Makers of the much anticipated romantic drama '<keyword id="2356772" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="bawaal" source="Orion">Bawaal</keyword>' featuring the first on-screen collaboration between <keyword id="383666" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="varun-dhawan" source="Orion">Varun Dhawan</keyword> and <keyword id="3273962" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="janhvi-kapoor" source="Orion">Janhvi Kapoor</keyword> are all set to unveil the teaser of the film. Taking to Instagram, Varun shared a BTS picture featuring Janhvi from the movie along with the teaser announcement. Sharing the picture, he wrote, "Tum pyaar karne dete toh tumhe kitna pyaar karte.#Bawaal teaser out tomorrow at 12." The teaser will be out on July 5 (Wednesday) at 12 PM. In the picture, Varun and Janhvi can be seen posing against a picturesque backdrop. Janhvi is seen dressed in a red-white printed dress while Varun wore an abstract printed casual shirt and trousers. The movie is directed by <keyword id="368516" type="General" weightage="40" keywordseo="nitesh-tiwari" source="Orion">Nitesh Tiwari</keyword>, and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala's Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment in collaboration with Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari's Earthsky Pictures. 'Bawaal' will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and across 200 countries and territories on July 21. Recently, the makers announced the direct release of Nitesh Tiwari's directorial on OTT. Earlier, it was slated to hit the theatres on October 6, 2023. As per a study conducted by NielsenIQ commissioned by Amazon for TV streaming trends, 97% of Indians prefer to stream their favourite movies and shows at dinner time. The good news is that they’re not cutting down on family time, as 74% watched these services with family, especially spouses and children. Family streaming also means they all want to watch it together on their big screens. According to the study, 78% respondents prefer streaming content on their TVs through streaming sticks, smart TVs, and set-top-boxes as compared to smartphones, tablets and laptops. TV equals painless streaming In addition to family time, TV watching offers ergonomic comfort. “Viewing on TV may also allow one to maintain a comfortable body posture, alleviating the aches and pains sometimes associated with watching content while holding the phone,” the study says. Adding to this is the active broadband connections at most homes. TVs also provide better video and sound quality, and convenience of accessing a variety of content across OTT providers and online sources. Voice assistants, and the convenience of watching live shows and DTH channels all in one single screen also helps. “Online video streaming has come a long way since its inception, and so has streaming habits of consumers. What has remained a constant is our preference to view content on the biggest screen in our homes – the television,” said <keyword id="20216460" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="parag-gupta" source="keywords">Parag Gupta</keyword>, Director and Country Manager, Amazon Devices India. What does India love to stream? Almost 66% of respondents of the study also said that they streamed five hours daily over the weekend. On weekdays, most of them keep it down to three hours of streaming. As per the study, India loves to watch comedy – which is the most popular genre of content watched. It’s closely followed by sports, thriller, romantic, horror, international TV shows, and news in order of preference. Ormax too recently released a report on the most streamed movies and shows on OTT. <keyword id="19911186" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="shahid-kapoor" source="keywords">Shahid Kapoor</keyword>’s Farzi became the most watched Hindi web series with a viewership of around 37 million. Anil Kapoor’s The Night Manager however comes a close second with 28.4 million. Bhuvam Bam starrer Taaza Khabar came at number three with a viewership of 23.5 million. Made in Heaven season 2 ranked at number 10 with 15.7 million. “Farzi is the only show to cross the 30 million viewership mark in 2023, and is now the most-watched subscription video on demand (SVOD) series in India of all time. Two advertising video on demand AVOD shows from JioCinema, i.e., Asur 2 &amp; Taali, feature in the top five most-watched shows of the year,” said Ormax. Dinner with the idiot box: 97% Indians like to stream while they eat

