There are good movies, there are bad movies, and then there’s <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword>. New Delhi, May 1 () Bharti Airtel's digital content platform Xstream has recorded a 50 per cent jump in streaming volume during the lockdown, the company said on Friday. While re-telecast of Ramayan is said to have broken records on Doordarshan, Airtel Xstream also noticed an increase in demand for retro content during the lockdown period."While overall streaming volumes have increased by 50 per cent on the app since the middle of March 2020, it is shows and movies from yesteryears that have seen the biggest surge in demand from users," Airtel said in a statement. The platform has registered an increase in the average session time and the number of daily sessions per user is also up by 40 per cent as people are spending more time inside homes."Cult TV shows like Malgudi Days, Dekh Bhai Dekh, Zabaan Sambhal Ke, Rajani and many more have witnessed 300 per cent surge in streaming volumes," the statement said. Bollywood Classics from Chaudhavin Ka Chand, Mother India, Don, Padosan, Andaz Apna Apna and Raja Babu have seen streaming volumes growth of 100 per cent underlining the strong demand of content from the decades gone by, it said.The company found that close to 80 per cent of the demand surge for retro content is driven by users from non-metros and smaller towns in states such UP, Bihar, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh which highlights the growing adoption of OTT in these markets as smartphones and 4G penetration increases."The current situation has made video entertainment an obvious and large use case. At the same time, it has given all of us more time and space to travel back in time and rekindle some fond memories as the situation also makes us emotional," Bharti Airtel chief product officer Adarsh Nair said. Till now, we have seen fans building temples of their favourite stars. We have also seen some of them decorate their homes with posters and others getting celebrities’ names or faces tattooed on their body. When that all can happen, it didn’t come as much of a surprise that some fans opened a restaurant and dedicated it to their favourite <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> star. 
 The restaurant in question here is <keyword id="2753659" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bhaijaanz">Bhaijaanz</keyword>, which is dedicated to superstar <keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword>, often referred to as bhai jaan (meaning elder brother) by his fans around the globe. 
 
The next time you happen to visit Carter Road in Mumbai, do pay a visit to Bhaijaanz. What we liked the most about this restaurant was the creativity shown in the names of the dishes served here. Every dish seems to be inspired by a movie or a song starring Salman Khan. 
 
You would find dishes like Anda Apna Apna (inspired by Andaz Apna Apna), Salaam-E-Sandwich (Salaam-E-Ishq), Wrap Ready (Ready), Chicken Tussi Great Ho (God Tussi Great Ho) and so on. Even something as basic as a cup of tea has been called Garam Chai Ki Pyali, from the lyrics of a famous song from Salman’s film Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega. 
 
The walls have been adorned by posters of movies or the star himself. You would also find cycles and bikes there, given the star’s passion about them. Visitors are also greeted by Salman’s famous dialogues, which are pasted here and there in the restaurant. You can also see currency notes of serial numbers coinciding with the release dates of Salman’s biggest hits framed and hung on the walls. 
 
Talking of the team behind this restaurant, we have Rahul Kanal, Tabrez Shaikh, Sohail Siddique, Govind Narayan, Kursheed Khan and Zafar Sayed Yusuf as owners and partners of the restaurant, all of who hail from Bandra—a place where the superstar also resides.

Bhaijaanz: A restaurant dedicated to Salman Khan

<keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword>, the eldest child of screenwriter Salim Khan and his first wife Salma, was born to be in <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword>. Even Salim Khan wanted to be an actor but resorted to writing after he failed to make it big in acting. 
 
Blessed with boyish looks that were a fad in the early 90’s, Salman Khan entered the industry as a humble beginner, in the 1988 movie Biwi Ho To Aisi. However, it was only in his next movie, Maine Pyaar Kiya that he swept girls (and women) off their feet and became the quintessential good boy of Bollywood. 
 
Continuing his acting spree all through the 1990s with hits like Saajan, Andaz Apna Apna, Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Karan Arjun, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, he ruled the hearts and the box office for years at a stretch. This was the time that Salman came to be known as one of the most stylish and good looking actors of Indian cinema. His good physique and a bare-bodied scene in every movie became his identity, along with the lover boy image that he always carried. 
 
