New Delhi, Feb 5 () Apollo Micro Systems, which caters primarily to defence and aerospace sectors, on Wednesday said it will acquire majority stake in with Ananya SIP RF Technologies (ASIP RF). The company signed an agreement with ASIP RF in order to acquire 51 per cent equity share capital, Apollo Micro Systems said in a regulatory filing. Through the proposed acquisition, the company aims to expand the business towards new technologies by establishing a radio frequency (RF) and microwave design-cum-production facility along with the integration facility. ASIP RF Technologies was incorporated in 2015 with main objects to carry on the business of design, development, manufacturing, servicing and supply of RF, microwave components, subsystems and systems using conventional and low temperature co-fired ceramic technology. The facility has an option to raise additional $200 million. The financing structure enables a scalable capital solution with flexibility to tap global capital markets in line with AAHL's vision of providing a transformational airport infrastructure platform. AAHL is leading the Adani portfolio's foray into B2C infrastructure assets. AAHL business is centred around convenience to consumer both via physical and digital channels. To put things into perspective, the first official ‘Indian coffee’ to be available through the brand: Starbucks was introduced in 2013, to celebrate the Tata-Starbucks first anniversary in the market. 
 
Starbucks had created a special India-sourced coffee, called ‘India Estates Blend’, as a tribute but it was sourced, roasted, packaged, and sold only in India. 
 But that was sourced from multiple coffee lots, unlike <keyword id="3694540" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="nullore">Nullore</keyword> Estate coffee which was is a 'Microlot coffee'. A Microlot is a small quantity coffee usually to about 40 bags, from a single estate that has been deliberately set aside from other coffee because it has a high 'cupping score which means better quality.

What makes ‘Block 19’special? 
 
For starters, this Arabica coffee is grown under a unique two-tier shade system under local and fruit bearing trees. 
 
The shade is carefully controlled, which helps the coffee bean mature slowly, allowing it to absorb its environment which gives it the special smell and taste. 
 
 
 
The Taste 
 
The coffee is intensely fragrant and aromatic, with notes of red apple, caramel, citrus, toasted nuts, and milk chocolate. 
This taste and smell is attributed to the flora and fauna that surrounds this 8-hectares estate. 
 
Trees like Ficus, Jackfruit, and Silver Oak surround the coffee plants giving the earthiness to the coffee. 
Block 19 is home to a colony of ‘fruit bats’ and migratory birds which are the main reason behind the coffee’s fruity persona. 
The estate also plays host to the honey bee.

She says that this coffee has opened up opportunities for the quality coffee that India produces now, ‘To nurture every particular bean to reach the best quality, the processing takes up the entire year. From the soil, to the climate to even pesticides, can affect the coffee bean and we took extra care to send out 2 tonnes of the Nullore estate coffee of which each bean was tested for quality before being shipped out to the US," she proudly exclaims.

Tata Motors on Friday launched the CNG variant of its micro SUV <keyword id="5700" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="punch" source="Orion">Punch</keyword> priced between Rs 7.1 lakh and Rs 9.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Altroz iCNG comes in six variants priced between Rs 7.55 lakh and Rs 10.55 lakh (all prices ex-showroom all-India), Tata Motors said in a statement. It is equipped with a twin-cylinder CNG technology and comes with advanced features such as voice-assisted electric sunroof, wireless charger and air purifier, among others. The twin CNG cylinders are located below the luggage area with valves and pipes protected under the load floor thereby minimising the risk of potential damage, the company added. Tata Motors launches CNG version of Altroz; price starts at ₹7.55 lakh

