In the last eighteen months, the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=aam+admi+party&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Aam Aadmi Party</a> including Delhi Chief Minister <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=arvind+kejriwal&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Arvind Kejriwal </a>and six cabinet members have managed to spend over Rs 1 crore on just tea and snacks for their guests.<br />

The details emerged from an <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=RTI&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">RTI</a> query filed by <keyword id="193039" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Vivek-Garg">Vivek Garg</keyword> who sought to know how much the Delhi ministers spend on tea and snacks.<br /> Leading the pack is <keyword id="260213" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Arvind-Kejriwal">Arvind Kejriwal</keyword>, who drew up a cumulative bill of Rs 47.29 lakhs which includes Rs 22,42,320 spent at the secretariat office and Rs 24,86,921 spent at his residence camp office. It goes without saying that Kejriwal seems to have left his hunger strike days way way behind.<br />

Following him is Deputy Chief Minister <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=manish+sisodia&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Manish Sisodia</a> who spent a total of Rs 11.28 lakhs on refreshments.<br />

Ex-transport minister Gopal Rai who was fired for allegations of corruption was not one to be left behind. As it turns out, he too raked up a bill of over TRs 11 lakh.<br />
<br /> Then there is <keyword id="6367909" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sandeep-Kumar">Sandeep Kumar</keyword>, the ex-social welfare minister who was recently sacked and is in the midst of a sexual assault allegation. Kumar spent over Rs 9 lakh on tea and snacks, while Health Minister <keyword id="6378951" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Satyendra-Jain">Satyendra Jain</keyword> also used up Rs 9.1 lakh. Last, but not the least, Tourism Minister <keyword id="6381732" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kapil-Mishra">Kapil Mishra</keyword> spent over Rs 6 lakh and <keyword id="339091" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Imran-Hussain">Imran Hussain</keyword>, the Food and Civil Supply Minister spent a little over Rs 5 lakh on snacks.<br />

Believe it or not: Aam Aadmi Party spent Rs 1 crore of taxpayers money on chai and samosa

