gas" source="Orion">Oil &amp; Gas</keyword>. While IT-focused metros exhibited a cautious hiring sentiment, emerging cities such as Ahmedabad and Vadodara continue to shine," said Pawan Goyal, Chief Business Officer, Naukri.com. Among the large metros, Kolkata, Pune, and Hyderabad exhibited recruitment surges of 28 per cent, 22 per cent, and 19 per cent, respectively, in hiring for the real estate sector. Aside from real estate, the sectors with the highest growth in hiring activity were the oil and gas sector with 20 per cent growth, the insurance sector with 13 per cent growth, and the banking sector with 11 per cent growth compared to the same month the previous year. Recruitment in the automotive and pharmaceutical industries increased by 4 per cent and 3 per cent, respectively. Moreover, the report said that the IT industry hiring continued its ongoing correction with a 27 per cent decrease in hiring activity compared to April last year. Other than IT, sectors such as BPO, EdTech, and Retail also registered declines of 18 per cent, 21 per cent, and 23 per cent, respectively. Among non-metro cities, Ahmedabad leads hiring trends with a 28 per cent increase in new job creation over the previous year, followed by Vadodara and Jaipur with 14 per cent and 9 per cent increases in new job creation, respectively. Banking, Auto, and Insurance sectors have primarily contributed to the hiring activity observed across the Non-metro cities. Real Estate and Oil &amp; Gas were the other sectors witnessing positive hiring sentiment in the Non-Metros, the report stated. Further, the report mentioned that the demand for senior professionals with more than 16 years of experience increased by 30 per cent compared to April 2022, while the demand for 13-16 years of experience increased by 20 per cent. However, the demand for fresh graduates and professionals with four-seven years of experience has declined compared to April 2022. Not only did Google, Amazon and Microsoft lay off thousands of employees — Indian tech majors are staring at <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/business/corporates/news/infosys-sees-4-7-revenue-growth-in-fy24-after-it-misses-its-own-fy23-revenue-guidance/articleshow/99467637.cms">slower growth this financial year, indicating </a>a bleaker hiring outlook. But, there is a silver lining. It’s not just the <keyword id="15935" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="tech-companies" source="Orion">tech companies</keyword> that are in need of tech talent. As automation becomes all-pervasive, many sectors are stepping up their tech hiring. And this would more than make up for the void, says a TeamLease report Over a million tech professionals (11.15 lakh) are expected to be hired by sectors like BFSI and consulting; communication media and technology; retail and consumer business; life sciences and healthcare; engineering research and development (ER&amp;D); and energy and resources; by FY27-28. “Non-tech companies are recognizing the importance of technology in various sectors and are actively recruiting experienced tech talent to remain competitive and improve productivity and efficiency,” said the report titled ‘Digital People Supply Chain Report - Tech in Non Tech for H1-2024’. The report says that these jobs are expected to grow at 7.53% CAGR. As of now, all the sectors put together employ over 0.7 million (7.65 lakh) tech experts. Where are the tech jobs? As more and more businesses are relying on data and analytics to make critical growth decisions, it’s leading to a growing need for tech-enabled infrastructures in non-tech industries. “This has led to a surge in tech hiring, with an increase in job opportunities and salaries in non-tech companies,” the report said. At present, BFSI and consulting employs an estimated 2 lakh tech professionals, followed by retail and consumer business (1.85 lakh), engineering R&amp;D (1.43 lakh), life sciences and healthcare (1.05 lakh), communications media and technology (0.9 lakh), and energy and resources (0.42 lakh). “While there is a surge in jobs, the dearth of skilled talent continues to be a challenge for the industry. Beyond tech hiring, organizations need to invest in broad tech upskilling and lay the foundation for a skill based talent management system. Surprisingly, currently in the non tech sector, the majority of hiring is still not on permanent payrolls,” says Munira Loliwala, business head - specialized staffing, TeamLease Digital. Employers seek proficiency in cloud-based services, robotic automation transformation, and AI at all levels. Most entry-level positions require basic knowledge of programming languages and experience with content management systems. However, senior-level positions demand AI, machine learning, and blockchain cybersecurity skill sets. Retail and consumer businesses are expected to have the fastest growth rate and will employ the largest number of tech professionals by FY27, with an estimated 2.9 lakh. Following closely behind are BFSI and consulting, projected to employ 2.75 lakh. This is followed by engineering R&amp;D (1.9 lakh), life sciences and healthcare (1.55 lakh), communications media and technology (1.4 lakh), and energy and resources (0.65 lakh). Most in-demand technical positions see a significant increase in pay from entry-level to senior-level experience. Here, entry level roles may offer salaries between ₹7.5 lakh to ₹11 lakh, while it may go up to ₹33 lakh at the senior level. In communication and media technology, the positions of embedded developer and DevOps engineer offer the most significant pay and salary advancement among all job levels. Additionally, the embedded developer job title receives the highest starting salary compared to other job titles, with a rate of ₹11 lakh per annum. On the other hand, Cloud Solutions Architect roles have stable compensation across all experience levels, particularly those related to cloud-based work. The retail and consumer division exhibits impressive increases in payouts, particularly for mid to senior-level positions.