New Delhi, May 4 () Auto stocks on Monday plunged nearly 12 per cent after top carmakers, including Maruti Suzuki reported zero monthly domestic sales for the first time ever in April after the nationwide lockdown halted output and shut sales network. Shares of Tata Motors tanked 12.45 per cent, Motherson Sumi Systems shares plummeted 12.27 per cent, Apollo Tyres 9.45 per cent, Hero MotoCorp 8.34 per cent, Maruti Suzuki India 8 per cent on the BSE. Ashok Leyland tumbled 7.83 per cent, TVS Motor Company 7.16 per cent, Mahindra &amp; Mahindra 6.95 per cent, Bajaj Auto 6.66 per cent and Eicher Motors 6.30 per cent. The BSE Auto index fell by 6.33 per cent in early trade. Maruti Suzuki India, Hyundai Motor India Ltd, Mahindra &amp; Mahindra, Toyota Kirloskar Motor and MG Motor India reported nil sales as they suspended operations even before the imposition of lockdown on March 25, to check the spread of coronavirus. Maruti Suzuki, which produces more than half of the cars running on Indian roads, said it did not sell any vehicle in the domestic market in April. Bajaj Auto dropped 7.12 per cent, Eicher Motors 6.45 per cent, Ashok Leyland tumbled 5.73 per cent, TVS Motor Company 5.20 per cent and Mahindra &amp; Mahindra 2.66 per cent. The BSE Auto index fell by 6.88 per cent. Mumbai, Jun 26 () Small Industries Development Bank of India (Sidbi) on Friday said it has set up a fund to support free onboarding for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) on trade receivables discounting system (TReDS). The free onboarding of MSMEs would be available till September-end, according to a release. The fund, Swavalamban Crisis Responsive Fund, is an open-ended fund and the target is to onboard 10,000 MSMEs during the period, a Sidbi spokesperson said. "The present endeavour aims at offering relief to the MSMEs during these challenging times. We are hopeful that MSMEs shall maximise this opportunity to on board TReDS, thus getting much-needed breather from severely crunched cash flow," Sidbi Chairman and Managing Director Mohammad Mustafa said. Usually, an MSME has to pay a fee of Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 for getting registered on a TReDS platform. The fund would be utilised to offset the cost of joining/registration fee on the TReDS platform, Sidbi said. Three TReDS platforms -- Receivables Exchange of India Ltd (RXIL), M1xchange and Invoicemart -- will help MSMEs gain access to working capital through invoice discounting via multiple financiers. TReDS is an electronic platform where receivables of MSMEs drawn against buyers, including large corporates, public sector undertakings and government departments, are financed through multiple financiers at competitive rates through an auction mechanism. New Delhi, Mar 23 () Auto stocks plunged up to 20 per cent on Monday as companies have suspended their production due to the coronavirus outbreak. Motherson Sumi Systems cracked 20 per cent and Ashok Leyland fell 18 per cent, Maruti Suzuki India (17.02 per cent), Bajaj Auto (13.95 per cent) and Apollo Tyres (13.86 per cent). Shares of TVS Motor Company settled 12.94 per cent down while that of MRF and Eicher Motors dropped 12.34 per cent and 11.87 per cent, respectively, on the BSE. Likewise, Hero MotoCorp declined 11.07 per cent, Tata Motors (9.95 per cent) and M&amp;M (9.06 per cent). The BSE Auto Index tumbled by 13.35 per cent. The country's largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp on Sunday said it has suspended production at all its sites across the globe until March 31, 2020 in order to safeguard its employees against coronavirus infections. On Monday, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) said Suzuki Motor Gujarat has suspended production at its Gujarat-based plant to check the spread of COVID-19. Suzuki Motor Gujarat manufactures cars on contract basis for MSI. The company has been informed by Suzuki Motor Gujarat Pvt Ltd (SMG) that pursuant to Gujarat government directive to check the spread of COVID-19 transmission, they are closing their plant operations with effect from B-shift from March 23 through March 25, 2020, as per a regulatory filing. Mumbai, Feb 26 () All new floating rate loans given to medium enterprises will be linked with external benchmarks from April 1, according to the Reserve Bank of India.With respect to micro and small enterprises, floating rate loans are already linked with external benchmarks.In a circular issued on Wednesday, RBI said it has now been decided that all new floating