Difference of opinions has led to three members of the <keyword id="6356383" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="JNU">JNU</keyword> unit of <keyword id="106559" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Akhil-Bharatiya-Vidyarthi-Parishad">Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad</keyword> (<keyword id="6361618" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="ABVP">ABVP</keyword>) resigning from the student council. 
 
These differences have come in light after the recent JNU incident that has attracted attention from scholars worldwide. The names of these members are Pradeep, who was the joint secretary of ABVP-JNU, Rahul Yadav, the president and Ankit Hans, the secretary of ABVP's unit in the School of Social Sciences. 
 
All three of them have expressed their grief over the way the central government has handled the Rohith Vemula incident. 
 The trio has objected to the government's handling of the recent incident in which JNU student union president <keyword id="3048656" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kanhaiya-Kumar">Kanhaiya Kumar</keyword> was arrested following some anti-India slogans that were raised in a meeting that he was headed. 
 
"Whosoever responsible for the act must be punished as per the law but the way NDA government [is] tackling the whole issue, the oppression on professors, repeated lawyer attacks on media and Kanhaiya Kumar on court premises is unjustifiable and we think there is a difference between interrogation and crushing ideology and branding entire Left as "anti-national," said the statement. 
 
The three students maintained "veiled persons" had "shouted slogans Bharat tere tukadde honge" at the "event organized by former DSU persons" but did not mention any name. They not only condemned the sloganeering, but also the "media trial which has culminated in anti-JNU sentiments throughout the country." 
 
"We can't be the mouthpiece of such a government which has unleashed oppression on the student community." They have also slammed BJP MLA O P Sharma's action, equating it with "right-wing fascist forces". "Every day we see people assembling at the front gate with Indian flag to beat JNU students, well this is hooliganism not nationalism, you can't do anything in the name of nation, there is a difference between nationalism and hooliganism," the statement said.

Three ABVP-JNU members resign citing difference of opinions

An otherwise peaceful campus has been marred by protests for the past week as several angry PhD and MTech students of <keyword id="666989" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="IIT-Indore">IIT Indore</keyword> are raising their voice against exorbitant hike in fees. 
 
Their reaction comes after the premier institute’s administration sent an email to students asking them to pay fee as per increased structure. It sparked outrage when students learnt that the tuition fee was increased from Rs 8,350 to Rs 19,900, almost a 130% hike in fees- highest being charged by any IIT in the country. The Reason – Because IIT Indore had increased the fellowship amount. 
 
Enraged students then took to Twitter to highlight what they called was an unfair step by IIT-Indore, as they had joined the institute much before the hike was enforced and claimed they had no reasons to pay higher fees to the institute. Following the incident, several students claimed to have been harassed by top management officials. 
 
When their demand to rollback the hike fell on deaf ears, students decided to boycott classes and resort to sloganeering. 
 The protesting students are also now being backed by <keyword id="6361618" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="ABVP">ABVP</keyword> – BJP’s youth wing. Efforts have been made to reach out to MHRD officials and Union HRD minister <keyword id="119642" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Prakash-Javadekar">Prakash Javadekar</keyword>, however, students claim they have got no response whatsoever. Even as no breakthrough has come in the case so far, they are now threatening to organize protests on a much larger scale if the institute fails to concede to their demands.

These #JNUsticeLeague superheroes will help India from free speech, question ideologies

Student unions of various parties have said that all sections of society should wait for completion of the <keyword id="6356383" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="JNU">JNU</keyword> inquiry before doing the "character assassination" of the university. This, however, doesn’t mean that they support the anti-national slogans that were raised in the university campus. 
 These unions have asked for the release of JNUSU President <keyword id="3048656" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kanhaiya-Kumar">Kanhaiya Kumar</keyword> and withdrawal of "false charges" against all the university students. 
 These demands have come in a joint press conference released by leaders from All India Students' Association (<keyword id="202881" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Aisa">AISA</keyword>) of CPI(ML), All India Students Federation (<keyword id="340585" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="AISF">AISF</keyword>) of CPI, National Students' Union of India (<keyword id="6372948" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="NSUI">NSUI</keyword>) of Congress, Students Federation of India (<keyword id="6373398" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="SFI">SFI</keyword>) of CPI(M) and Student Forum For Swaraj (<keyword id="951603" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="SFS">SFS</keyword>). 
 They also denounced the assault on Left activists, JNU teachers, students and media that was done on February 15 in Patiala court. These attacks were cited as <keyword id="42498" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="RSS">RSS</keyword> and BJP’s attempts to "spread a reign of terror against differing voices". 
 
