Gone are their initial days of struggle. It’s the survival-of-the-fittest race now they want to win as opposed to some of the early stage start-ups, who are the ones reeling under real problems while facing huge challenges on the ground. 
 
We spoke to some of them and in no time, learnt some of the pertinent challenges. We thought it was best to let the government know what these new kids on the block seek from Mr Arun Jaitley’s upcoming Budget even though it’s just a week away. 
 
Some of the recommendations are real food for thought and therefore hard to ignore. Read on!

Digital literacy and mobile internet penetration in tier 2, tier 3 cities are other areas onto which we would like to see the Union Budget’s focus. There should be preferences to upgrade tickets based on the availability on paying an additional cost. Also, there needs to be a system to utilize the terabytes of data generated by the Railways everyday for upgrading functions like fuel &amp; energy costs, sources of delay in timings etc. For those who intend to create new startups, the Government must ensure that data is available to them and a separate railway startup policy should be announced as well," says Pushpinder Singh, CEO &amp; Co-founder.

E-commerce firms Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and Snapdeal together sold goods worth $3.1 billion in the first 4.5 days of the first festival season sale, revealed management consultancy Redseer. This growth trajectory of e-commerce platforms in India testifies how customers are increasingly recognising the importance of comfort shopping within closed doors, and after seeing their businesses take a plunge in the first three months of the lockdown, more and more sellers are coming online with the increasing adoption of e-commerce platforms. Similarly, Amazon India has also been seeing a year of firsts in its ongoing Great Indian Festival and is breaking last year’s records already. So far, the platform has recorded the highest number of first time shoppers, saw a 50% increase in new sellers and witnessed the strongest-ever start for SMBs. 91% of its first-time shoppers were from smaller cities who browsed the app in local Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Total iPhones sold on Amazon in one day were more than the total iPhones sold in the entire festive sale period of last year. The sale has also helped Amazon accelerate growth across its portfolio. Over 1 lakh customers bought Amazon devices, Echo and Fire TV devices. Kindle sales were around 2.5X higher than the first day of the sale last year. "The problem is those who choose to sexualize and criticize women's bodies, not the other way around."<h2>Professor Diana Blaine says the negative comments directed towards both Cyrus sisters can be extremely damaging to the musicians and their fans</h2>Diana Blaine, a professor of gender and sexuality studies at the University of Southern California, told Insider that women are often "caught in a double bind" when it comes to figuring out how they want to express themselves. "On the one hand, we are told we are valuable primarily for our looks, including our sexual attractiveness," she said. "Failing to live up to mythical norms of beauty can cause us to doubt our worth as humans, no matter what other talents and skills we possess."Still, women are expected to dress in ways that relate to "old codes of morality and religious beliefs," according to Blaine, so they can "easily become too attractive" or "too appealing" by trying to mirror societal norms of attractiveness. "It's no less painful to be attacked for being sexual as it is for lacking sex appeal," she said. "Either way, your body is public property, not your own to enjoy."While such comments can impact celebrities — including the Cyrus sisters — they can also send the wrong message to fans and other social-media users. After all, fans of celebrities often "want to be like them and want them to be liked," Blaine said, and can, in turn, internalize the negative comments their favorite stars receive.So when stars like Noah and Miley are called "trashy," viewers might start to believe that "being a sexually appealing female is dangerous, that being criticized is part of the experience of being female, and that we must be deserving of criticism, especially when coupled with race and class stigma," Blaine said. "Girls learn to police not only their own bodies, but those of other women," she added.Of course, Noah likely has yet to reach her peak fame the way Miley had back in 2013 during her VMAs performance.
