The company also said that most Delhiites have booked trips to Amritsar, Jaipur and Lucknow whereas Mumbaikars plan to visit Pune, Mahabaleshwar and Lonavala. People from Bangalore, on the other hand, are planning for Mysore, Ooty, Coorg, Mangalore, Kochi and Puducherry. They are expecting more business from last minute plans as well. “We are expecting the bookings to increase manifold with large traction coming in from last-minute bookings,” said Gaurav Ajmera, Chief Operating Officer, India &amp; South Asia, OYO Hotels &amp; Homes. Another popular platform – Zostel which offers the hostel experience, too has seen a 70% hike in bookings from last Diwali. For the festive season in October, Zostel has received over 14,000 room night bookings with a total expected of 24,000. Zostel saw a 32% increase in inbound foreign travelers, and 27% increase in solo travelers, 42% increase in female travelers along with a 28% increase in solo female travelers. But it’s not just about short getaways, Indians also have long planned international vacations. According to booking platform Cleartrip, Indians have been booking for trips to Thailand, Istanbul, Dubai, Singapore and Malaysia. “Among international travellers, we are seeing an emergence of the quest for new. Thailand bookings that are usually skewed in favour of Bangkok and Pattaya are seeing a shift towards Phuket. Another top emerging destination on the list of international travellers is Istanbul, which has made it among the top 10 destinations this festive season. The emergence of Phuket and Istanbul is also propelled by the new capacity added by Indian LCCs to those destinations,” said Balu Ramchandran, Senior Vice President – Cleartrip.

The company soon wants to start its operations in the Middle East market as well as the United Kingdom (UK). Falguni Nayar, the founder and chief executive of Nykaa, highlighted that the demand for Indian cosmetics in the Middle East market is quite high. Therefore, the company would like to take its house of brands — which includes Katrina Kaif’s Kay Beauty, Peppa Bella, 20Dresses, Dot &amp; Key and other brands that Nykaa has set up or acquired — in this market. Meanwhile, the UK market will serve as the first step towards Nykaa’s expansion in the European market. “At the moment we are very keen to go into the Middle East, where we think there's a lot of opportunity for Indian consumption. In the Middle East we want to take many of our Indian brands. I will grant you only exposure to the markets… including Kay Beauty which will be able to do very well in the Middle Easter market,” Nayyar said. Europe, is another area of opportunity that Nykaa is going to start with and then maybe consider expansion, she added. According to its red herring prospectus (RHP), Nykaa had registered a subsidiary in the UK under the name Nykaa International UK Limited in 2020. The company is authorised to engage in the business of retail sale of cosmetics and toilet articles in specialised stores. Nykaa will flag off its ₹5,200 crore IPO on October 28. The issue will close on November 1 and the listing will be in subsequent weeks. A total of 6.61 lakh students registered to participate in the JEE Main exam, held from February 23 to February 26. The potential and excitement for Just Dial’s new platform comes with the fact that the company already has a strong foothold in the market and a loyal user base. According to a report by financial services firm UBS, the company will be able to leverage its already existing 140 million quarterly unique users and 100,000 paid B2B subscribers to sell JD Mart. “We think Just Dial has developed a superior platform on the backdrop of an interactive user interface along with robust depth and breadth of B2B product offerings. JD's core strength is its large sales force (9,000), which should aid monetizing the new platform,” said the UBS report from October, 2020. JD Mart finds competition from the country’s oldest e-commerce platform IndiaMart, which has had an unchallenged run for 24 years. The company has fixed a price band of ₹553-555 a share for its IPO. The three-day public issue will close on March 16. It plans to use the funds to repay its debt partly. As of September, the company had a total debt of ₹814.48 crore, and it plans to repay at least ₹556.20 crore in debt. The Surat-based company has reserved about 2.20 lakh shares for employees. Half of the issue is reserved for qualified institutional buyers, 35% for retail investors and 15% for non-institutional bidders. Anupam Rasayan commenced operations in 1984 with conventional products, and now it makes speciality chemicals that involve multi-step synthesis and complex chemistries. Anupam Rasayan’s business has two verticals — life science related to speciality chemicals and other speciality chemicals. The life science-related speciality chemicals are used in agrochemicals, personal care, and pharmaceutical sectors, whereas the other is used for pigment, dyes, polymer additives, etc. <keyword Its clients include Syngenta Asia Pacific, Sumitomo Chemical Company and UPL Limited.</li><li>Anupam Rasayan has six multi-purpose manufacturing facilities based in Gujarat with a combined installed capacity of around 23,396 metric tonnes, of which 6,726 metric tonnes was added in March last year.</li><li>Its revenue from operations increased by 45% to ₹539.22 crore in the nine months ended December 31 from ₹371.80 crore in the corresponding year-ago period.</li><li>The grey market is ready to pay a hefty premium for its shares ahead of the IPO.
