<ul class="summary-list"><li>A <keyword id="11922275" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="ufc" source="Orion">UFC</keyword> 267 welterweight match that took place Saturday should have been stopped in the second round.</li><li>But an <keyword id="11922276" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="mma" source="Orion">MMA</keyword> referee called Yacheslav Kiselev allowed the fight to go on.</li></ul><p>ABU DHABI - <a href="https://www.insider.com/category/mma" target="_blank" rel="noopener">MMA</a> referee Yacheslav Kiselev was relieved of the rest of his UFC 267 duties because of a questionable performance during the preliminary section of the Etihad Arena card in Abu Dhabi.</p><p>Kiselev was the man in the middle for the three-round <a href="https://www.insider.com/category/ufc" target="_blank" rel="noopener">UFC</a> welterweight fight between <keyword id="12427426" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="elizeu-zaleski" source="Orion">Elizeu Zaleski</keyword> and <keyword id="12427427" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="benoit-saint-denis" source="Orion">Benoit Saint Denis</keyword> which Insider attended Saturday.</p><p>Zaleski won the opening round on all three of the judges' scorecards, before performing to such a high standard in the second, that he was awarded a 10-8 - a score reserved for dominance.</p><p>Such was the ruthlessness of his abilities in that second round, he landed an absurd 106 of his 173 shots, causing a great amount of damage with a knee strike and punishing punches that were nothing short of unrelenting.</p><p>Saint Denis was hurt multiple times in the contest but just refused to go down.</p><p>To save the fighter from himself, and from taking an extended beating at the hands of Zaleski, ref Kiselev should have stepped in and waved the bout off.</p><p>But he didn't.</p><p>Instead, he allowed Saint Denis to return to his stool at the end of the second, and reenter the battleground in the third.</p><p>The third round, while more even, should never have taken place as the bout was effectively over in the second.</p><p>"Holy hell," established former MMA referee <a href="https://twitter.com/JohnMcCarthyMMA/status/1454488091050250244" target="_blank" rel="noopener">John McCarthy tweeted</a>.</p><p>"I just watched the worst job of officiating at a UFC event ever," McCarthy added. <p>On Friday night, Paris was rocked by <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/paris-shootings-explosions-2015-11">several violent attacks</a>. (Onwards !).</p>You would think that after Trump and Brexit, Wall Street would learn.<p>But no, ahead of the French election analysts at Bank of America say that money managers still haven't adequately moved out of the way of history, should it choose to move against the market.</p><p>One cautious multi-billion dollar fund manager warned this correspondent that no one on Wall Street can be in front of the French election. But here we are.</p><p>"Markets are still underpricing the risks, in our view," analysts at Bank of America wrote in a recent note. "Although sharp moves in EUR risk reversals reflect strong recent demand for hedging, investors remain long European assets and long EUR. We see asymmetric EUR risks from the elections, with EUR/USD at 1.10 in a positive scenario, but below parity and as low as 0.90 in a negative scenario."</p><h1>But guys, look at this mess</h1><p>The basics: There are four main candidates to watch. Two are pro-eurozone and market friendly - former investment banker Emmanuel Macron and former prime minister Francois Fillon - and two are decidedly not. In the not category you have Marine Le Pen, of the National Front Party, and Jean-Luc Melenchon, a Socialist.</p><p>Melenchon, a self-proclaimed fan of late-Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, who has expressed a willingness to leave the eurozone, has surged in the polls since France's latest presidential debate. With 18.5%, he's just one point behind Fillon, according to <a href="http://dataviz.ifop.com:8080/HNS/HNSAdmin/start.appli?appid=60930&amp;logonUser=USERWEB&amp;logonPswcd=ZnJhbmNvaXNF">French polling firm Ifop.</a></p><p>Le Pen, coming in second with 22.5% of the vote, has been compared to US President Donald Trump. Markets consider a Le Pen victory a "Frexit" move. In its note, BAML is saying that Wall Street's positions shows that it hasn't learned its lesson from Brexit. The eurozone is still the most favored region for stock market investors, according to a bank survey of fund managers.