<ul><li>Average ad volumes/day spiked more than 2 folds on Radio in Jun’20 over Apr’20. </li><li>This hike in ad volumes on radio is driven by the Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector. </li><li>In Jun’20, Nagpur, Indore and Vizag witnessed a 2 fold ad volume growth.</li><li>Ad volumes on Radio started resurging from week 21 after its minimum on week 20-week 25 recorded its highest peak.</li></ul>The lockdown led to a lot of ad spends being cut down. Sectors like experiential and OOH witnessed almost a complete shutdown. Traditional mediums like radio and print also bore the brunt. However, TAM’s latest report shows that radio is bouncing back. Average ad volume/day in May’20 rose by 8% compared to Apr’20. This upsurge in <keyword id="2735725" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="radio-ads">radio ads</keyword> is driven by the Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector. <div type="image" title="radio report - tam" msid="77064133" hostid="261"></div> Life Insurance category topped the list with 8% share of ad volumes followed by ‘EcomMedia/Entertainment/Social Media’ with 5% share. Ad volumes for 2 out of Top 10 categories spiked during Apr-Jun'20 compared to Jan-Mar’20 on Radio. Among the Top 10 categories, Personal/Professional Loans had the highest surge in Ads i.e., 74 times during Apr-Jun'20 compared to Jan-Mar’20. Among the Top 10 advertisers, ad volumes for SBI rose by 46% on Radio during Apr-Jun’20 compared to Jan-Mar ’20. Here, Covid's impact was more noticeable compared to Cities excluding 4 Metros. Considering cities other than 4 Metros, the decline in ad volumes stands at 74% i.e., 8% less compared to 4 Metros. However, Ad volumes for all 18 Cities saw a growth in Jun'20 over May'20. Radio is bouncing back; ad volumes return from BFSI category: Report

<keyword id="6354185" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="IT">IT</keyword> industry would produce maximum number of <keyword id="11018" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Jobs">jobs</keyword> in the second half of 2015, the <keyword id="3021389" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="NaukriHiring">NaukriHiring</keyword> Outlook Survey August 2015 has revealed. According to the survey 41 per cent of recruiters and consultants see maximum hiring potential in this industry. 

	66 per cent of recruiters expect new jobs to be created in the second half of 2015, a slight dip compared to the 69 per cent in the first half of 2015.
 

	The half yearly survey which gauges the hiring sentiment across sectors and industries, was conducted amongst more than 1900 recruiters and consultants. 
 

	A similar trend was seen in the BFSI sector as well, where the percentage slipped from 28 per cent in the previous period to 19 per cent in the current period. The percentage of participants expecting new jobs to be created in the manufacturing sector remained constant at 26 per cent. The top five sectors from a perspective of job creation are IT, followed by manufacturing, retail, ITeS and BFSI. 
 

	"The growth in hiring activity is led by the BFSI and IT industries and is most likely to continue in favour of jobseekers. The increase in opportunities has led to higher increments in certain industry segments. The crunch for mid and senior level talent, however, continues," Sumeet Singh, EVP - Marketing and Corporate Communications, Info Edge (India) told PTI.
