Bollywood superstar <keyword id="6357912" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="amitabh-bachchan" source="Orion">Amitabh Bachchan</keyword> said that he sustained an injury during the shooting of his upcoming film, <keyword id="4155889" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="project-k" source="Orion">Project K</keyword>, in <keyword id="6354552" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="hyderabad" source="Orion">Hyderabad</keyword>. Big B took to his blog to share on Sunday that he has broken his rib cartilage and stated that he is currently taking rest at his home in Mumbai. "In Hyderabad at the shoot for Project K, during an action shot, got injured, rib cartilage popped broke and muscle tear to the right rib cage. Cancelled shoot, did doctor consult &amp; scan by CT at AIG Hospital in Hyderabad and flown back home," posted Amitabh Bachchan. He suffered an injury during an action sequence of the film. He, unfortunately, suffered a muscle tear to his right rib cage. "Strapping has been done and rest been advocated .. yes painful .. on movement and breathing .. will take some weeks they say before some normalisation will occur .. some medication is on also for pain .. So all work that was to be done has been suspended and canceled dropped postponed for the moment until healing occurs ..I rest at <keyword id="72038" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="jalsa" source="Orion">Jalsa</keyword> and am mobile a bit for all the essential activities .. but yes in rest and generally lying around ..." Big B wrote. Expressing his anguish the actor added, "It shall be difficult or let me say .. I shall be unable to meet, the well wishers at Jalsa Gate this evening .. so do not come .. and do inform as much as you can to those that intend coming ...All else is well ..." he posted. Helmed by Nag Ashwin, Project K is a bilingual film shot simultaneously in two languages i.e Hindi and Telugu across various locations. Deepika Padukone and Prabhash are playing pivotal roles in the film. In this time of distress, Amitabh Bachchan said he had found solace in his '<keyword id="314387" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="babuji" source="Orion">Babuji</keyword>' words. Remember Mother India? Yes, the same 1957 movie which popular lyricist Javed Akhtar says is the origin of every <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> movie to have come after it. The movie had a Holi song, called Holi Aayi Re Kanhai, in which the whole village beats Birju (Sunil Dutt) black and blue because he allegedly touches a lehenga-choli clad village girl and forcibly plays Holi with her. Turns out, Birju was not even at fault because it was the girl who had been teasing him all along. 
 
Cut to 2013, the year Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in which Naina (Deepika Padukone), sporting hot pants, is seen sipping bhanag, singing a song full of double meaning lyrics, with steps suggesting an alleged ‘bhabhi’ losing it over the jeans-clad man. Don’t even get us started on the steps they use to portray this bhabhi, watch it carefully for yourself the next time you enjoy the video. 
 
That’s how the portrayal of Holi has changed in Bollywood in the past 60 years, and we can’t blame the makers, because cinema is a mirror to the soul, and if that’s how the audience has matured in all these years, it doesn’t make any sense to keep following the same track of ‘coy’ girls and ‘high’ boys.

<keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> is full of trends and traditions that start off as gestures but end up being remarkable traditions in the Hindi Film Industry. 
 Be it Shabana Azmi and Javed Akhtar’s Holi party, the #AskSRK sessions by Shah Rukh Khan on Twitter, or the Sunday gatherings outside Salman Khan’s and <keyword id="6357912" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="amitabh-bachchan">Amitabh Bachchan</keyword>’s residences, these traditions, private or public, tell us how strongly connected Bollywood is, in itself or to the fans. 
 
One such tradition, off late, has stemmed from the humble nature of megastar Amitabh Bachchan. Whenever Big B finds a performance appealing, he writes a letter to the actor and sends him or her bouquets. 
 
Getting appreciation from none other than someone who is an institution of acting in himself is surely something to be proud of, which is why the whole young brigade of Bollywood secretly aspires to get this letter from Mr. Bachchan. 
 While in the past we have seen <keyword id="598" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Deepika-Padukone">Deepika Padukone</keyword>, <keyword id="106133" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ranveer-Singh">Ranveer Singh</keyword>, <keyword id="6354535" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ayushmann-Khurrana">Ayushmann Khurrana</keyword> and <keyword id="6363098" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Richa-Chadha">Richa Chadha</keyword> getting such letters, it was the turn of Kangna Ranaut, who is busy collecting rave reviews for her performance as both Tanu and Datto in the recent release <keyword id="2600630" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tanu-Weds-Manu-Returns">Tanu Weds Manu Returns</keyword>. 
 
What makes her even happier is that this is not the first time that Kangna has received this appreciation letter from Mr. Bachchan. She had got one for the 2014 movie Queen as well, in which her performance also earned her a National Award. 
 
