Kulkarni turned 20 while riding to make it to the record books. She started her journey from Perth in July <keyword id="6366594" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="cycling">cycling</keyword> nearly 300 kms a day and has reportedly travelled 14 countries in 159 days. Kulkarni has peddled nearly 80% of the journey all alone. Kulkarni’s bicycle is reportedly packed with her luggage and utilities including cycle tools, making it difficult to travel across <a href="http://leagueofindia.com/sports-league/indias-vedangi-kulkarni-becomes-the-fastest-asian-to-cycle-the-globe/">countries</a>. Her challenging journey, however, was not without issues. She faced hurdles with securing visas for different countries and departure delays. Journey so far Funded by her parents, the pedalist started her journey from Perth in July and cycled across Australia to Brisbane, from where she took a flight to Wellington, New Zealand. Moving ahead, Vedangi travelled Vancouver in Canada, stepping towards Halifax, an Atlantic ocean in eastern Canada.