"We condemn the anti-national slogans that were raised during the event but who did that is a matter of investigation. Let the inquiry takes it course. Do not character assassinate the entire university by branding it as anti-national," SFI general secretary Vikram Singh said. 
 
"If the entire University is anti-national, then its alumini including Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar, CBI Director Anil Sinha and BJP leader Nirmala Sitharaman are also anti-national," NSUI leader Kumar Raja said. 
 
"Slogans cannot be used as an excuse to crackdown on JNU. We demand the immediate and unconditional release of JNUSU President Kanhaiya and the immediate withdrawal of false charges on all JNU students," they said in a joint statement. 
 
The "ongoing assault on JNU is part of a long process by the Modi government to destroy our best educational institutions," the released added. "We are seeing a pattern wherein the Modi government actively intervenes to shove the RSS-BJP agenda down the throats" of the insitutions," they claimed.

Student unions asks people to wait for the inquiry results before assassinating JNU’s character

The protests and counter protests at the Jawaharlal Nehru University are refusing to die out. What started as an event to mark the death anniversary of 2001 Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru, by alleged students of the University, at the campus has snowballed into a gigantic political controversy, resulting in detentions under sedition charges, assault on journalists amongst other things etc. 
 
Here is the timeline of what happened at the JNU campus: 
 
- Alleged students of the JNU had organised an event to protest against judicial hanging of Afzal Guru in 2013 and also to express solidarity with Kashmiri migrants. 
 
- Posters were put up at the Sabarmati dhaba of JNU campus about the same. Also, a programme-‘A country without a post office — against the judicial killing of Afzal Guru and Maqbool Bhatt’-was supposed to take off. 
 
- This didn’t go down well with ABVP members, who protested against the event, demanding expulsion of the organisers. 
 
- A disciplinary enquiry was taken up by the university administration. The administration claimed the organisers went ahead with the event without permission. 
 
- A protest march was also carried out and ABVP members accused JNU students of shouting anti-India slogans. A video also appeared in which students were heard shouting slogans like ‘Kashmir ki azadi se, bharat ki barbadi tak, jangh rahegi jari’. 
 
- Now, ABVP members and JNU students are at loggerheads. In the face-off, JNU students say they did not shout any anti-national slogans. 
 
- A sedition case against unknown students was registered at Vasant Kunj (North) police station and the university also barred eight students from academic activity pending an enquiry. 
 
- JNU Students Union president Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested on sedition charges and ordered to three-day police custody. 
 
- Students of JNU gave a shutdown call and #JNUShutdown started trending everywhere, demanding Kumar’s release. JNU teachers also joined the students in boycotting classes. 
 
- On February 14, the Patiala House saw violence as a mob, wearing lawyer’s robe, slapped and kicked supporters of Kanhaiya Kumar. Journalists and students bore the brunt of the violence. 
 - Over 400 journalists had taken out a procession after mediapersons were attacked by lawyers at the <keyword id="286287" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Patiala-court">Patiala Court</keyword>. The Supreme Court had slammed unruly behaviour of the lawyers and ordered that both the clients and media persons should be given security in the premises of the courts. 
 
 
 
- On February 17 also, violence was witnessed outside Patiala House Court when two groups of lawyers clashed with each other. Pro-India slogans were raised by lawyers who called themselves 'deshbhakts' and referred to those stopping them as 'deshdrohi'. 
 
- The group of lawyers that attacked journalists said that they cannot be termed 'goons'. Lawyers were heard chanting ‘Vande Mataram’. The Supreme Court was also informed that Kanhaiya Kumar was attacked in the court premises. 
 
