The phone features a sturdy glossy back panel with a marble feel to it which is visible when the lights are on. The phone, at a glance, looks quite stylish and will stand out in a crowd. I personally am not a fan of prints but the marble feel on the iQOO Z9s Pro looks quite elegant and not at all overdone. Then there is the familiar square camera module and the iQOO branding. It works well both indoors and outdoors, so you won’t have to worry about using it in sunlight.<br /><br />The tablet’s high resolution and refresh make it an excellent option for watching your favourite movies and shows, gaming and more.<br /><br /><h2>Redmi Pad Pro 5G software and performance</h2>The Redmi Pad Pro 5G runs on Android 14 out of the box, with the company’s HyperOS on top. For those unaware, Xiaomi has replaced MIUI, the company’s custom skin with HyperOS. The tablet will get two years of Android updates and three years of security updates.<br /><br />The tablet comes with a host of connectivity features, including the Smartphone Link feature that allows you to transfer data from your Xiaomi smartphone and tablet easily. In addition to this, you also get a shared clipboard feature, which allows you to copy text and images from your smartphone and paste them onto your tablet.<br /><br />In terms of performance, the tablet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset. It is available in two variants – 8GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB of internal storage. I tested the 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage variant.<br /><br />This is a mid-range chipset that offers decent performance and is enough to get you through your day-to-day activities. While it is not the most powerful chipset, I did not notice any stuttering or lags while gaming at default settings. The device does get slightly warm after an extended gaming session.<br /><br />The Redmi Pad Pro 5G comes with a huge 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The battery on the tablet is good, offering two days of battery life with some gaming and steaming.<br /><br />Another important feature of the tablet is that it supports 5G connectivity, which is great to have, especially for data connectivity.<br /><br /><h2>Redmi Pad Pro 5G camera</h2>It features an 8MP primary camera with 4K recording support and comes with an 8MP selfie camera with 1080p video recording support. India is the first country outside the US to start the <keyword id="20805504" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="local-production" source="keywords">local production</keyword> of the seven-seater electric SUV. <br /><br /> EQS SUV 580 4MATIC is the second model, after the EQS sedan, to be locally produced at company's Pune-based manufacturing plant. <br /><br /> "This will be our sixth EV in India, and the second car to be locally produced in India. We are also proud that India becomes the first market out of the US to locally manufacture the EQS," Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Santosh Iyer told PTI in an interaction. <br /><br /> The move to manufacture the product locally outlines the company's commitment to electrification and increasing product portfolio offering choices to customers, he added. <br /><br /> "EQS SUV's localisation underpins our deep commitment to grow the Indian <keyword id="23188213" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="luxury-electric-car" source="keywords">luxury electric car</keyword> market and reinforce our commitment for a greener and sustainable future," Iyer said. <br /><br /> The move also supports the government's vision of Make-in-India, he said. <br /><br /> Iyer said local production has led to a significant advantage in terms of pricing the electric SUV. <br /><br /> The introductory price of EQS SUV 580 4MATIC starts at Rs 1.41 crore which should also make a lot of customers shift to EVs much faster in terms of transition, he said. <br /><br /> When asked about the demand for green vehicles, Iyer said the sales of EVs were growing in the country with even high-end products finding acceptance. <br /><br /> "The EQA sedan which was introduced in India around 18 months back, we have sold more than 500 cars. It's a car costing more than Rs 1.6 crore. Our total penetration of EVs is 5 per cent today, it's growing. At the same time, the research is going on. The aluminium, ironic oil, and different types of chemistry. I feel that it is also a good thing and there is a huge market for that."<br /><br /><keyword id="19934966" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="gadkari" source="keywords">Gadkari</keyword> said with government initiatives and incentives many Indian companies are venturing into lithium-ion battery manufacturing.<br /><br />"The good thing is that lithium-ion manufacturing is now <keyword id="19898586" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="adani" source="keywords">Adani</keyword>, <keyword id="19904884" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="tata" source="keywords">Tata</keyword>, Maruti, LG, and Samsung. They are all coming in this business. Because...Take the example of semiconductors the government adopted is such a good policy because of that after 2 three years we will be the number one in the manufacturing of the semiconductors in the world," he said.<br /><br />Going further, Gadkari stated that India's EV market is expected to grow to one crore units of annual sales by 2030 and will create five crore jobs. Indian EV market has the potential to become Rs 20 lack crore by 2030.<br /><br />Gadkari asked the industry to focus on quality, better designs, and use the latest technology if they want to compete in the segment and boost exports. Consumers are now conscious of quality.<br /><br />The government is working on establishing a testing agency for better research and testing of vehicle manufacturing. CIIT Training Institute will be established in Pune with a sanctioned cost of Rs 450 crore.<br /><br />"Regarding the Testing Agency for Better Research and Development and Development world-class Testing Agency in CIIT Pune we have decided to start a new venture there with international standards and having all types of the facility which are available in the world and my department has sanctioned 450 Cor or that already DPR is in process and next three months we will try to start this project and that is to be very important for the industry where we will get maximum service and maximum to all the industry," he said.<br /><br />The Union Minister requested the automobile industry to support and cooperate with the government for India's scrappage policy.<br /><br />Gadkari asked the industry to promote and come up with better incentives for the scrappage of old vehicles. The vehicle manufacturers of the USA and Europe have increased their sales by 9 to 12 per cent by promoting scrappage policy.<br /><br />He also thanked the industry for the decision to provide a 3 percent discount for vehicle owners for scrapping their vehicles, adding that the cost of components can be reduced by 20-40 per cent due to the move. Gadkari urged the industry to establish their own scrappage centres.<br /><br />In his remarks, Gadkari said, "The automobile industry plays a pivotal role in realizing the Prime Minister's vision of transforming India into a 5 trillion-dollar economy and elevating it to the third largest economy globally. Our ambition is to extend it as the number one auto manufacturing industry worldwide.