In a candid chat with the Times of India, the actress shared her delight of getting not one but two letters and bouquets this time, for playing both Tanu and Datto. Below is an excerpt from the interview: "Mr Bachchan sent me a letter for Queen too, but that was written in English and that too, the level of English that he himself speaks, which is high end. This time, he has written a poem and that too in Hindi, so I could read it out as is to my parents as they understand only Hindi. I felt like his two letters were my two medals. I am going to frame these and keep them for life as my memory. For my parents who are not artistes and don't understand performance, this is their proof that I have performed. Mr Bachchan has written about the minutest of details of my performance which makes it so fulfilling for an artiste, coming from a legend like him. This time he has sent me not just one, but two letters and bouquets, one for Tanu and the other for Datto. He wrote, 'It happens very rarely that our eyes fill up watching a performance. You made me cry'. He said for Datto, 'For the girl who is Tanu's lookalike called Datto, I don't know her but please extend my warm wishes to her.' What broke me down reading his letters was when he wrote, 'Main apne aap ko bhagyashali samajhta hoon, ki main uss udyog se juda hoon, jisme Kangana basti hai' (I feel fortunate to be a part of an industry in which Kangana is a part). Being an outsider, I was ridiculed for the longest time with people openly making fun of me. But the flowers Mr Bachchan sent have not just filled up my room, they have left me overwhelmed." 
 
Well, all we can say is that the other actors from the young brigade need to pull up their socks if they want to have this appreciation letter from Mr. Bachchan, who is an idol for many.