- Some reports of stone-pelting at the Patiala House court also surfaced. 
 
- SC restricted the number reporters to five and two supporters of arrested students for the hearing. 
 
- Kanhaiya Kumar has been sent to judicial custody till March 02. Before his hearing, journalists were yet again attacked in the scuffle between two lawyer groups. 
 
- Doctor has been called to provide medical aid to Kanhaiya. 
 
- Kumar has maintained that he did not shout any anti-national slogans and few outsiders were involved in raising anti-India slogans.

His name was announced by outgoing Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat after the BJP's Legislative Party meeting in Dehradun on Wednesday. Tirath Singh Rawat has also served as BJP state unit chief from 2013 to 2015. In his student days he was associated with ABVP. While working with the RSS he worked his way up the ladder in the BJP. In 1997, he became a member of the Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Parishad, and have served as a state minister. A BJP leader said that along with Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', MPs -- Ajay Bhatt, Mala Rajya Lakshmi and Naresh Bansal were present in the legislative party meeting. The meeting was called to elect the new Chief Minister after Trivendra Singh Rawat resigned on Tuesday following direction of the party's central leadership after MLAs questioned his style of functioning and there was a political upheaval in the state. Former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh announces Tirath Singh Rawat as new CM

New Delhi, Jan 6 () Top industrialists Anand Mahindra, Harsh Mariwala and Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw have condemned violence at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on Sunday night, saying such acts cannot be tolerated and the perpetrators must be hunted down swiftly.
Speaking up against the violence, Marico Ltd Chairman Harsh Mariwala tweeted, "Coming from the land of non-violence, it's unbecoming of us to witness and encourage these acts of violence. Extremely hurt seeing last evening's news".
Expressing similar views, in a tweet late last evening Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra said, "It doesn't matter what your politics are. It doesn't matter what your ideology is. It doesn't matter what your faith is. If you're an Indian, you cannot tolerate armed, lawless goons. Those who invaded JNU tonight must be traced &amp; hunted down swiftly &amp; given no quarter..."
Likewise, reacting to a video of an injured student who claimed she was beaten up, Biocon CMD Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw tweeted, "This is unpardonable. Violence cannot be condoned".
Violence broke out at JNU on Sunday night as a group of masked people armed with sticks attacked students and teachers and damaged property on the campus, prompting the administration to call in the police.
RPG Enterprises Chairman drew parallels between India and Australia, saying India is caught in "religious bushfires".
"Hearing me pray for Australia, for its people, for its 500 million animals that have died since the #bushfires, my little one asked why are you not praying for India where there are religious bushfires lit all over the country and students being attacked mercilessly?" Goenka wrote on his Twitter handle.
Rajan Anandan, former head of Google India, who now is associated with venture capital fund Sequoia, also retweeted Mahindra's tweet.
Many sustained injuries and were admitted to AIIMS Trauma Centre here. They were discharged on Monday. JNU Students' Union president Aishe Ghosh suffered a head injury.

