The court directed telecom authorities to take action to pull down websites providing content in violation of Bachchan's rights. It also directed telecom service providers to block access to telephone numbers circulating infringing messages. Senior advocate Harish Salve said the relief of injunction was sought not only against the individuals named in the lawsuit but also against "john doe" parties or unknown parties who may be exploiting Bachchan's publicity rights. These meetings of Tramp Shipping Limited (Bahamas) and Sea Bulk Shipping Company Ltd (British Virgin Islands) were held on December 12, 1994. 
 
Indian Express reported that the venue of these meetings were “38/39, The Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey, Channel Islands, JE4 8SD.” 
Bachchan’s name was also recorded in the list of directors and office bearers on the Certificate of Incumbency issued by both companies. 
 
These records relate to a $1.75-million loan from a Jeddah-based investment company that also finds mention in Mossack Fonseca records investigated by The Indian Express. 
 
The Indian Express had reported earlier that Mossack Fonseca records show Bachchan was appointed director and managing director of Sea Bulk Shipping Company Ltd (BVI), Lady Shipping Ltd, Treasure Shipping Ltd and Tramp Shipping Ltd (Bahamas) in 1993. He was also listed under “Nombre Miembro” (member name) of these companies. 
 
When Bachchan was approached by the newspaper on the same issue, his publicist emailed a statement: “On the Panama disclosures, I wish to state that queries continue to be sent to me by the media. I would humbly request them to kindly direct these to the GOI (Government of India) where I, as a law abiding citizen have already sent, and shall continue to send, my responses. I stand by my earlier statement on the ‘misuse of my name’ in the matter and in any event the press reports do not disclose any illegal act committed by me.”

And with such surnames, also comes great responsibilities. But, in a letter to his granddaughters, Big B wrote beyond their celebrated surnames, they were also girls, who have all the right to live their lives as they want to. 
 
He wrote a letter to both of them and gave some pearls of wisdom, which are bang on in this day and age, where girls are judged at every step, especially when you are related to star like Big B. He also admitted that it was difficult to be a woman. 
 
Big B, in his letter to his granddaughters , wrote how they should not care about anyone’s judgemental looks and not think about- ‘log kya kahenge’ (what will people say). 
 He said do not set any boundaries and live a carefree life. A movie on the same issue, ‘<keyword id="23699" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="pink">Pink</keyword>’, is also releasing, starring Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu.

My very dearest Navya &amp; Aaradhya, 
 
You both carry a very valuable legacy on your tender shoulders - Aaradhya, the legacy of your पर दादाजी, Dr Harivansh Rai Bachchan… and Navya, the legacy of your पर दादाजी, Shri HP Nanda…. 
 
Both your पर दादाजीs gave your present surnames celebrated fame, dignity and recognition! 
 
Both of you maybe a Nanda or a Bachchan, but you are also girls…women! 
 
And because you are women people will force their thinking, their boundaries on you.

Navya - the privilege your name, your surname offers you, will not protect you from the difficulties you will face because you're a woman. 
 
Aaradhya - by the time you see and understand this, I may well not be around. But I think what I am saying today shall still be relevant. 
This may be a difficult, difficult world to be a woman. But I believe that it is women like you that will change that. 
 
It may not be easy, setting your own boundaries, making your own choices, rising above people's judgment. But YOU!... you can set an example for women everywhere. 
 
Do this and you would have done more than I have ever done, and it will be my honour to be known not as Amitabh Bachchan, but as your grandfather!!
