Many queens derive their primary income from performing at bars and stages all over the world — and from the fans who show up to tip them.But, like millions around the world, drag queens are sheltering in place during the coronavirus pandemic."We've really had no other option than to resort to going back to the old days," Aquaria told Business Insider, "where a lot of us started being little internet queens, and just doing our makeup and honing our craft at home."Drag shows around the world have moved online. As <a href="https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-features/virtual-drag-shows-coronavirus-pandemic-970347/">Rolling Stone reported</a>, queens have taken to platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and even Instagram Live to keep the party going — and attempt to recoup some lost income."I have a lot of privilege and a lot less stress — in theory — when it comes to putting these things together, and getting my [Instagram] Lives and my streams publicized," Aquaria said.But she noted that that's not necessarily the case for local entertainers. Many may have huge followings in their hometowns, but translating that to a global audience — and recouping the tips they would have received from local fans — is a difficult task. Aquaria, along with a roster of fellow "Drag Race" stars, has been competing in "<a href="https://vossevents.com/werq-the-world-live-streams/">Werq The World Battle Royale</a>." It's a livestream of the self-described "largest drag show on the planet" — and, according to its website, all funds raised go to "displaced local drag entertainers around the globe." Fans get to watch the queen offer meta-commentary alongside an episode they compete in, and the queens get a chance to perform in front of excited fans."Drag Race" also crowns a winner live; while the finale is prerecorded, every finalist films a segment of them winning. The actual ending is aired in real time, and queens learn their fate alongside the audience — one famous example is a <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zql6qRPOBGY">reaction video of Sasha Velour watching herself win season 9</a>."Those [viewing parties] were very special moments for me," Aquaria said. And it's really hard to see that the season 12 girls are not able to really do much as far as work, no matter how hard they want to try."But she said that fans have stepped up to try and (virtually) fill that void as much as they can for the current competitors."I don't know if it's just 'cause I'm online, but I think every day I see so many posts and things shared that are just trying to uplift these girls," Aquaria said. New Delhi, Apr 15 () Agricultural and allied activities including dairy, fisheries as well as tea, coffee and rubber plantation are allowed to function in the second phase of the COVID-19 lockdown, the government said on Wednesday issuing fresh guidelines.Operations of tea, coffee and rubber plantations are allowed with maximum 50 per cent workers. Processing, packaging, sale and marketing of these commodities as well as cashew have been allowed with maximum 50 per cent workers, it said."All agricultural and horticultural activities remain fully functional," the Ministry of Home Affairs said, issuing a new set of guidelines for enforcement during the second phase of the lockdown till May 3.The government has allowed farming operations and farm workers in the field. Agencies engaged in procurement of agri-products, including MSP operations are permitted during the lockdown period.Even mandis operated by the Agriculture Produce Market Committee or as notified by the state government as well as direct marketing operations by the state government or industry directly from farmers or Farmer Producers Organisations are allowed to operate.The government further asked state governments to promote decentralised marketing and procurement of farm commodities at village level.As harvesting of rabi crops like wheat is underway, the government has allowed inter and intra state movement of harvesting and sowing related machines like combined harvester and other agriculture and horticulture implements.That apart, the government has allowed shops of agriculture machinery, its spare parts including its supply chain and repairs to remain open.Custom hiring centres related to farm machinery are also allowed to remain open during the lockdown.For smooth supply of farm inputs during the ongoing sowing of kharif crops, the government has permitted manufacturing, distribution and retail of fertilisers, pesticides and seeds.To ensure the fishery sector does not suffer during the lockdown, movement of fish and fish products, fish seed and feed as well as workers engaged in these activities are allowed.Marine and inland fishing operations as well as the aquaculture industry including feeding, maintenance, harvesting, processing, packaging, cold chain, sale and marketing -- are allowed to operate.Hatcheries, feed plants and commercial aquaria are also allowed.To ensure smooth supply of milk to consumers and protect farmers, the government has allowed collection, processing, distribution and sale of milk and milk products.Milk processing plants are allowed to operate including transport and supply chain.Poultry farms and hatcheries as well as livestock farming activity are also permitted during the lockdown.For smooth supply of animal feed to the livestock sector, the government has permitted feed plants to operate including supply of raw material such as maize and soya.The government has also permitted operation of animal shelter homes including Gaushalas during the lockdown period. Head of Conservation and Advocacy at the Paignton Zoo, Dr. Amy Plowman, says that giving the bananas to monkeys is like feeding them cake or chocolate.
