The Bollywood actor, who started his career in 1991 Phool aur Kaante, plans to invest as much as ₹600 crore (approx $87 million) to bring old-world charm of watching movies with unique concept theatres. Speaking about the NY Cinema, Rajeev Sharma, CEO told Business Insider India that people don’t spend much time in cinemas nowadays. “We go to the cinema, watch the movie, and come back right after it ends. Ajay is very fond of cinema-going experience and wants to offer the same to people of every age group.” Sharma believes that there are a few movies which will force us to step out of the house and go to the cinema. “We cannot watch an X-men or an Avengers movie at home. "In nominating him to this position, the President has made an inspired choice," Indiaspora founder and chairman M R Rangaswami said after the White House announcement. Especially relevant, given recent commentary around the Bank's mission and objectives, is that Banga brings a sharp focus on climate resiliency and environmental sustainability, said Rangaswami, a venture capitalist and philanthropist from Silicon Valley. Banga's deep expertise and several years of experience in the fields of financial inclusion, public-private partnerships, and climate finance make him a phenomenal leader to head the multilateral institution, US India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF) said. The counting of <keyword id="42957" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="votes">votes</keyword> for the by-election to the Damoh Assembly constituency of Madhya Pradesh is underway with <keyword id="1575" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Congress">Congress</keyword> candidate <keyword id="1846485" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ajay-Tandon">Ajay Tandon</keyword> having a clear lead over the <keyword id="58687" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bharatiya-Janata-Party">Bharatiya Janata Party</keyword> (<keyword id="14666" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="BJP">BJP</keyword>) nominee Rahul Lodhi. Voting was held on April 17 for the by-election to the Damoh Assembly constituency and counting is underway at <keyword id="293781" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Polytechnic-College">Polytechnic College</keyword>. Congress candidate Ajay Tandon is leading by 1,815 votes. The counting is taking place in three rooms with the postal ballots being counted in a separate room. According to the Election Officer, there are five tables each in two rooms and four tables in the third room. The counting of votes is taking place in room numbers seven, five and four of the Polytechnic College and postal ballots are being counted in room number three. The voting percentagreported on April 17 was nearly 60 per cent which was 15 per cent less than in the previous poll for the seat.
