<keyword id="76451" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="adani" source="Orion">Adani</keyword> Airport Holdings Ltd (<keyword id="1497287" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="aahl" source="Orion">AAHL</keyword>), a wholly owned subsidiary of <keyword id="258914" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="adani-enterprises-ltd" source="Orion">Adani Enterprises Ltd</keyword>, has announced a successful closure of funding of $250 million senior secured three-year ECB facility from consortium of <keyword id="127691" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="standard-chartered-bank" source="Orion">Standard Chartered Bank</keyword> (SCB) and Barclays Bank PLC. The facility has an option to raise additional $200 million. The financing structure enables a scalable capital solution with flexibility to tap global capital markets in line with AAHL's vision of providing a transformational airport infrastructure platform. AAHL is leading the Adani portfolio's foray into B2C infrastructure assets. AAHL business is centred around convenience to consumer both via physical and digital channels. "We are focussed on delivering high quality infrastructure access to our consumers both through physical and digital channels," said an AAHL spokesperson. "The first phase of our capital management plan is now set in motion with the funding of AAHL, MIAL and NMIAL, and we will now focus on scaling up the airports business into one of the largest airport platforms globally. We are grateful to our stakeholders and consumers for their continued support and their confidence in us." This issuance by AAHL, marks the first milestone in its capital management plan. Earlier this week, MIAL placed $750 million private placement to Apollo, and $1.74 billion financial closure for NMIAL from the domestic banking system. With this, AAHL has tapped three different pools of capital cumulating to $2.74 billion. AAHL is now geared for the next phase of its capital management plan which includes tapping the public capital markets and further construction facilities to enable access to long term capital sources for infrastructure development. AAHL is an integrated airport network consisting of eight airports located around city centres controlling 50 per cent of top 10 domestic routes, 23 per cent of the total Indian air traffic, and 30 per cent of India's air cargo. AAHL airports handle around 200 million consumers, including passengers and non-passengers. AAHL is fully committed to the UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs) with a specific focus on SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), demonstrated through initiatives that include solar energy installation projects, electric vehicle usage, green buildings, conversion to LED lamps, among others. Adani Airports secures $250 million ECB funding for airport development

Mumbai, <keyword id="6367820" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="adani-group">Adani Group</keyword>'s flagship holding <keyword id="10722889" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="company-adani-airport-holdings-ltd">company Adani Airport Holdings Ltd</keyword> (AAHL) has acquired 23.5 per cent stake in the <keyword id="6592232" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="mumbai-international-airport-ltd">Mumbai International Airport Ltd</keyword> (MIAL) from ACSA Global Ltd (ACSA) and Bid Services Division (Mauritius) Ltd (Bidvest) for ₹1,685.25 crore. In a <keyword id="525282" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="regulatory-filing">regulatory filing</keyword>, <keyword id="118623" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Adani-Enterprises">Adani Enterprises</keyword> said that AAHL has acquired 28.20 crore equity shares of MIAL. AAHL is also a wholly owned subsidiary of Adani Enterprises. "Adani Airport Holdings Ltd has acquired 23.5 per cent equity stake i.e. 28,20,00,000 equity shares of ₹10 of Mumbai International Airport Ltd from ACSA Global Ltd and Bid Services Division (Mauritius) Ltd," the filing said. Incorporated on March 2, 2006, MIAL is engaged in the business of development, construction and operation of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. In August last year, the AAHL entered into an agreement to acquire the debt of GVK Airport <keyword id="311614" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Developers-Ltd">Developers Ltd</keyword> (GVKADL) which in turn would help the Adani Group acquire controlling interest in MIAL. GVKADL is the holding company through which <keyword id="6608657" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="GVK-Group">GVK Group</keyword> holds 50.50 per cent equity stake in the Mumbai International Airport Ltd (MIAL), which in turn holds 74 per cent equity stake in the Navi Mumbai International Airport Ltd. Adani Group acquires 23.5% stake in Mumbai International Airport for ₹1,685 crore

New Delhi, Feb 11 () Adani Enterprises on Tuesday said its arm AAHL has incorporated three wholly-owned subsidiaries -- VSSL, GMSL and PISL.The company said the three entities incorporated by Adani Airport Holdings Limited, a WOS (wholly-owned subsidiary) of the company for operating and maintaining the airports and carrying out the commercial activities in and outside the airports, are yet to commence business operations."AAHL, a wholly-owned Subsidiary of the Company has incorporated WOS namely, 'Vijaynagara Smart Solutions Limited' (VSSL), 'Gomti Metropolis Solutions Limited' (GMSL), 'Periyar Infrastructure Services Limited' (PISL) on February 10, 2020," the company said in a regulatory filing.All four entities have an authorised share capital of Rs one lakh each, it said. Adani Enterprises arm incorporates three wholly-owned subsidiaries

Researchers from Australia's <keyword id="248888" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Commonwealth-Scientific">Commonwealth Scientific</keyword> and <keyword id="6336245" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="industrial-research-organization">Industrial Research Organization</keyword> (CSIRO) on Thursday announced that they have begun testing vaccines for the novel <keyword id="1754604" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="coronavirus">coronavirus</keyword>. The CSIRO said that it has commenced the first stage of testing at the <keyword id="1496469" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Australian-Animal-Health-Laboratory">Australian Animal Health Laboratory</keyword> (AAHL) in Geelong, 75 km southwest of Melbourne, reports Xinhua news agency. The trials are expected to take three months and will be conducted on ferrets to determine if either of the two vaccines were safe and effective. "Beginning vaccine candidate testing at CSIRO is a critical milestone in the fight against COVID-19, made possible by collaboration both within Australia and across the globe," Larry Marshall, the Chief Executive of the CSIRO, said in a statement. "CSIRO researchers are working around-the-clock to combat this disease which is affecting so many -- whether it's at the AAHL or at our state-of-the-art biologics manufacturing facility -- we will keep working until this viral enemy is defeated," he added. Even if the vaccines were found to be effective and safe, it could take 12 to 18 months for them to be rolled out around the world.