"Compared to the food they would eat in the wild, bananas are much more energy dense - they have lots of calories - and contain much more sugar that's bad for their teeth and can lead to diabetes and similar conditions," Dr. Plowman said in <a href="http://www.paigntonzoo.org.uk/news/details/taking-diet-tips-from-monkeys">a statement on the zoo's website</a>. "It can also cause gastrointestinal problems as their stomachs are mostly adapted to eating fibrous foods with very low digestibility."
The monkeys have now been weened off bananas and other fruit, and are instead being served green leafy vegetables and lots leafy branches, called browse. The monkeys are only fed bananas when they need to take medication, which is hidden inside the fruit. 
The European Association of Zoos and Aquaria, a body that advises zoos on animal <keyword id="6358230" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="diet">diet</keyword>, also supports the vegetable-heavy diet. The organization found that <a href="http://www.eaza.net/activities/Documents/NutritionDocs/EAZA-ZAN4.PDF">while primates do eat bananas and other fruits in the wild</a>, the "fruits consumed by wild primates are more comparable in their nutrient composition to vegetables used in zoos."
This doesn't mean that monkeys don't like bananas. Like children who love cake and chocolate, studies show that primates will choose sweet fruit over others.
In one experiment from 1936, a number of monkeys from different species were given a variety of foods and their reactions recorded. The resulting paper, titled "Some Problems Regarding The Feeding Behavior Of Monkeys," found the primates were pretty <a href="http://www.readcube.com/articles/10.1111/j.1469-7998.1936.tb08519.x?locale=en">much unanimous in their preferences</a>: (1) Grape, (2) Banana, (3) Apple, (4) Carrot, (5) Lettuce or Cabbage, (6) Nuts, (7) Bread.

The fate of 18-month-old Marius shocked animal lovers around the world, with thousands signing an online petition to save him and a billionaire offering to buy him and keep him in his Beverly Hills garden.
However last-ditch efforts to spare Marius were to no avail and he was put down with a bolt gun early on Sunday, zoo spokesman Tobias Stenbaek Bro confirmed.
A crowd of visitors, including small children, looked on as the giraffe was put down. Some grimaced while others took photos as he was autopsied and chopped up.
A full-maned lion later tucked into the giraffe's remains, fed to carnivores at the zoo.
"It was put down at 9:20. It went as planned. It's always the people's right to protest. But of course we have been surprised," Stenbaek Bro told AFP.
The zoo said it had no choice other than to prevent the animal attaining adulthood.
Under European Association of Zoos and Aquaria (EAZA) rules, in-breeding between giraffes is to be avoided.
Although Marius is healthy, his genes are already well represented at the zoo and he cannot be taken in by the 300 other EAZA-affiliated zoos.
Castration is considered cruel with "undesirable effects", while releasing him in the wild is thought unlikely to succeed.
The giraffe's impending death sparked outrage online, with more than 5,000 people signing a "Save Marius" Facebook petition. More than 3,000 people signed a similar Danish-language online petition and nearly 24,000 an English-language version.
There were reportedly several attempts made to save Marius.
A Swedish zoo, which is not part of the EAZA network, tried in vain to get Marius transferred, the Expressen daily reported.
And another daily, Denmark's Ekstrabladet, quoted a Danish promoter living in Los Angeles, Claus Hjelmbak, as saying he had found a buyer for the animal.
"One of my close friends, a billionaire, said that he wanted to transfer a few million so we could save the giraffe," Hjelmbak was quoted as saying.
"He could easily have lived in his garden in Beverly Hills, but the zoo director was not interested in a sale. I'm angry," the promoter added.
The zoo had made clear from the beginning of the protest that its policy was not to sell the animals.