Industry leaders condemn JNU violence, seek swift arrest of perpetrators

He has retained charge of Road, Transport &amp; Highways ministry and will also now look at micro,medium and small enterprises. As the minister for roads and highways, Gadkari was instrumental in an explosion in construction and operation of bridges, flyovers and expressways in Narendra Mod's first term as Prime Minister. He also played a significant role in the implementation of the rural roads project, the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. He also had Shipping &amp; Inland Waterways Ministry, which has now been given to Mansukh Lal Mandaviya, who is a minister of state with independent charge. Mandaviya will also look at Fertiliser Ministry. All of this gave the Modi government much bragging rights while seeking votes in the 2019 election. "Investors like continuity upto a point because it means certainty. However, I think the broad consensus in the business community, not only we would like to see continuity, we also want to see more progress on reforms," a long-time India watcher and political analyst, Alastair Newton, Co-founder &amp; Director, Alavan Business Advisory, told Business Insider on May 24. As a result, they’re being forced to leave their colleges and return home out of fear for their lives. On Sunday, 20 female Kashmiri students were forced to barricade themselves in a hostel in Dehradun, the state capital of Uttarakhand, as a mob raged outside. The mob reportedly claimed that the students had declared pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans - a claim <a href="https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/india/kashmiri-students-staying-outside-jk-face-backlash/articleshow/68040425.cms">they denied</a>. There were also reports of Kashmiri students in Punjab, <a href="https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/facing-threats-abuses-kashmiri-students-return-to-valley/article26297585.ece">Haryana and Maharashtra</a> being assaulted as police forces received distress calls in these states. Some students were also booked for reportedly “celebrating” the attack on social media. Meanwhile, at Aligarh Muslim University, Kashmiri students have been issued directions to “not leave campus”. To make matters worse, two colleges in Dehradun even issued a decree temporarily <a href="https://indianexpress.com/article/india/in-dehradun-two-colleges-say-wont-admit-kashmiris-5588503/">banning the admission of students</a> from Jammu &amp; Kashmir, citing safety concerns amid aggressive protests from student unions allied with the <keyword id="42498" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="RSS">RSS</keyword> like the ABVP, VHP and <keyword id="6365937" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="bajrang-dal">Bajrang Dal</keyword>. In fact, in order to placate the student mob, which numbered in the hundreds, the head of the Baba Farid Institute of Technology, Dr Aslam Siddiqui, said that any students engaging in “anti-national” activities would be expelled and that no Kashmiri students would be admitted in the next academic session. The same stance was taken by S K Chauhan, the head of Dehradun’s Alpine College of Management and Technology. The day before, on Saturday, the Delhi Commission for Minorities, a minority rights panel, reportedly said that the local protests in the wake of the Pulwama attack were being co-opted by Hindutva groups <a href="https://thewire.in/communalism/minorities-panel-says-hindutva-groups-using-pulwama-to-target-muslims-kashmiris">to target Kashmiris and Muslims</a>. In response to these attacks, the Jammu &amp; Kashmir government has <a href="https://www.ndtv.com/india-news/jammu-and-kashmir-government-asks-liaison-officers-to-ensure-students-safety-1995057">directed its liaison officers</a>, which are stationed throughout the country, to work with local authorities to ensure the safety of Kashmiri students. Kashmiri students bear the brunt of post-Pulwama backlash

<keyword id="6355111" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sushma-Swaraj">Sushma Swaraj</keyword> had a very long political career. She came to the peak of her fame when she served the <keyword id="6354477" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Narendra-Modi">Narendra Modi</keyword> government 2014 as the External Affairs Minister. Gave a strict opposition to Sonia Gandhi in 1999 In just 12 days of her campaign against Sonia Gandhi, Sushma managed to get 358,000 votes in the Bellary Constituency of Karnataka. Sushma lost only with a small margin of 7% votes. This was her popularity among the masses. An outstanding parliamentarian She was the first female to bag the award of ‘Outstanding parliamentarian’ in 2004. She was elected as an MP for seven times and as the member of legislative assembly for 3 times. The second woman to become the External Affairs Minister When she became the External Affairs Minister in 2014 Modi government, she was the second one to assume the office after Indira Gandhi. After serving from this position for five years, she took back from contesting in the election on health grounds during 2019 Lok Sabha elections. The closing day tweet On the last day of her life on the earth, she tweeted, “Thank You Prime Minister. Thank you very much. I was waiting to see this day in my lifetime”, registering her happiness over the successful passing of the bill that split Jammu and Kashmir into two Union Territories. A highly venerated politician passes away When she passed away due to cardiac arrest on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, she was heralded as the most charismatic leader and many people tweeted she will be remembered forever in the pages of the nation’s history for the commendable work she had accomplished for the country and the BJP party. Narendra Modi praises her political life Praising her talents and contribution as a minister, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted on her death, “An excellent administrator, Sushma Ji set high standards in every ministry she handled. She played a key role in bettering India’s ties with various nations. As a minister, we also saw her compassionate side, helping fellow Indians who were in distress in any part of the world.”