</p><p>None of the data BAML has collected suggests that Wall Street is ready for this. In fact, it looks like most everyone only started getting ready last week:</p><p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span>"Our positioning analysis shows both real money and hedge funds long EUR for the year (Chart 4). Both started selling EUR only last week, most likely because of concerns about the elections in France as polls converged. </span></p><p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span>EUR is the second longest G10 FX position for the past 12 months, according to our positioning measures</span><span>-</span><span>after JPY (Chart 5). The reason EUR/USD has not done much this year is selling by corporates and officials, </span><span>offsetting buying by real money and hedge</span><span>. </span></p><p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span>Our </span><span>Rates and FX Sentiment survey </span><span>suggests that investors are still short EUR, but far from the stretched levels during 2014-15. Our </span><span>quant models </span><span>suggest that the option market is behaving as if it is still long EUR/USD, reflecting strong recent demand for hedging. Here's what you need to know.</p><p><strong><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/report-heavy-gunfire-during-police-operations-reported-in-paris-2015-11">There's been a massive police raid in Paris.</a> </strong>Two people died in a gunfire exchange, including one woman who blew herself up, as police continue to search for the main suspect linked to Friday's deadly terrorist attacks. All 129 people who were killed have now been identified, according to the French president's office. At least seven other people were arrested during the raid on an apartment building in a northern Paris suburb, and five police officers were wounded. The Belgian man suspected to be the mastermind of Friday's attacks remains at large.</p><p><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/will-squares-ipo-be-the-beginning-of-the-end-of-the-unicorn-driven-tech-bubble-2015-11"><strong>Square and Match price their initial public offerings today.</strong></a> Square, the mobile payments company headed by Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, set the price range for its IPO at $11 to $13 a share, valuing it at $4.2 billion. It is among the Silicon Valley "unicorns" valued at over $1 billion, which also include Uber and Airbnb. Square's valuation was 30% less than its worth during a private fundraising round a year ago. Match, owner of online dating sites including Tinder and OkCupid, set a price range of $12 to $14 a share and planned to sell 33.3 million shares. It, too, is valued at over $1 billion.</p><p><a href="http://www.wsj.com/articles/regulators-look-into-mutual-funds-procedures-for-valuing-startups-1447796553"><strong>The Securities and Exchange Commission is stepping up its scrutiny of how mutual funds price private tech companies.</strong></a> According to the Wall Street Journal, the regulator has questioned large fund firms in recent months over their valuation process and the accuracy of their estimates. The top-five fund firms invested a combined $8.3 billion during funding rounds this year through September 30, versus $1 billion for all of 2011, The Journal reported.  </p><p><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/airgas-stock-halted-after-acquisition-talks-2015-11"><strong>Air Liquide is buying Airgas in a deal that would create the world's largest supplier of industrial gas</strong>.</a> Paris-based Air Liquide is paying $143 per share in cash, giving Airgas an enterprise value of $13.4 billion. Airgas shares surged by as much as 29% in trading on Tuesday after the announcement; trading had been halted for news pending. "This acquisition increases our geographic reach in the resilient U.S. market, and offers continuous growth opportunities," Air Liquide CEO Benoît Potier said in a statement.</p><p><strong><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/yahoo-got-subpeona-from-new-york-about-fantasy-sports-2015-11">Yahoo is now involved in the New York state attorney general's investigation of daily fantasy-sports sites.</a></strong> The company received a subpoena from the AG, who last week ordered DraftKings and FanDuel to stop accepting bets in the state. FanDuel announced yesterday that it would suspend its operations, disallowing people from reloading their accounts and entering paid contests. The letter was not released publicly and did not have any numbers on the proposed transaction. Norfolk Southern acknowledged the letter in a statement on Tuesday evening, saying the offer was $46.72 in cash and .0348 shares of Canadian Pacific for each Norfolk Southern share. The combined rail network would be worth about $47 billion.</p><p><strong><a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/r-lowes-cos-quarterly-sales-rise-5-percent--2015-11">Lowe's earnings beat.</a></strong> America's second-largest home-improvement chain reported a 5% rise in quarterly sales, thanks to a robust housing recovery. Net sales rose to $14.36 billion from $13.68 billion a year ago. Net income climbed to $736 million, or 80 cents a share, from $585 million, or 59 cents a share compared to the prior year.  <strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Global markets are a bit lower, and US stock futures are mixed. </strong>The Euro Stoxx 50 and France's CAC 40 were down about 0.7%. S&amp;P 500 futures were down two points, and Dow futures up five.
