Nageswaran highlighted several indicators demonstrating the economy’s resilience. “If you run through the checklist for the <keyword id="19948184" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="Indian-economy" source="keywords">Indian economy</keyword>, the health is pretty robust,” he noted, pointing to controlled levels of external debt as a share of GDP, declining non-performing assets in the banking system, and stable inflation trends. Although certain food items have caused inflationary spikes, their impact is limited within the overall consumer price index basket, he explained. The CEA praised the shift in fiscal expenditure priorities over the past seven years, with greater focus on capital investments rather than revenue spending. This reallocation, he suggested, has bolstered long-term economic stability and growth potential. India’s GDP growth for the July-September quarter was 5.4%, significantly below the Reserve Bank of India’s forecast of 7%. While this has sparked concerns among economists, Nageswaran urged against overreacting. Erratic monsoons and excessive rainfall disrupted economic activity in Q2, he explained, while global uncertainties and supply chain pressures further weighed on growth. Despite these challenges, he maintained confidence in the broader growth narrative, citing improvements in key economic metrics. For instance, India’s gross capital formation has risen from 27.3% of GDP in the second decade of the 2000s to 30.8% today. Private consumption remains steady, and exports—spanning both services and manufacturing—continue to perform well even amid challenging global conditions. Nageswaran also underscored India’s growing competitiveness in international trade. He noted that the nation’s total <keyword id="24325087" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="exports-as-a-percentage-of-GDP" source="keywords">exports as a percentage of GDP</keyword> now surpass China’s, showcasing its resilience and adaptability in a shifting global trade environment. I tested the Velvet Red colour option. The Vivo V30e comes with a dual-tone finish, with one portion offering a matte finish and one portion offering a glossy finish. The device does not attract any fingerprint smudges, making it possible to use it without a case. However, the device is a bit slippery, so I recommend using it with a case to ensure it does not slip out of your hand. You won’t face any issues, whether you are gaming or just browsing social media. <h2>Software and performance</h2>The Vivo V30e runs on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s Funtouch OS 14 on top. The device will get three years of Android updates and four years of security updates. The software support offered by the company is decent for this segment. The V30e has its fair share of bloatware. This includes applications like Amazon, Snapchat, PhonePe, Facebook, LinkedIn and more. While these applications can be uninstalled, the V-Appstore, which is the company’s own app store also sends notifications for app recommendations. In terms of performance, the Vivo V30e is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset coupled with 8GB LPDDR5X of RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. While the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset is not a very powerful one, it offers decent performance in this segment. The device can handle multitasking easily. I played Call of Duty: Mobile on the device and it was able to handle the game smoothly, without any stutters. The smartphone is powered by a 5,500mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The large battery ensures that you do not have to worry about running out of juice during the day. With regular usage, you can get up to two days of battery life out of the device. <h2>Camera</h2>The Vivo V30e comes with a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. While the Aura Light helps in capturing decent images even in low light conditions, the device sometimes takes a bit longer to capture the images. The device is equipped with a 50MP selfie camera, which captures good selfies in daylight and low-light conditions. The front camera also supports 4K video recording, making it a good option for content creators. <h2>Verdict</h2>The Vivo V30e is a decent smartphone that comes with a slightly different design, decent hardware and a large battery. Its sleek design and vibrant display make it a good option in this segment. "I am pleased to report a strong start to the new fiscal year with all-round growth across industries and markets," K Krithivasan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of TCS, said in a release. TCS has declared an interim dividend of Rs 10 per equity share of Re 1 each. Meanwhile, other IT stocks -- Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL Technologies and Wipro -- were also in demand.

It had incurred a net loss of Rs 11.31 crore in July-September period a year ago, according to a regulatory filing by the value retailer. Revenue from operations in the September quarter was Rs 549.43 crore. It was at Rs 506.16 crore in the corresponding quarter, it said. According to the company, its results are not comparable as the results include business operations of digital marketplace LimeRoad acquired during the previous year. "Accordingly, result of the quarter ended September 30, 2022 is not comparable," it said. V Mart's total expenses in the September quarter were at Rs 637.84 crore. The device will get two years of Android updates and three years of security updates. Vivo should have added additional software support to the device, as companies have now started offering longer software support. For those unaware, Funtouch OS is a highly customised version of Android from Vivo and offers a host of features. Unlike the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro, the V30 Pro has its fair share of bloatware. This includes applications like Snapchat, PhonePe, Facebook, LinkedIn and others. While these can be uninstalled easily, the V-Appstore, which is the company’s app store also sends notifications randomly. In terms of performance, the Vivo V30 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR5X of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. It is to be noted that the Dimensity 8200 is the same chipset that was used in the V29 Pro. While it is an older chipset, the Dimensity 8200 still offers decent performance and battery efficiency. The chipset, which is coupled with ample RAM and storage can handle multitasking efficiently, without any lag. I played popular titles such as Call of Duty: Mobile and Asphalt 9 on the V30 Pro at high settings and did not notice any stuttering. The device does get slightly hot after an extended gaming session, but it is manageable. The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support, allowing you to charge the device quickly. That is until earlier this year, when Apple decided it wouldn't bring its latest AI features to its one-year-old iPhone 15 models, forcing me to look for alternatives. Honor, a China-based phone brand, released its Magic V3, the thinnest and lightest foldable phone on the market. Here's why I bought it, despite its astronomical <a target="_blank" class="" href="https://www.honor.com/uk/phones/honor-magic-v3/buy/?srsltid=AfmBOorLiqaY1v1P2O-KLIeGLobxGdd6Cy0g5G6Ixvsae9ARlCSPLbEJ">£1,699 price tag</a>, around $2,205 — more than double what I paid for my iPhone 15 in 2023.<h2 id="d0df618b-0b66-4623-9f84-8f4b0d620899">The thinness of the model sold me </h2>While it was over £500 more than what I had paid for a new phone in the past, the amount of time I now spend on my phone justified the investment. While it is the slimmest foldable, it's still slightly more cumbersome than a typical smartphone for most users and their pockets. But since it replaces three devices, I've found the effort worth the trouble. As someone who struggled to justify carrying multiple screens for different purposes, I recommend consolidating them into one.

