New Delhi, Jun 13 () TV actress Deepika Singh Goyal's mother, who had tested positive for coronavirus, was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Saturday after she tweeted for help from authorities. On Friday, the actress took to Twitter hoping that her mother receives medical attention. "My mom &amp; dad are in Delhi. Mom has been diagnosed with Covid positive &amp; Lady Hardinge hospital didn't give reports only allowed my father to click its picture. I really hope the concerned personell are reading this and my mom there receives some relief (sic)," she tweeted. "My Grandmother is serious, she's has breathing difficulty they admitted her in Jeevan nursing home . I want their admission in Gangaram hospital also m grandmother &amp; father test to be done in the morning (sic)," Goyal said in another tweet. Amit Goyal, MD India at Sotheby’s International Realty believes that this indicates that real estate has made a meaningful comeback to ultra high-networth individuals’ portfolios. “With wealth creation in India growing at a fast pace, and the country’s wealthiest city Mumbai set to enter the list of top 20 cities with the most number of millionaires by 2023, we believe there’s an inherent strength in Mumbai’s luxury housing market which should continue in the future,” said Goyal. Size does matter Sales of homes that cost around ₹10-20 crore made up for around 71% of sales in the luxury segment, but there has been good traction in homes that cost ₹40-70 crore too, as per the report. Nine homes that cost over ₹70 crore were sold in the first half of the year, while 10 such sold in all of 2022, the report says. In the world of luxe, the size of homes is also growing, as per the report. Most of the luxury homes sold were in the 1,000-2,000 square feet range while the preference for 4,000-8,000 square feet homes tripled in the first half of 2023 as compared to the same period in 2018. “The Richie Rich is now eyeing larger homes than ever before with a clear preference for ocean views, higher floors and amenities galore,” says Abhishek Kiran Gupta, co-founder &amp; CEO, CRE Matrix &amp; IndexTap.

The area where they lived was turned into a containment zone and people in their neighbourhood were quarantined, the officials said.According to Chief Development Officer Abhishek Goyal, the district reported 33 fresh cases in the last 24 hours.All the patients are admitted to Kripalu Institute in Munshiganj, he added. New Delhi, May 18 () Agritech startup Eggoz, which is into the business of egg production, has raised Rs 2.5 crore from investors to fund its expansion plans. Founded in December 2017, the startup is a full-stack egg producer of nutrition-rich eggs. It operates a network of poultry farms in Bihar and Madhya Pradesh. Eggoz has raised Rs 2.5 crore as part of its seed funding. It had earlier secured Rs 1.2 crore from a clutch of angel investors. The seed funding round saw participation of investors like Tracxn Labs, Angellist, Tri-Deep Capital, founders of Letstransport, and angel investors along with existing investors - Narendra Sankar, Sunil Mishra, and Vishal Sharma, the company said. Eggoz has so far sold over two crore eggs and has more than 1,00,000 birds under management. It has developed a new farming model for small-scale commercial egg farming. With Eggoz's technology and integration platform, farmers can rear flock sizes starting from 500 birds at affordable initial investment and less land requirement," said Uttam Kumar, founder of the company. With these efforts, Eggoz poultry farming is one of the most profitable and stable businesses to generate allied income for many marginal farmers as well as to fulfill protein-enriched food requirement of the growing population, Kumar added. Eggoz works with farmers at several locations in north India, using nutritional engineering and technology. There is an opportunity for a player to implement best practices in production and create a trustworthy consumer brand. We were quite impressed by the founding team passion to solve this market." (Eds: Adds details) Lucknow, Apr 21 () As many as 153 fresh coronavirus cases, including 65 from Agra and 33 from Rae Bareli, were reported in Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday, taking the total count of such cases in the state to 1,337 from 53 districts, the health department said.Three COVID-19-related deaths were also reported, taking the death toll due to the disease to 21 in the state."Two deaths were reported from Moradabad and one from Aligarh," Dr Vikasendu Agrawal, Joint Director and State Surveillance Officer, Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme (IDSP), said in a statement issued here.The number of coronavirus cases jumped from two to 35 in Rae Bareli, with several people testing positive after coming in contact with participants at a Tablighi Jamaat event, officials said.Till Monday, the district had only two coronavirus patients, both of whom had attended the religious congregation in Delhi last month. It is usually done where chances of coronavirus cases are low such as areas outside the containment zones," he said.Pooling of samples involves testing those in batches and when pooled samples test positive, then individual samples are assessed. Pool-testing reduces the number of test kits used and therefore, increases the testing capacity."Pool-testing is being done at the King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow. <ul><li>The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade is looking to offer tax sops to startups, according to reports.</li><li>This would include the tax levied on Employee Stock Options.</li></ul>As the date for the Union Budget inches closer, the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade has held discussions to offer tax sops to startups, according to <a href="https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/business/india-business/government-plans-fresh-set-of-tax-sops-for-startups-in-budget/articleshow/69818112.cms">reports</a> The government is looking to have simpler regulations for tax levied upon Employee Stock Options (<keyword id="173739" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Esops">ESOPs</keyword>). In the interim budget announced in February, startups had got barely any mention by then acting Finance Minister Piyush Goyal. Entrepreneurs in the country were disappointed with the complete miss on startups by the otherwise startup-pro Modi government. One of the pressing worries of the startup ecosystem in India is the angel tax which the government has looked into. In May, DPIIT secretary Ramesh Abhishek had said that 541 startups had been given exemption from angel tax. In February, the DPIIT had announced that an entity will be considered a startup for a period of 10 years from the date of its incorporation as opposed to the earlier norm of seven years. Similarly, an entity will continue to be recognised as a start-up if its turnover for any of the financial years since incorporation and registration has not exceeded ₹100 crore in place of ₹25 crore earlier. The DPIIT is also looking at getting a definition for “accredited investors” for angel investments. To avail exemption from angel tax, a startup has to be recognised by DPIIT and the numbers there too have shot up. Budget 2019 may offer tax benefits for startups and simpler norms for ESOPs