rate loans to the medium enterprises extended by banks from April 1, 2020, "shall be linked to the external benchmarks".The move is aimed at further strengthening monetary policy transmission so that benefits of reduction in key lending rate (repo) can be passed on to medium enterprises also, the apex bank said.Floating rate personal and retail loans have already been linked to external benchmarks. RBI repo rate, treasury bill yields, and other market interest rate published by FBIL (Financial Benchmark India Private Ltd) are among the benchmarks.According to the RBI, subsequent to the introduction of an external benchmark system, the monetary policy transmission has improved in respect of the sectors where new floating rate loans have been linked to external benchmarks.Since February 2019, the RBI has reduced the repo rate or short term lending rate by 135 basis points. Small rocket maker Agnikul Cosmos Private Ltd is looking at overseas rocket ports to launch its rocket with small satellites apart from the Indian rocket launch centres, said a top company official. <div type="Article" hostid="261" msid="77506716" title="India’s first private player to successfully test a homegrown rocket engine is on track for its first full rocket launch by 2021" mstype="2" mssubtype="0"></div> "Our first preference is to use Indian rocket ports at Sriharikota or the upcoming one at Kulasekarapattinam in Tamil Nadu (both belonging to the Indian Space Research Organisation). If the customer prefers the launch to happen from some other country, we will ship the rocket and launch from there," Srinath Ravichandran, co-founder and CEO Agnikul Cosmos Pvt Ltd, told IANS. In July 2020, Agnikul signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Italian company Leaf Space for ground station services. Ravichandran said the company has signed up with a launch port in South Australia and is exploring four to five launch ports across the world. The company is hopeful of signing a satellite launch contract in 2021 and the debut launch of its rocket 'Agnibaan' is planned for 2022. Towards roping in customers Agnikul has recently signed up with Germany based HOSTmi - a match making platform between satellite owners and satellite launch companies. "HOSTmi is supported by the European Space Agency to make it easy for European customers to have on-demand access to space," Ravichandran said. According to Ravichandran, Agnikul has already signed MoUs with several European customers - Deployables Cube, Alen Space, Innovative Solutions in Space, Nanoavionics A-A to launch their small satellite systems. Speaking about the status of the Agnibaan rocket, he said the upper stage engine has been realised and work is on for realising the first stage engine, which is bigger in size to give the necessary thrust during the initial stages of the rocket's flight. All the engines will be fired by semi-cryogenic fuel or simply put pure kerosene. The rocket height will be 18 metres and it would weigh about 14 tons at lift off and has a carrying capacity of 100 kg to low earth orbit (LEO). "We will be integrating the rocket stages in a horizontal manner. Horizontal integration is not new for the industry. Our workshop is in IIT Madras Research Park. We will be needing additional space," Ravichandran said. While there is no certifying agency for satellite launchers, Ravichandran said the company has asked ISRO to review their engine. "Having now completed multiple engine firings and igniter hot fire tests, we are now gearing up to a full blown semi-cryogenic engine hot fire test in the coming months," he remarked. Agnikul will buy commercially available navigation systems and modify them to its needs. According to Ravichandran, the global micro, nano and small satellite (satellites weighing 1kg to 150kg) launch market is estimated to be about $2-$3 billion per year. About 500 satellites are being launched across the world and the carrying rate is about $40,000 per kg for low earth orbit. Presently, small satellites are carried as piggyback luggage by bigger rockets. Thus, the waiting time for small satellite makers to put their satellites into orbit is very long. While small rocket players may face competition from agencies having bigger rockets in terms of pricing, Ravichandran said the satellite players will have to look at the opportunity cost of waiting for space in a bigger rocket whereas it may not be so with players like Agnikul. He said Agnikul has raised $4 million in two rounds of funding till date.