The invitees to the consecration ceremony at the <keyword id="41267" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ram-temple" source="Orion">Ram temple</keyword> continued to arrive at the temple town on Monday morning with locals and devotees gathering on both sides of the road waving saffron flags and dancing to the tunes of songs dedicated to Lord Ram. Religious fervour gripped <keyword id="6354931" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ayodhya" source="Orion">Ayodhya</keyword> with biting cold failing to dampen the spirits of those who have flocked here to witness the historic moment. The holy town is all set to welcome Lord Ram with Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to participate in the consecration ceremony. The invitees who arrived early this morning included RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Anupam Kher, Kailash Kher, Jubin Nautiyal, Prasson Joshi, Manoj Joshi, <keyword id="19919207" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="sachin-tendulkar" source="keywords">Sachin Tendulkar</keyword>, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, <keyword id="20284870" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ravishankar-prasad" source="keywords">Ravishankar Prasad</keyword> and Anil Ambani. Hema Malini, Kangana Ranaut, <keyword id="20284869" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="sr-sri-ravishankar" source="keywords">Sr Sri Ravishankar</keyword>, Morari Bapu, Rajnikant, Pavan Kalyan. Madhur Bhandarkar, Subhash Ghai, Shefali Shah and Sonu Nigam arrived in Ayodhya on Sunday. 'Ram dhun' played in the streets from early morning, as security personnel kept a tight vigil across the Ayodhya districts. The 'Pran Pratishtha' of the idol of <keyword id="19904197" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ram-lalla" source="keywords">Ram Lalla</keyword> -- the childhood form of Lord Ram -- will be attended by people from all walks of life, including representatives of major spiritual and religious sects of the country and of various tribal communities and prominent personalities. According to temple trust, all invitees will have a bell which they will ring during the aarti. Army helicopters were shower flower petals during the aarti. The ceremony will begin at 12:20 pm, and according to the temple trust, it is expected to end by 1 pm. Following this, the prime minister will address the gathering. "The prime minister will also interact with 'shramjeevis' associated with the construction of the temple," a member of the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, which is in charge of the construction and management of the Ram temple, said. Modi will also visit Kuber Tila, where an ancient Shiv temple has been restored. He will perform a 'pooja' there, the member said. The magnificent Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir has been constructed in the traditional Nagara style. Its length (east-west) is 380 feet, width 250 feet and height 161 feet. It is supported by 392 pillars and has 44 doors. The pillars and walls of the temple showcase intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods and goddesses. The idol of Ram Lalla has been placed in the sanctum sanctorum on the temple's ground floor. The consecration rituals for the 'Pran Pratishtha' started from the Saryu river on January 16 and will be completed on Monday afternoon on the 'Abhijeet Muhurta', according to the trust. Lakhs of people are expected to watch the event live on TV and online platforms as the Central government has announced a half-day off on January 22 and many states followed suit. Temples across the country have announced special festivities on the occasion. From Washington DC to Paris to Sydney, events have been also planned in various parts of the world by either the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) or Hindu diaspora groups. Fourteen couples from various parts of India will be the 'yajmaans' (hosts) for the 'Pran Pratishtha' of the new 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla. The idol was sculpted by Mysuru-based Arun Yogiraj and was placed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple last Thursday. The Ram temple has been decorated with "rich stocks" of flowers and special lights and the entire city is drenched in religious fervour. Streetlights on flyovers have been decorated with artwork depicting Lord Ram as well as cutouts of bow and arrow, and ornamental lampposts carry designs themed on the traditional "<keyword id="20268635" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="ramanandi-tilak" source="keywords">Ramanandi tilak</keyword>". A multi-layer security cover is in place in Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony, with 10,000 CCTV cameras and drones equipped with artificial intelligence keeping an eye on the movement of people. Police personnel in plain clothes have been deployed at the venue. Movable barriers with barbed wires attached to them can be spotted at every prominent crossroads in the temple town, as police use them to regulate traffic, especially during VVIP movements. Multiple NDRF teams trained to tackle chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear attacks, drowning incidents and disasters like earthquakes have also been deployed. While more than 7,000 people are on the list of invitees for the event, the select list features 506 A-listers. Business tycoons Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani are among the prominent people invited to the event. Those attending the "Pran Prathishtha" also include people linked to the Ram Janmabhoomi agitation. Almost all opposition leaders invited to the ceremony have declined to be in attendance, with the Congress calling it a "BJP-RSS event". Prime minister <keyword id="6354477" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="narendra-modi" source="Orion">Narendra Modi</keyword> on Monday claimed that for several decades after Independence, there was a lack of an integrated approach and long-term vision in the health sector. We have not kept healthcare restricted only to the health ministry, but have emphasised the whole of the government approach," he said while addressing a webinar on "<keyword id="16710281" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="health-and-medical-research" source="Orion">Health and Medical Research</keyword>". It has been the endeavour of the Centre, to make medical treatment affordable in <keyword id="3658" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="india" source="Orion">India</keyword>, the Prime Minister added. "That has been the thought behind providing free medical treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. Under this, approximately Rs 80,000 crore, that would've been spent on medical treatments, were saved," he said further. For serious diseases, quality and modern health infrastructure in the country are important, the PM said. The government's focus is also on ensuring that people get testing facilities near their homes and there are better facilities for first aid, he added. For this, he said, 1.5 lakh health and wellness centres are being prepared in the country, the prime minister informed. Referring to the <keyword id="1754604" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="coronavirus" source="Orion">Coronavirus</keyword> pandemic, the Prime Minister said that it showed that when such a crisis occurs, even developed systems of prosperous nations collapse. "World is now much more focussed on health. But India's approach is not restricted to healthcare, we're also working on ensuring wellness," he added. "<keyword id="224944" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="corona" source="Orion">Corona</keyword> also taught us that supply chain has become a very important matter. When the pandemic was at its peak, for some countries even life-saving things like medicines, vaccines, and medical devices had become weapons," the Prime Minister noted. Reminding the audience that India helped many nations by providing vaccines to them, he said, "That's why we have kept a vision before the world - 'One Earth, One Health' - holistic healthcare for everyone." Looks like the prayers have been answered, because if reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman are all set to star together in a movie. 
 Yes you read it right! The holy trinity of Bollywood is reportedly coming together for a movie to be made by producer <keyword id="27326" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sajid-Nadiadwala">Sajid Nadiadwala</keyword>, who is also likely to direct the movie. 
 Director <keyword id="3783" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Farah-Khan">Farah Khan</keyword>, who shares a close bond with all three Khans had once said that even God can’t bring the three Khans together; she had tried to do so for the title song of her movie Om Shanti Om but failed, as the song didn’t see Aamir Khan. 
However, the impossible seems to have been made possible by Sajid Nadiadwala, who would be bringing them together for a movie to be released in 2017. 
 
"Sajid has decided to produce a film which will star the three Khan superstars. He may even direct the film himself, though that would depend entirely on the nature of the subject. The film will go on the floors in January 2017 and release in December 2017," a source close to Sajid was reported saying. 
 
If you are already busy thinking about the nature of the movie that would see these three big shots together, the project would most likely be based on Manmohan Desai’s hit movie Amar Akbar Anthony. The movie had an impressive star cast, with all three actors Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan being at certain peaks in their careers, but Desai managed to create equal space for all three of them, which is a demand even now. All three Khans have huge fan followings and lesser screen space as compared to the other two would not go down too well with any of these fan-bases. 
 
Given that all three stars are busy in their ongoing projects, Nadiadwala has chosen 2017 to be the year that the movie goes on floors, so that dates are not an issue. 
 
While Shah Rukh and Salman have starred together in three movies – Karan Arjun, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Salman and Aamir came together for the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna.