The vibrant festival of Diwali, celebrated across India with lights, firecrackers, and joyous gatherings, also witnessed a series of unfortunate incidents and emergencies this year, bringing attention to the risks associated with firecrackers and other festival practices. From fires and injuries to life-threatening confrontations, the festival celebrations were marred by numerous incidents, causing authorities to respond swiftly.<br /><h2>Hyderabad: <keyword id="23276717" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="eye-injuries" source="keywords">Eye injuries</keyword> surge</h2>In Hyderabad, the Sarojini Devi Eye Hospital reported a significant rise in firecracker-related eye injuries, with 48 patients seeking treatment for burns and eye damage. Hospital Superintendent Modini Pandharpurkar noted, "Of the 48, eight were admitted to the hospital, including three children and five adults."<br /><br />Fortunately, none of the injuries were life-threatening. Nevertheless, with the ongoing celebrations, the hospital anticipates a higher number of patients in the coming days. She further urged parents to supervise children during firecracker use and cautioned against risky behavior such as holding crackers while lighting them.<br /><h2>Firecracker dispute in Mumbai</h2>In Mumbai, a Diwali celebration escalated into a fatal altercation when a dispute broke out over the location for bursting firecrackers. Vivek Gupta, a 20-year-old resident of Jai Maharashtra Nagar in Antop Hill, lost his life in the confrontation. The incident began when a passerby, Kartik R Mohan Devendra, asked the group celebrating in a narrow lane to move to a safer location.<br /><br />Following a heated exchange, Devendra and his associates returned to the scene, leading to a violent clash during which Gupta was stabbed fatally. The police have since arrested five individuals and are actively searching for other suspects involved.<br /><h2>Delhi: Record-breaking fire calls and rampant pollution</h2>The <keyword id="19959715" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Delhi-fire-services" source="keywords">Delhi Fire Services</keyword> (DFS) experienced a record surge in fire-related emergencies, receiving 318 calls within a 24-hour span, marking the highest number in 13 years. “The figure marks the highest number of Diwali-related fire and emergency incidents in the past 13 years,” stated DFS Chief Atul Garg. Despite enhanced preparedness and additional fire units deployed across the city, the overwhelming number of incidents underscored the persistent dangers posed by firecrackers.<br /><br />The DFS reported that most calls came between 5 PM on October 31 and 5 AM on November 1. The calls included incidents of minor burns and fires, with one major accident involving a fire onboard a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus due to an ignited stash of crackers carried by a passenger. Additionally, the relentless firecracker use contributed to a drastic decline in Delhi's air quality. The city's air quality index (AQI) hit 'very poor' levels, exacerbating health risks for residents despite the fifth consecutive year of a government-imposed ban on firecrackers.<br /><h2>Kanpur: Tragic loss in house fire</h2>In a tragic incident in Kanpur, prominent businessman Sanjay Shyam Dasani, his wife Kanika, and their domestic helper Chhavi Chauhan perished in a house fire believed to have started from a 'diya' left unattended after Diwali prayers. The fire rapidly engulfed their home, and the couple, unable to unlock their electronically secured bedroom door in time, succumbed to suffocation. The incident has left the local community in shock, highlighting the need for heightened safety precautions during the festival.<br /><h2>Odisha: Firecracker mishaps result in casualties and injuries</h2>In Odisha, the festive celebrations took a deadly turn as two young boys lost their lives in a firecracker-related blast in Puri, while over 50 people suffered injuries in separate incidents across the state. One tragic accident involved the destruction of 25 shops in a Bhubaneswar market, where property worth lakhs was reduced to ashes.<br /><br />Hospitals in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack also reported multiple admissions of burn victims, many of whom were children. Puri Superintendent of Police Vinit Agarwal emphasised that strict measures would be taken against individuals involved in illegal firecracker manufacturing.<br /><h2>Kolkata: Smog and noise pollution dampen festivities</h2>In Kolkata, the morning after Diwali brought a sharp decline in air quality as pollution levels soared across the city. Despite efforts by the West Bengal Pollution Control Board (WBPCB) to curb the use of harmful firecrackers, many residents disregarded guidelines, leading to dangerously high levels of PM 2.5. The AQI, which hovered around 250 in several areas during the night, remained in the ‘poor’ category the next morning. <br /><br />Environmentalist Somendra Mohan Ghosh criticised the public's disregard for sound and air pollution norms, stating, “Sound crackers were burst rampantly from 9PM till after 1AM across several areas."<br /><br />Officials across the country have voiced concerns and urged citizens to prioritise safety over enthusiasm. Delhi's Environment Minister, Gopal Rai, mobilised enforcement teams to ensure compliance with the firecracker ban, while activists like Somendra Ghosh stressed the importance of public responsibility in maintaining environmental and community safety.<br /><br />The festival, though symbolic of light and joy, brought shadows of loss and injury this year. This Aam Aadmi’s electricity bill for the month of April and May is found to be Rs 91,000. Now, this amount is almost ten times more than the electricity consumption of an average Indian household. <br />
<br /> As per a recent report published in Economic Times, the General Administration Department of <keyword id="6354952" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Delhi-Government">Delhi Government</keyword> has furnished the copies of electricity bill of Kejriwal's house in the <keyword id="6356198" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="RTI">RTI</keyword> query that was filed by Vivek Garg, an advocate and RTI activist.<br />
<br /> However, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Delhi officials are claiming that the bill was over Rs 1 lakh. Not just this, but Delhi BJP has also said that it will seek power bill details of all <keyword id="6356115" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="AAP">AAP</keyword> ministers.<br />

Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Kapoor also alleged that the CM house is equipped with two different electricity meters. In a statement he said, "The Chief Minister's residence has two electricity meters. The latest bills for the two meters are Rs 55,000 and Rs 48,000 (total Rs 1, 03,000)."<br />

The user can then create a link to FindTime within Outlook, and send it over by email for attendees to vote directly within the app. You need to be an Outlook user to create the link, but not if you're one of the attendees voting.</p><p><span>"We think scheduling a time can be more collaborative - and with FindTime, it feels almost magical," Vivek Garg, a Microsoft developer who led the creation of FindTime, wrote in the blog post.</span></p><p><span>There's certainly similar services to FindTime, like Doodle and NeedToMeet.
