 The financial daily has learnt about the fact from an <keyword id="2871350" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Oriental-Insurance-executive">Oriental Insurance executive</keyword>. 
 "This is the highest cover taken by a Bollywood star," the <keyword id="6420527" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="executive">executive</keyword> told the ET on condition of anonymity. Unlike Kumar, Bollywood's highest-paid actors, <keyword id="6357753" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="shahrukh-khan">Shahrukh Khan</keyword> and <keyword id="6355923" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Aamir-Khan">Aamir Khan</keyword>, do not generally seek accident covers in their film contracts. Production houses take a cover of Rs 5-10 lakh for every member of the crew to cover medical expenses towards any shoot-related accident. 
 While accident insurances of movie stars are quite popular in the Hollywood, it’s Indian counterpart is yet to catch on the trend. Some years ago, actress <keyword id="14640" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kangna-Ranaut">Kangna Ranaut</keyword> is said to have included a personal accident clause with a Rs 1-crore cover in her contract for '<keyword id="6377522" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="queen">Queen</keyword>'. Kumar's recent hits include 'Rowdy Rathore', 'Baby', 'Khiladi 786' and 'Special 26', which feature him in action-oriented roles. Set for release next year, it's already set a record in insurance cover for an Indian movie— Rs 330 crore, surpassing Rs 300 crore for <keyword id="6396827" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="PK">PK</keyword> (2014), starring <keyword id="6355923" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Aamir-Khan">Aamir Khan</keyword>, said two people involved in writing the policy. 
 
State-run New India Assurance, Oriental Insurance and United India Insurance will underwrite the production, they said. When the film goes into the cinema halls, total insurance amount will double— distribution cover will equal that on production, they said. 
 
Remuneration for the top four stars of film, which is being made in Tamil and possibly other languages, is also among the highest at Rs 150 crore. Apart from the Tamil star, they include Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson, who takes over from Aishwarya Rai, who was the heroine of Enthiran. S Shankar will direct again. 
 
"This is the highest ever insured movie after Aamir Khan starrer PK and Salman Khan's Kick," said Sumant Salian, business head, media and entertainment, Alliance Insurance Brokers. "Insurance cover for Robot 2 would double when the movie is ready and it goes for distribution."

Baahubali, a two-part film in Telugu and other languages written and directed by SS Rajamouli, had production insurance cover of Rs 200 crore. Director and producer Subhash Ghai was the first to buy insurance cover for his film Taal, which was released in 1999.

Minimum 2 meters distance between colleagues to be maintained. </li><li>Crew, artists &amp; participants will be called at-least 45 mins prior to shoot to ensure thorough implementation of safety precautions. </li><li>It is advisable to give priority to portable chairs over standard benches. </li><li>If possible, provide arrangement for bathing.</li><li>Monthly swab tests, microbiology labs to check the sanitization of studio, sets and office. </li><li>Encourage a work-from-home strategy where possible. </li><li>Crew above the age of 60 years should be avoided at least for three months from the date of shooting as and when it starts and cast above the age of 60 years should be judicially used.</li><li>Count with 4 masks per 1 crew member over the 12-hour long shoot day. </li><li>Auditions will be carried out online. </li><li>Use shoe covers when accessing an indoor location.</li><li>No extra person will be allowed with the Artist except for their Hair and Make-up in the vanity van. </li><li>Staff members may be ideally advised to carry home prepared food. </li><li>All on set crew must wear colored bands which can help identify their roles</li></ul>The coronavirus pandemic has forced the film industry to lose as much as $130 million box office revenue.