Come the 2000s and Salman continued with the same, lover boy image, but with some wrong choices like Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye, Yeh Hai Jalwa, and Tumko Na Bhool Paayenge, he suffered some setbacks. In his personal life as well, he went through a much-publicized breakup and some pending court cases, which further slowed down Salman’s pace. 
 
There came a time when Salman’s career took a backseat and he struggled for a hit which could bring him back to the mainstream. Any which way, Bollywood in itself was not going through a good period at that time, but things changed when Salman, in his long locks and leather jackets, turned into the bad boy Radhe in the 2003 movie Tere Naam. The movie was a massive hit and brought Salman back in the limelight, but only for a small period of time. 
 
There was a series of flops like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, Lucky: No Time for Love, Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa, Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, Saawan... The Love Season, Jaan-E-Mann, Hello and Heroes, but despite these continued flops, Salman remained one of the most sought after stars in Bollywood, because of the unending loyalty his fans had for him. He always had fans, but for his bankability, producers needed hit films, and with a line of films like Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Dabangg 2, and Kick, Salman Khan has broken the record of the maximum super hits, and has became the most bankable star of Bollywood. 
 
Bajrangi Bhaijaan releases tomorrow, but has already made a huge buzz in the industry. It is surely going to be a massive opener, given the strategic timing of its release, just after the holy month of Ramadan, the golden time that Salman is enjoying, and as we said above, the unending loyalty his fans have for him.

Bajrani Bhaijaan releases tomorrow: How Salman Khan has reinvented himself over the decades

A few days back, we told you that <keyword id="1671" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shah-Rukh-Khan">Shah Rukh Khan</keyword> and <keyword id="6355923" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Aamir-Khan">Aamir Khan</keyword> released the first look of arch competitor <keyword id="6354583" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Salman-Khan">Salman Khan</keyword>’s upcoming movie <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Guess-who-released-Salmans-first-look-in-Bajrangi-Bhaijaan/articleshow/47430828.cms">Bajrangi Bhaijaan</a>. Shah Rukh Khan, who had a long-standing feud with Salman had also graced the sangeet ceremony of Salman’s adopted sister Arpita Khan in November 2014, and Aamir Khan flew all the way to Hyderabad to perform some brotherly duties at her wedding. 
 Didn’t you think that it was about time that these three, who have been ruling <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> for decades, share some screen space together? 
 
Looks like the prayers have been answered, because if reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman are all set to star together in a movie. 
 Yes you read it right! The holy trinity of Bollywood is reportedly coming together for a movie to be made by producer <keyword id="27326" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sajid-Nadiadwala">Sajid Nadiadwala</keyword>, who is also likely to direct the movie. 
 Director <keyword id="3783" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Farah-Khan">Farah Khan</keyword>, who shares a close bond with all three Khans had once said that even God can’t bring the three Khans together; she had tried to do so for the title song of her movie Om Shanti Om but failed, as the song didn’t see Aamir Khan. 
However, the impossible seems to have been made possible by Sajid Nadiadwala, who would be bringing them together for a movie to be released in 2017. 
 
"Sajid has decided to produce a film which will star the three Khan superstars. He may even direct the film himself, though that would depend entirely on the nature of the subject. The film will go on the floors in January 2017 and release in December 2017," a source close to Sajid was reported saying. 
 
If you are already busy thinking about the nature of the movie that would see these three big shots together, the project would most likely be based on Manmohan Desai’s hit movie Amar Akbar Anthony. The movie had an impressive star cast, with all three actors Vinod Khanna, Rishi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan being at certain peaks in their careers, but Desai managed to create equal space for all three of them, which is a demand even now. All three Khans have huge fan followings and lesser screen space as compared to the other two would not go down too well with any of these fan-bases. 
 
Given that all three stars are busy in their ongoing projects, Nadiadwala has chosen 2017 to be the year that the movie goes on floors, so that dates are not an issue. 
 
While Shah Rukh and Salman have starred together in three movies – Karan Arjun, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Salman and Aamir came together for the cult classic Andaz Apna Apna.