Four years of Android updates means you will get up to Android 18, which is excellent for a device in this segment. While OneUI is relatively cleaner compared to other UIs in the segment, the device still has its fair share of bloatware, including apps like Netflix, LinkedIn, OneDrive and others. The device comes with other pre-installed applications from Samsung and Google. While the device can run the game smoothly, we did notice the occasional lag during extended gaming sessions. The selfie camera clicks decent images in daylight conditions. <h2>Verdict</h2>The Samsung Galaxy F55 is a good option for those looking for a mid-range smartphone from Samsung but do not want a boring plastic back. The device offers a good display, a smooth UI and decent cameras. It offers decent performance for regular users but may not be the best option for those looking for a gaming smartphone. Overall, it is a good device that offers a good balance between design, hardware and price. transparent design language. The device comes in four colour options – Black, Blue, Special Edition and White. I received the Black colour variant of the device, which is also my preferred variant. <div type="image" title="Rear" msid="112111179" hostid="261" sizebytes="74046" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Nothing Phone (2a) rear design&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div> The Nothing Phone (2a) comes with a redesigned camera module, with the cameras placed horizontally and the LED flash placed above the camera module. The smartphone comes with a transparent plastic back, showcasing some of the interiors of the device. While you may want to use the device without a case to flaunt the design, it is a dust and fingerprint magnet and you may be forced to slap on a case. The company has reduced the number of lights on the Glyph interface to just three for the Nothing Phone (2a) but they look good and add a unique touch to the device. The colours are accurate and you will not face any issues, whether you are gaming, watching movies or just browsing social media. It is equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to offer protection to the display. <h2>Software and performance</h2>The Nothing Phone (2a) runs on Android 14 out of the box with the company’s Nothing OS 2.5 on top. The device will get three years of Android updates and four years of security updates, which is fine for a mid-range smartphone. If you have used a Nothing phone before, the software remains the same. You get a near-stock Android experience, along with improvements and added customisation options. Nothing is popular for its quirky widgets and that is also the case with the Phone (2a). You get a good collection of widgets with the device and it does not come with any bloatware so you don’t have to worry about having to uninstall a ton of apps. In terms of performance, the Nothing Phone (2a) is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset coupled with up to 12GB LPDDR4X of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The Dimensity 7200 Pro offers good performance and battery efficiency. The chipset, which is coupled with ample RAM and storage can handle multitasking efficiently, without any stuttering. I played popular titles such as Asphalt 9 and Call of Duty: Mobile on the device and did not notice any stuttering. If you are a casual gamer, you can get the device without any worries. If you plan on using the device for extended gaming sessions, it does heat a little but is manageable. The Nothing Phone (2a) is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support. The device is power efficient and easily offers over a day’s of battery life, with regular usage, streaming and light gaming. <h2>Camera</h2>Coming to the camera department, the Nothing Phone (2a) features a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP primary camera with OIS and a secondary 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera. <div type="image" title="Rear camera" msid="112111250" hostid="261" sizebytes="33010" caption="&amp;lt;p&amp;gt;Nothing Phone (2a) rear camera&amp;lt;/p&amp;gt;"></div> The device can capture good photos in daylight conditions, with good colour reproduction and proper saturation. The device can capture a good amount of detail. In low light conditions, the images captured are decent but there is some noise. The colours are good and there is minimal noise. The device can capture good portraits in daylight conditions, with proper edge detection and subject focus. While there is no telephoto camera offered with the phone, you can capture decent shots using the 2x zoom option. On the front, the device features a 32MP selfie camera. The selfie camera works well and is great for capturing selfies and video calls. <h2>Verdict</h2>The Nothing Phone (2a) is a well-designed smartphone that stands apart in the crowd while offering decent features. The device comes with a clean UI, good software support and offers decent performance. The device does have its share of issues such as a back that attracts fingerprints and lack of a charger in the box. Overall, the Nothing Phone (2a) is a good option worth considering in the under ₹30,000 segment.
