Assistant is not replacing Google Now in Android 7.1 update, implying that only a system update won't be sufficient to get Assistant on your phones 
 There is no doubt that <keyword id="3623609" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Google-Pixel">Google Pixel</keyword> is a fine device, maybe the best Android phone made so far. Comparing feature it surely surpasses <keyword id="6354606" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="iPhone">iPhone</keyword> 7. The Google Pixel will affect the sales of other Android devices, this is sure.

How to? 
 
As a matter of first importance, you'll require Nougat installed. If you have root, use a file explorer to find build.prop, under Root/System. Scan for the accompanying two values (or add them if you don't find them):

Affordable is the need of hour and Yu Televentures, part subsidiary of Micromax has given its own ultimatum to rivals (notably Xiaomi) in the form of Yuphoria. Lining up head-to-head with Redmi 2, Yuphoria is the only phone that has been named by the consumers. This is Yu’s first-ever metal encased product in the market. 
 
The company has been running teasers about this phone over the past few weeks; each of them highlighting the possible hardware in tow and the design that consumers can expect. And now, after the launch what has really got everyone excited is: Yuphoria’s competitive pricing of just Rs 6,999. So, what all do we get in this new device? Unlike the Yureka, Yuphoria is a typical phone with its 5-inch form size; it seems the phone-phablet parity is set to re-run back to its old ways. 
 
The brand seems to have focused heavily on the design and built aspect of Yuphoria and for its stature, the 8.3mm thickness and 143 grams weight should prove convenient for one hand usage. 
 
Yuphoria sports 5-inch HD display, is powered by Cyanogen’s latest 12OS based on Lollipop version and packs in the latest 4G compatible Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage support. On the imaging front, Yuphoria comes fitted with 8MP snapper with LED flash at the back and a 5MP shooter on the front. 
 
This dual-SIM phone has been equipped with plethora of sensors for tracking health patterns. All this and you also get a 2,230mAh battery with the promise of quick-time charging. Easy to say that Yuphoria comes closest to Redmi 2 right now. However, how it will fare in real-life tests, we will update you on the same pretty soon. Yuphoria will go on sale via registered sales on Amazon later today.

This Cyanogen powered metal Smartphone launched in India for Rs 6,999

Chinese mobile OEM Coolpad has announced its intentions to launch its range of smartphones in India, which is a very attractive market for new manufacturers as we've seen from the likes of Xiaomi, Gionee, Oppo etc. 
 
It is noteworthy, that Coolpad had earlier tied up with Reliance Communications to offer bundled CDMA devices but this is the first time it will be venturing solo in this space. 
 
The company's Dazen range of handsets will be launching in India soon, the company said in a statement. The manufacturer will possibly set up manufacturing units in parts of India to speed up supply. It is said that an R&amp;D facility will be launched in Bengaluru soon. 
The company will sell its smartphones in the Rs. 5,000 - 20,000 price segment, taking the likes of Xiaomi, Lenovo, Micromax, Motorola and ASUS head on. There's no word on whether the devices will be available as an exclusive through local retailers or if it will be sold through all major retailers in the country. 
 
In any case, it's good news for the Indian customers that a new budget friendly OEM is interested in setting up a base in the country. Increased competition can only mean good news for buyers as prices will inevitably see a fall. There is a also a buzz that Meizu (another popular Chinese brand) will be starting operations soon. 
 
Coming back to Coolpad, the Dazen brand is unheard of for most Indian customers, so the company will have to make sure that there is some awareness about its brand before launching devices in the country. For those unaware, the popular Micromax YU Yureka is a rebranded version of the Coolpad F2 smartphone. 
 
"We will use the strengths of Coolpad as a manufacturer and innovator and the intent is to build a software and services ecosystem solving needs of our customers that are mostly online buyers," said Varun Sharma, the CEO of Coolpad’s Indian wing.

This 5.5 inch smartphone is the way to go for those looking for a powerful Android phablet. It is the only handset to be optimised with the powerful Snapdragon 615 chip. It offers OnePlus One like Cyanogen experience for less than half the price. With 16 GB internal storage, it is a budget phone for everyone. Other features include 13 megapixel camera resolution, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, 4.0 GPS and 2500 mAh battery. Gaming is taken care of by the Adreno 405 GPU and 2 GB RAM.
