Other videos include a ranking of side hustles and talking about taxes for this kind of work.He suggests others interested in YouTube to try it as he didn't know what to expect for himself after he said he started with what he considered a low quality webcam and microphone."Worst case scenario, you put yourself out there, you gave it your best shot," Scott said. "If you're patient and you keep going at it, people will pick up on authenticity."<h2>DataAnnotation</h2>Scott recommends <a target="_blank" href="https://www.dataannotation.tech/">DataAnnotation</a>, a site where "you will help train AI chatbots to contribute to the development of sophisticated AI programs," per the site's FAQ page, if you're looking for a side hustle where you don't need to have a social media presence. He has made around $1,000 from this gig.According to the FAQ section of the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.dataannotation.tech/faq?">site</a>, pay for this work can start at $20 per hour or $40 per hour depending on the work. "Pay starts at $20/hour for writing and general AI training projects and $40/hour for coding projects," the site stated. "Bonuses are offered for high-quality and high-volume work."The <a target="_blank" href="https://www.dataannotation.tech/faq?">site</a> said that some of the skills DataAnnotation is looking for are computer programming experience for those looking to do coding projects, as well as good English grammar and spelling skills."As long as you are fluent in English and you're a decent creative thinker, then you should be able to apply and get in assuming you passed the starter assessment," Scott said. Scott also has found the work is consistent, which he said is important if you're looking to earn from side hustles. He has found though that this gig has become "oversaturated."<h2>Prolific and Connect</h2><a target="_blank" href="https://www.prolific.com/">Prolific</a> and <a target="_blank" href="https://www.cloudresearch.com/resources/blog/introducing-connect-for-participants/">Connect</a> are two other gigs Scott has tried, both of which can involve doing surveys. He noted that survey work can be flexible."If you have really busy schedules, if you're not looking to make a ton of money from side hustles, then these survey sites are definitely perfect for you, you just have to be really picky and choosy," Scott said.The minimum pay on Prolific, where researchers can put out studies, is £6 per hour but at least £9 is what Prolific recommends to researchers, the <a target="_blank" href="https://www.prolific.com/resources/how-much-should-you-pay-research-participants">site</a> stated. Meanwhile, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.cloudresearch.com/products/connect-for-participants/">CloudResearch</a>, which launched Connect, stated on its site that a lot of the work from Connect pays $10 per hour on average."These are good income boosters, not necessarily going to make you rich, but you can get a few bucks here and there," Scott said.<h2>UserTesting</h2>While <a target="_blank" href="https://www.usertesting.com/">UserTesting</a>, which the UserTesting site noted involves sharing "your perspectives via tests you match with, and help best-in-class brands improve their products and services," is a new side hustle for Scott, he said it's quickly become one of his favorites.UserTesting's <a target="_blank" href="https://www.usertesting.com/faq">FAQ</a> web page stated that those who use UserTesting to get people's feedback will get "audio and video recordings of real people from your target market speaking their thoughts as they complete tasks you specify."Scott said the pay has been good too and that they can be short tests. For instance, he's been paid $10 for tests.This side hustle would be good for people who are comfortable being on camera or talking, Scott said."It never gets stale and you talk about different stuff every time you get a test," he said. "So if you're into mixing it up a little bit, as long as you're comfortable being recorded, then it's definitely fun to do and I highly recommend it."<h2>Amazon Influencer Program</h2>Scott started trying the Amazon Influencer Program, which Amazon describes as being able to monetize content as a creator, around mid-2023. He had made nearly $3,800 last year."The Amazon Influencer Program came about because of my YouTube channel because you need some kind of social media presence in order to even get into that program," he said.Scott has made several videos about products, but he said that he didn't put in a lot of effort."There are several ways creators can earn, including linking to qualifying products, promoting Amazon services like Prime video and Amazon Music, curating shoppable photo and video content and livestreaming and recommending products through Amazon Live," an Amazon spokesperson previously <a