<keyword id="6360722" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="ratan-tata">Ratan Tata</keyword>, Chairman Emeritus of <keyword id="46894" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tata-Sons">Tata Sons</keyword>, has recently invested an undisclosed amount in <keyword id="2779670" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tracxn">Tracxn</keyword>, the Bengaluru-based startup intelligence platform. 
 
With this development,Tracxn has joined the list of almost two dozen startups and tech companies that Tata has backed in the past two years, including Snapdeal, Ola Cabs, Paytm, Urbanladder, Xiaomi, UrbanClap and DogSpot. 
 
He is also involved with venture capital firms like Kalaari Capital, IDG Ventures India and Jungle Ventures in the capacity of an advisor. 
Talking of Tracxn, it has raised angel funding from Flipkart's co-founders Sachin and Binny Bansal, Delhivery's CEO Sahil Barua and $3.5 million in series-A funding from SAIF Partners. 
 
The company was founded in 2013 by former venture capital investors Neha Singh (ex-Sequoia Capital) and Abhishek Goyal (ex-Accel Partners), and tracks over 100 sectors including enterprise infrastructure, enterprise applications, technology, consumer, mobile, digital marketing, health, education. 
 <keyword id="2928014" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tracxn-Labs">Tracxn Labs</keyword>, an angel invest fund, and <keyword id="3401467" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tracxn-Syndicate">Tracxn Syndicate</keyword>, an angel investment group are also run by Tracxn, putting it in competition with Let's Venture, which is another fundraising platform that has been backed by Tata. 
 
In its clientele, Tracxn boasts of venture capital funds, private equity firms and corporate development teams who use the services provided by the company it to spot investment, merger and strategic partnership opportunities in different sectors. Some of these names include Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia, SoftBank, Google Capital, VMWare, GE and LG. 
 
In the past one year, Tracxn has increased its number of analysts assigned to exclusively tracking startups from 25 to 125. The client base has also seen a 400% increase to over 300 customers across 20 countries in the past 12 months. 
 
"Ratan Tata is a trusted household name &amp; his way of building things has played a critical role in how our thoughts shaped up in early days of our lives," Goyal told ET. "As we rapidly expand across geographies, his unconventional ways of building large companies with high diversity will be very useful," he continued.
