As reports surfaced that several high-end restaurants with multiple outlets in Delhi-NCR have delisted from <keyword id="13921938" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="Swiggy-dineout" source="Orion">Swiggy Dineout</keyword> amid deep discounting concerns, reliable industry sources said on Thursday that most of those cafes and restaurants have also delisted themselves from other online food delivery platforms like <keyword id="11830133" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="zomato" botkeyword="" source="ET" sourcekeytype="COMPANY" meta.keywordsubtype="EQ" meta.aliasname="zomato" meta.entityname="Zomato Ltd." meta.entityid="57948" meta.seoname="zomato-ltd">Zomato</keyword>. The sources told IANS that only 20 brands with nearly 400 outlets have delisted from <keyword id="6358977" type="General" weightage="90" keywordseo="Swiggy" source="Orion">Swiggy</keyword> <keyword id="2199085" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="Dineout" source="Orion">Dineout</keyword>, and one of those brands even has nearly 250 dining outlets alone. A Swiggy spokesperson told IANS that Swiggy Dineout works with over 15,000 restaurant partners on the platform in over 20 cities and continuously engages with them to improve its offering and make this partnership viable for everyone. "Restaurant partners on Swiggy Dineout have complete liberty to decide on how much discount they wish to offer to customers through their listing on the app," the spokesperson said. "Thousands of partners continue to join us each month and list on Swiggy Dineout and only a handful of restaurant partners have expressed their desire to delist from the platform. We continue to engage with restaurant partners and NRAI representatives to revisit their choices," the food delivery platform told IANS. In online food delivery platform Swiggy in May announced it has acquired Dineout, a dining out and restaurant tech platform, for an undisclosed sum. According to sources, it was a $120 million deal. Founded in 2012 by Ankit Mehrotra, Nikhil Bakshi, Sahil Jain, and Vivek Kapoor, Dineout helps people discover the best restaurants, make table reservations, and enjoy discounts and privileges across select restaurants. NRAI has said that Dineout's deep discounting techniques disrupt the core dine-in business of the restaurants and "popularise a dangerous culture of discounting that will be irreversible". The chef’s special sushi platter consisted of non vegetarian ones salmon and tuna taking the lead. However it’s the dim sums that brought out Chef <keyword id="216604" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ghanshyam">Ghanshyam</keyword>’s culinary innovation. A purple coloured dim sum loaded with chicken looked so vibrant! Chef has used the red cabbage’s colour and starch to turn simple dim sum to extra-terrestrial look.

 And then the Teppanyaki grill was ready. The huge oyster shell design, although distracted a bit. It would have been great if something more subtle was hung there to give into a Japanese extravagance. A Teppanyaki bar is just like any other bar except for the fact, instead of talking to your companion; you appreciate the heavenly meal being cooked in front of you. Chef prepared a dish of Prawn sautéed with Bok Choy, Spring Onion and Ponzu Sauce. The citrus nature of the sauce contributed to the tanginess of the prawns. It is served with Teppan Rice. We also tried the steamed sole fish tossed in Chilli Hoisin sauce. And even if you aren’t a dessert person, you should try the water chestnut dessert to get a hang of the chef’s innovations.

 Drawing inspiration from Restaurant Week-India’s largest fine dining event, DineFest will run simultaneously in Delhi, Bangalore and Mumba with a total of 42 <keyword id="34615" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="restaurants">restaurants</keyword> participating in this edition. 
 
The three-course fixed menu that boasts of ample vegetarian and non-vegetarian options can be availed at three time slots (1 pm, 8 pm and 10 pm), for both lunch and dinner at any of the 15 participating restaurants. 
 
In Delhi, the set menu is offered at a price of Rs 600 per individual, which is exclusive of applicable taxes, service charges as well as beverages or dishes ordered outside of the special DineFest menu.

Located at a distance from the hustle and bustle of Delhi city, this restaurant at NCR region is serving wide variety of vegetarian options. Curated by chef Avanish Jain, House of Soy could aptly be named the house of joy. Walking into the restaurant you feel a thrilling vibe of entering a monastery – where good food occupies the altar.  As we comforted ourselves with refreshing summer coolers (Rs 299) – Very Berry KalaKhatta and Watermelon juice, the train of vegetarian delights began with Vegetable Popiah (Rs 599). A neatly rolled tofu and bell peppers served with homemade smokey dip tasted delicious. The crispiness of the spring roll deserves special applaud. The next in the menu was Crystal Vegetable Dumplings (Rs 599). Thanks to the delicate potato starch dough, the dumplings don’t look opaque. Served with a variety of dips, you can actually derive taste of individual ingredients. The signature Tom Yum soup (Rs 399) was quite flavourful with hint of lemon and kafir lime. However a pinch of coriander could have diluted the strong flavour. So as I started with the soup, the strong flavour hit the back of the tongue.

The accompaniments were Kaeng Khiao Wan Phak (Rs 649) and <keyword id="4537026" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="mapo-tofu">Mapo Tofu</keyword> (Rs 649). If you are at House of Soy, it would be an offense not to try the green curry flavoured Kaeng Khiao Wan Phak. As you relish the Wan Phak with sticky jasmine rice, you would feel tempted to try Mapo Tofu, thanks to fragrance of the bean sauce. Silken tofu cooked in spicy chilli and bean sauce would make you go for innumerable servings before you finally give up realizing the heaviness.  The dessert on our plate was Date Pancake (Rs 449). The deep fried dates wrapped in wanton skin served with Vanilla ice cream are again a dish not to be missed. Overall the experience was quite satisfying. We did try a wide spread of non vegetarian too, ranging from Sushi, Chicken Dry red Chilli Chongqing style, <keyword id="4537028" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="schezwan-chicken-dimsum">Schezwan Chicken Dimsum</keyword> in the starters to Basa cooked in pepper sauce and Kung Pao Chicken. While House of Soy excelled in vegetarian spread, the meaty affair was equally relishing.