New Delhi, Dressed in an electric blue lehenga crafted by couturier Gaurav Gupta, actor <keyword id="3273962" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Janhvi-Kapoor" source="Orion">Janhvi Kapoor</keyword> walked down the ramp to the beats of Indian classical music on the third day of the India Couture Week (ICW) 2023 here. On Thursday night, Gupta presented his 2023 couture collection, titled 'Hiranyagarbha', to the Indian audiences after showcasing it at the Paris Haute Couture Week earlier this month. Inspired from the manifested cosmos in Vedic philosophy, the collection includes the interpretations of the five elements: earth (prithvi), water (jal), fire (agni), air (vayu), and space (akasha) from the universal womb, according to a note from the designer. Gupta said Kapoor's ensemble was inspired by the water element. "It is all about different colours and elements coming together. You see orbital embroideries and pearls. Glitzy embroideries like her lehenga right here and electrifying Janhvi on the ramp as well. "Her look is electrifying and at the same time, it's serene as Janhvi is. This is inspired by water as part of the 'Hiranyagarbha'," he told reporters at the post-show press conference held at DLF Emporio here. The collection is "a journey from birth, transformation, realisation, and eventual harmony with the cosmos", the designer said. Kapoor's lehenga was adorned with 3,000 hand-embroidered bugle beads and took 457 man hours to be made. The "Bawaal" actor, who has worn Gupta's designs for events and magazine covers in the past as well, said she was "thrilled" to walk the ramp for the couturier. "We were talking about doing something like this for so long and finally, we have done it. I'm so excited. It has been a great day, we've all had a great time," she added. For this edit of the couture collection, the designer expanded the 'Hiranyagarbha' story (about the beginning of the universe as described in Vedas) to include reception cocktail lehengas, gowns, saris and modern hybrid silhouettes with the synergies of comfortable, confident, easy couture. Further, Gupta added whimsical creatures such as dragons, pegasus, and centaur which were rendered in 3-D embroideries onto tuxedos and bandhgalas under the menswear segment. The ICW, organised by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), will conclude on August 2.

New Delhi, "<keyword id="486655" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="gangs-of-wasseypur" source="Orion">Gangs of Wasseypur</keyword>" may be credited for making the catchphrase "Tum Se Na Ho Payega" popular, but writer-director <keyword id="368516" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="nitesh-tiwari" source="Orion">Nitesh Tiwari</keyword>, whose new film draws its title from the line, believes it was already a part of the audience's conscience. Spoken by Tigmanshu Dhulia's character <keyword id="2183828" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="ramadhir-singh" source="Orion">Ramadhir Singh</keyword> in Anurag Kashyap's 2012 cult classic, the phrase has come to reflect loss of faith in someone's ability and competence. Written by Tiwari and directed by Abhishek Sinha, "Tum Se Na Ho Payega" is a "light-hearted take on the modern-day challenges faced by today's youth, and their dilemma in standing up to these rules laid by the society". Asked if the title of his film is a hat-tip to "Gangs of Wasseypur", Tiwari said that wasn't the case. "'Tum Se Na Ho Payega' has become a popular phrase because of 'Gangs of Wasseypur'. But I like to believe that 'Tum Se Na Ho Payega' existed in our conscience before 'Wasseypur'. 'Wasseypur' also used something that already existed. This (the title of our film) probably exists in the lingo of the youth and what better than something that, (which) not only encapsulates the flavour of the film and feel of the youth," the writer-director told PTI in a virtual interview. "Tum Se Na Ho Payega" was previously named on its source material: <keyword id="183303" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="varun-agarwal" source="Orion">Varun Agarwal</keyword>'s novel "How I Braved Anu Aunty and Co-Founded a Million Dollar Company", he added. Tiwari, best known for directing "Chillar Party", "Dangal" and "Chhichhore", said they decided to change the title as they had "fundamentally deviated" from certain aspects of the 2012 book. "There were many more elements in the film than just 'the aunty bit'. We went back to this and asked if this was the best way to summarise the film as 'Bas Karo Aunty'. The answer came back 'no'. "The best way to explain the film was through the philosophy of the film -- the voices of the film which constantly keep telling us that the moment you try to do something different. At the same time, the flavour of the film is fun and about banter between friends. It has a lot to do with the life of youngsters," he added. The director, an engineering graduate from IIT-B by educational qualification, describes himself as someone who doesn't have many dreams and takes life as it comes. Before foraying in films, Tiwari was in the field of advertising, where he also crossed paths with his wife and filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. "I take life as it comes. I don't plan too much. That's why you see my movies come once every three years. Never following a set pattern but everybody says I should," said Tiwari, whose latest film as a director was 2023's "Bawaal". He, however, has a dream for EarthSky Pictures, a production house he co-founded with his wife. Tiwari said they aim to tell diverse stories and nurture younger talent through their banner. "We were fortunate that somebody believed in us and gave us a break. This is our way of paying back. If at all, you can call it a dream, which is not so much at a personal level, but what kind of stuff I'll be doing going forward. That will happen as it has to