The customer will receive the cashback in two parts - the first instalment of ₹2,000 after 18 months and the remaining ₹4,000 after 36 months. If a customer opts for a device priced ₹6,000, they will enjoy generous data quotas and unlimited calling benefits with every Airtel repaid recharge to unlock a superior smartphone experience. At the end of 36 months, with an attractive cashback benefit of ₹6000, the customer gets back her entire investment in the device while being able to stay digitally connected. Customers opting for this programme will also get one time free screen replacement by Servify in case of damage. Once a customer is on an eligible recharge pack, the screen replacement enrolment can be done on Airtel Thanks App within 90 days period. How to use Google Search to get maximum cashback on mobile recharges

New Delhi, Apr 17 () Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea have extended the validity of pre-paid mobile plans till May 3 for those users who could not recharge their account due to the lockdown imposed to contain Covid-19 spread. The extension in validity altogether benefits around 12 crore customers. It will enable customers to continue getting incoming calls even if they are unable to recharge their account till May 3. Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea had earlier extended validity till April 17 of pre-paid account holders."Many of these customers have been able to recharge through several channels activated by Airtel including - ATMs, post offices, grocery stores and chemist shops, in addition to digital channels. However, close to 30 million (3 crore) such customers have still not been able to recharge their pre-paid mobile accounts," Bharti Airtel said in a statement.The government announced nationwide lockdown starting March 24 till April 14. It has been further extended till May 3. Both Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea offer cashback or commission to their customers who recharge pre-paid account of subscriber on their network through apps of the respective companies. Vodafone Idea said free of cost extension of incoming service validity will enable millions of feature phone users of both Vodafone and Idea to continue to receive incoming calls, even if the validity of their plan expires earlier. "In order to ensure that consumers stay connected during this extended lock down, we are extending the incoming service validity of 90 million consumers till May 3," Vodafone Idea marketing director Avneesh Khosla said. Vodafone-Idea still no breakthrough? The Indian market was set to see an overhaul after two of India’s telecom giants <keyword id="15492" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Vodafone">Vodafone</keyword> and <keyword id="41511" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="idea">Idea</keyword> merging businesses in July 2018. However, although the new entity (Vodafone-Idea) still holds a majority of the market share, it saw a slide in addition of new consumers in October. The TRAI report states that the combined entity lost 6.5 million subscribers between September and October. Two years on, Reliance Jio continues to dominate Indian telecom market, beating global giants

If you’re an airtel user with the operator’s app in your phone, you can avail the value for money offers. Designed for the prepaid customers, Airtel announced that customers can download or update their My Airtel app and choose from a range of deals including talktime benefits, extra internand cashback offers. 
 
 In a press statement, the operator has said, My Airtel app has been designed to follow an intuitive and easy to use interface which allows customers to conveniently discover access and self-manage Airtel services across mobile, fixed line and DTH platforms. 
 
Airtel’s last launch, Airtel Zero promising to super-fast a few portals and apps while slowing others, had caused a tremendous furore amongst people of the country and demanding net neutrality across all platforms.

Airtel has goodies for its app users​

<keyword id="6357120" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="PayTM">Paytm</keyword>, the mobile payments and commerce firm headquartered in Noida is looking at the coming year with hopeful eyes. As per reports, it is expecting its 110 million wallet users to add about $500 million in their wallets in 2016, which means a tenfold rise from 2015. 
 "In 2015, we saw wallets become mainstream. Next year, as more and more businesses push marketing dollar spends to cashbacks and wallets, the recharge value and frequency will steadily increase," Paytm founder <keyword id="198636" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Vijay-Shekhar-Sharma">Vijay Shekhar Sharma</keyword> told ET. 
 
This projected figure doesn’t count cashbacks that the company offers its customers when they do e-commerce transactions via Paytm. 
Sharma is expecting to see startups offering a lot of extras including loans and insurances built on top of wallets next year, which would help them competing with credit cards, if not replacing them. 
 
As per existing norms set by the RBI, Paytm has to restrict its customers to Rs 10,000 wallet recharge per month on a mobile number and email ID verification. In order to do transactions above this amount, customers need to adhere to full Know Your Customer (KYC) norms, the process of which is like opening a bank account. 
 Paytm, which was started in 2010, is backed by China's giant <keyword id="163405" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Alibaba-Group">Alibaba Group</keyword> and affiliate <keyword id="2702533" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Ant-Financial">Ant Financial</keyword>, and faces competition from <keyword id="143842" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Mobikwik">MobiKwik</keyword>, <keyword id="6377963" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Freecharge">FreeCharge</keyword>, <keyword id="545632" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Airtel-Money">Airtel Money</keyword> and <keyword id="1493568" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="PayU">PayU</keyword>, all big names in the e-wallet business.