There has not been much of a breakthrough in JNU research scholar's case, who was found dead on Monday. The Delhi Police have so far only revealed that it appears to be a suicide case, and they have no indication of any foul play in this incident. 
 
The reason for taking this extreme step, however, is yet to be known as a suicide note was not found. However, cops said the boy was depressed over personal issues for some time. 
 27-year-old J. <keyword id="4295877" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Muthukrishnan">Muthukrishnan</keyword> ended his life at his friend's room in the University campus. His body was found hanging after two friends broke open the door at 5 pm. He had gone to the friend’s house in the afternoon to have food. He said he wanted to sleep and went to a room and locked himself inside. Later, on getting no response, his friends called the police. 
 “A call was received at 5:05pm on Monday that a person had locked himself in a room at a house in Munirka,” a senior police official said. When cops reached to the spot found <keyword id="23678" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Krish">Krish</keyword> (as Muthukrishnan was called by friends) hanging from the ceiling fan. 
 The case is being seen as the second <keyword id="1725862" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rohith">Rohith</keyword> Vermula death incident. Muthukrishnan too belonged to the Scheduled Caste and was an active member of the justice for <keyword id="3210782" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Rohith-Vemula">Rohith Vemula</keyword> movement. He was pursuing MPhil in JNU and was a native of Salem in Tamil Nadu. Muthukrishnan was an active student in all Dalit movements. In his blog titled "a universal mother without a nation", he elaborated how he met Rohith six times before he took the extreme step on January 17, 2016. "All the intellectuals from the marginalised communities will get arrested just for mocking fictional characters. At the same time, all the leading national institutes will be headed by people who cannot even clear the 10th standard exam. These people claim dissenters as anti-nationals and seditious. They are going to kill many Rohiths, like us, just for eating beef, for being rational, for being intellectually productive for the country. But we are the real sons of this land and after we are all killed, there will be no nation," he said. 
 
Meanwhile, student leaders of various students’ political wing have started blaming each other over the issue. 
 Reacting on the issue, <keyword id="3054758" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Shehla-Rashid">Shehla Rashid</keyword>, former Vice president, JNU students’ union tweeted “JNU VC recently moved court against protesting students &amp; the HC banned protests at Admin block, to which Rajini refers in his last post L.” 
 On the other side, Saurabh Sharma, member ABVP and former joint secretary <keyword id="346405" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="JNUSU">JNUSU</keyword> tweeted “why were the anarchist-leftist gangs so prompt in reaching the site of suicide? Is it a care of criminal conspiracy? Was Rajini murdered?” 
 
The deceased scholar spoke about discrimination <a href="https://www.facebook.com/muthukrishanan.jeevanantham/posts/1945753248981124">in his alleged last Facebook post</a>. "When equality is denied everything is denied. There is no Equality in M.phil/phd Admission, there is no equality in viva - voce, there is only denial of equality, denying Prof. Sukhadeo thorat recommendation, denying students protest places in Ad - block, denying the education of the marginal."

As a result of burgeoning pressure by agitating Amity students in the <keyword id="3577224" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sushant-Rohilla">Sushant Rohilla</keyword> suicide case for the past week, two teachers directly responsible for the third year law student taking his own life, have reportedly resigned from their positions. 
 BP Sehgal, (Director) and <keyword id="3582437" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="isheeta-rutabhasini">Isheeta Rutabhasini</keyword> who is permanent faculty member, had been sent on forced leave three days ago as hundreds of students gathered outside the Noida college campus to protest what they called deliberate harassment and torture by authorities on Rohilla for no fault of his. 
 
Here's how the case had unfolded so far: 
 
1) Rohilla was found hanging in his room at his residence in Sarojini Nagar on August 10. He was shattered after he learned that he would not be allowed to take his sixth semester exams due to low attendance. In his suicide note, he reportedly wrote he was a failure and did not wish to live. His mother, a teacher, walked in after coming back from school at 2.30pm to find Sushant hanging from the ceiling fan and a suicide note, which said he was sorry to have failed them and for not being a good brother and a son. 
 