happen. The dream as of now is to be able to tell many more stories with the help of a lot of fantastic young talent, whether it's technicians, writers or directors," he added. "Tum Se Na Ho Payega" stars an ensemble cast of Ishwak Singh, Mahima Makwana, Gaurav Pandey, <keyword id="124291" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="amala-akkineni" source="Orion">Amala Akkineni</keyword>, Gurpreet Saini, Parmeet Sethi and Meghna Malik. Since then, many companies have launched in India. A few evolved with the changing tides and some failed to keep up with the curveballs in the shape of competition, macro-economic factors, technology and the ever-changing consumer behaviour and eventually, withered away. So, what has helped a traditional multi-corporation like PepsiCo and its flagship brand Pepsi avoid aging and stay young in a volatile environment? Clever advertising and marketing techniques. “The brand has always had its finger on the pulse of pop culture, and in turn, appealed to today’s generation through content which is relatable to them. Extensive consumer research over the years has helped us stay ahead of the curve and tell stories that resonate with them - whether it is through Bollywood, music or cricket. We have focused on creating engaging and relatable content for consumers around these passion points as we truly believe it is about creating content which they can interact with,” said a PepsiCo India spokesperson. Today, Pepsi is known as a brand that celebrates the sizzling swag of India’s youth. It reflects how GenZ and Millennials are armed with self-belief and confidence. Pepsi has gone through several brand transformations. Its iconic Dil Maange More where the cricketers would quench their thirst with a cool can or a young Shahid Kapoor or Shahrukh Khan would request for just one more sip of Pepsi won our hearts in the late 90s. From changing its typography from minimalism to elaborate, in the last year, the brand has changed its marketing efforts to position itself as a ‘cool’ brand that drips swagger in every drop Under its latest campaign, Pepsi has worked with Tiger Shroff, Disha Patani, Badshah and most recently Salman Khan. So, we asked Pepsi about the youth’s behaviour and what are some of the things that they expect from brands today. “In today's day and age, consumers expect their favorite brands to engage with them through meaningful experiences across different digital touchpoints. They no longer just want to buy things today but instead want to want to be associated with a brand’s identity - they want inspiration, emotion, drama, and an overall feel-good experience. Simply put, consumers want to step away from an interaction with a brand, feeling like they have gained something. It is no longer about a one-way presentation of the brand’s core product offering but more about the dialogue that a brand can start and the emotions it can evoke. Brands which keep these factors in mind while communicating with consumers are more likely to receive higher consumer attention and engagement,” said the PepsiCo India spokesperson. The brand also keeps a close eye on social media trends. “Another important aspect which has helped us connect deeply with consumers is moment marketing. Today’s generation appreciates when brands share topical content and that is why we have an ‘Always On’ social media strategy for Pepsi. We are looking forward to the recovery and the return of pre-covid trends, especially as the summer season approaches. The demand has been robust in the last few months and to improve it further, we implemented strategies like the introduction of friendship packs that helped consumers who were looking for convenient options for at-home consumption, mainly in urban markets. In fact, At-home demand for beverages was leading the recovery trend over the last few months and we are hopeful that it is only bound to scale up. Moving forward, convenience will continue to be driving factors as we ensure both large and small packs of products across our categories are always available to suit various occasions and consumers across the country,” said the spokesperson. During the lockdown, Pepsi also shifted its marketing monnies to digital media and is now slowly getting back to its 360-degree approach. The cola brand has constantly reinvented itself to create experiences that connect with consumer passions, be it Bollywood, Music or Sports and this year, it would continue to focus on the same areas. Sharing some of the focus areas for this year, PepsiCo’s spokesperson said, “Driving consumer awareness and engagement through effective advertising has always been our priority. In 2020, we launched digital-first campaigns given online content consumption was at an all-time high. This year, with the external environment slowly opening up, our intent is to elevate our marketing game a notch higher to create a 360-degree surround. We will be pivoting our brand communication across mass pillars of choice like entertainment, sports, music and gaming through multiple mediums to reach consumers across the country. While we shall continue to leverage digital platforms, we shall also leverage other mediums especially TV and outdoor as they are gaining prominence.”