target="_blank" href="https://www.businessinsider.com/side-hustle-ugc-delivery-make-money-flexible-time-easy-jobs-2023-11">said</a>.What side hustle people end up doing could depend on their goal. Currently, the headcount of the sports technology company is 800 and it is planning to make it to 1000 by the end of December next year (2022). The sports technology company told Business Insider that they will be recruiting 160 people for their core team and rest 40 people for other domains like human resources (HR), legal, marketing and many more. “We aim to hire over 200 more people in the coming months, with around 80% of them working in our core teams. The remaining 20% will be part of our other support functions like HR, finance, legal, marketing. We are not looking for any international hires at the moment,” said Kevin Freitas, chief human resources officer of Dream Sports during an interaction with Business Insider. The Mumbai-based company doubled its headcount during the pandemic last year from 339 to 800 and aims to upscale its infrastructure and tech advancements. Freitas further added, “Our team has more than doubled since January of 2020 during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic when our headcount was just 339. As a leading sports tech company, we aim to upscale our tech advancements and infrastructure, as the company and our user base of 130 million expands. Thus, our primary focus in hiring for the next couple of months is to rapidly scale up the teams our core productivity functions of technology, product and design.” The company, started in 2008, had replaced Vivo as the title sponsor in the Indian Premier League (IPL). These are some of the opportunities available in the sports technology company — 1. Product Designer (Enterprise Tools) Eligibility — Candidates must have at least one year of overall professional experience. A portfolio of work that showcases excellent practical design skills including layout, colour, and typography. Key responsibilities — Being a hands-on user interface and visual designer for our toughest design challenges. Working alongside product, marketing, UX (user experience) designers, copywriters, and developers to come up with complete design solutions. 2. <ul><li>Burger King’s Twitter letter encouraged its followers to order from other competing fast-food franchises, pointing to chains like McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, and KFC, to mention a few.</li><li>UserTesting’s survey studies the campaign’s impact on customer loyalty, perception, and company values at the global level. </li><li>Burger King’s campaign was launched on November 2, 2020 and received overwhelmingly positive feedback on social media platforms across the world. </li></ul>After Burger King told its UK customers to order from McDonald's, Taco Bell, and KFC to protect jobs in the food sector, the food giant’s customer loyalty has increased in the market, revealed UserTesting’s survey. <div type="javascript" title="Instagram" contenttype="Image"><cdata><![CDATA[ ]]></cdata></div> According to the survey, 90% of customers agree to increased brand loyalty for Burger King after reading the letter named “Order from McDonald’s. 70% of customers confirm to have a positive change in perception for the fast-food brand while 30% did not have any changed perception of the brand after reading the letter, as reported by the survey. Additionally, the survey highlighted three emerging consumer insight themes from the campaign. Emotional Reaction The letter triggered a genuine emotional reaction. It didn’t come across as a marketing ploy as most participants took this as a real attempt to help those that work in the service industry, from the largest competitors to the smallest neighborhood restaurants. Customer quotes; “My initial reaction to this is honestly really good,I almost got chills at the end.” “It’s very striking,it takes hold of the reader’s heart” Company That Cares The letter helped to humanize the company and go beyond the typical large corporate feel where profits are the top priority. It has been a challenging year for all businesses, participants felt this campaign showed something they felt you don’t see every day, a large corporation showing it cares about people. Customer quotes; “Putting people before profits, basically unheard of by most companies” “It just shows that some things are way bigger than who is best, it’s a matter of is everyone surviving, both big and small.” Marketing Ploy The UK-centric consumers were more cynical than those based outside of the country. They saw this as a marketing ploy and were suspicious of Burger King, even with good intentions. There were comments as to why Burger King would promote other companies unless they were getting equal support from those they called out - quid pro quo. Even they did call out the missed opportunity to create a general hashtag that could have focused on helping all small and big restaurants.