2) His friends and family alleged Sushant had suffered a foot injury because of which he was unable to attend classes for at least two weeks. He had missed many classes before, they said, because he was busy representing college at various events and even organising event for the college for which he should have been given attendance. 
 3) Meanwhile, as the issue snowballed, <keyword id="558171" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amity-Law-School">Amity Law School</keyword> claimed in a statement that Sushant had 43 per cent attendance and this had been “conveyed to his parents many times through mail. Since the institute is affiliated to the Guru Gobind Singh IP University, the attendance, as per the rules of IP University, was sent to IP, which has the sole discretion to issue admit cards… for sitting in examinations.” It added, “Amity Law School itself had absolutely no role”. The authorities also alleged they did not hear back from Rohilla or his parents despite intimating the, repeatedly. 
 
4) Sushant’s family, however, maintained that no warning or notices were sent to them about his attendance. They said he informed the family about his detention and they got to know about it only when two representatives of IP University visited them on August 11 to pay condolences. They alleged the officials claimed he was irregular to college and was not good in studies. His uncle <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1275149145851178&amp;set=pcb.1275149189184507&amp;type=3">Dinesh Rohilla </a>and sister <a href="https://www.facebook.com/mehak.rohilla/posts/10157404119970093">Mehak Rohilla then shared an email </a>to counter university’s claims, which showed Rohilla wrote to the college requesting them to not debar him from semester examinations due to shortage of attendance. The same day his father <keyword id="123365" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Jagdish-Kumar">Jagdish Kumar</keyword>, a joint secretary in Rajya Sabha, blamed college officials for his son’s suicide. “His act of suicide was provoked by some officials of the Institute over trivial but illegal arbitrary issues. No student should ever be tortured over attendance. I will get my son justice,” <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1268949276449930&amp;set=a.637407956270735.1073741827.100000046096283&amp;type=3&amp;theater">he wrote on Facebook</a>. 
 
5) Jagdish and Rohilla’s friends, contrary to the university’s claims that he was not a good student and was given grace marks, also posted his <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1271988246146033&amp;set=a.637407956270735.1073741827.100000046096283&amp;type=3&amp;theater">meritorious achievements </a>and the <a href="https://twitter.com/TChikker/status/766533537063284737">laurels he brought to Amity</a> which were never considered by the college. 
 
6) Meanwhile, Rohilla's suicide had already <a href="https://twitter.com/TChikker/status/766534455804571648">triggered protests</a> after August 10 outside the University and on social media. In no time, hashtag <a href="https://www.facebook.com/events/599603496888840/">#JusticeForSushant</a> started trending. Students refused to attend any classes in the absence of disciplinary action against the culprits. They <a href="https://twitter.com/TChikker/status/766533537063284737">demanded resignation</a> of the two teachers - BP Sehgal and Isheeta Rutabhasini. 
 7) The two faculty members of the law school, who the students accuse of ignoring Rohilla's pleas, were then sent on forced leave soon after. <keyword id="6375590" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="amity-university">Amity University</keyword> claimed it had set up a six member commission for inquiry and both the accused could not return to office till the probe was over. 
 
8) The family members of Sushant Rohilla, meanwhile, lodged a police complaint on Wednesday demanding an investigation into abetment to suicide charges against the accused. 
 
9) Students, meanwhile, came out with a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1079595798797163&amp;set=pcb.1079596108797132&amp;type=3&amp;theater">16-page document titled ‘Bundle of Lies’ </a>to expose Universities ‘false statements’. The document page-by-page deals with all the claims of the University and why they are false and misleading. 
 
10) As protests intensified with alumni joining in, both teachers accused in the case, have now resigned. Agitating students today <a href="https://twitter.com/Chaitali_1810/status/766567956688039936">congratulated each other</a> on their win and warded off unwanted politicization attempt as <a href="https://twitter.com/Chaitali_1810/status/766525571505360896">ABVP workers tried to hijack their efforts </a>by joining the protest.
