Remember, when we told you about the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Brett-Lee-All-Set-To-Be-A-Desi-Hero/articleshow/42026433.cms">acting debut of Australian cricketer Brett Lee</a> a few months back? Looks like Lee has all the time in the world post his retirement from international cricket, because from what we believe, the movie is ready to be released. 
 The first official trailer of the movie was launched last week, and it’s cute to say the least. Lee plays Will, and Australian ‘Single Guy’ who falls for Meera, an Indian ‘Single Mum’ who has recently moved to Australia. The role of Meera has been played by the talented actress <keyword id="29708" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tannishtha-Chatterjee">Tannishtha Chatterjee</keyword>, who works in Indian, British and European cinema, and was last seen in Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain. 
 The trailer shows the culturally diverse people realizing what binds them together, while showing the beautiful city of Sydney. The movie also stars <keyword id="1143694" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Supriya-Pathak-Kapur">Supriya Pathak Kapur</keyword>, <keyword id="117065" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Akash-Khurana">Akash Khurana</keyword> and <keyword id="15438" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Gulshan-Grover">Gulshan Grover</keyword> in supporting roles. The film is the first to be made from the <keyword id="1967536" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Australia-India-Film-Fund">Australia India Film Fund</keyword> (AIFF), which was especially constituted in 2013 to make Australian movies with Indian themes for audience worldwide.

This cricketer can act! Watch the trailer of Brett Lee’s first film

The Australian cricketer has been active in the <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> circuit earlier as well. Remember the music video that he did with the legendary singer Asha Bhonsle? He also did a cameo in the cricket-based movie Victory, which starred Harman Baweja. However, this time around, he will be seen in a full-fledged role in a Bollywood film. The announcement was made by none other than Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott on his recent visit to India. 
 Apparently, Lee is going to be part of an Indo-Australian film called <keyword id="2507947" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="UnIndian">UnIndian</keyword>. The film will be extensively shot in Sydney beginning this October, and the former Australian fast bowler would be paired opposite <keyword id="29708" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tannishtha-Chatterjee">Tannishtha Chatterjee</keyword>. This film will be the first one to be made from the Australia India Film Fund (<keyword id="50985" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="AIFF">AIFF</keyword>). This fund was especially constituted in 2013 to make Australian movies with Indian themes for audience worldwide. 
	 

	The script for the movie has been written by Thushy Saathi and it will be directed by Anupam Sharma. 
	 

	"I'm honoured to have been cast as a lead in the first AIFF film, privileged to be working with Anupam Sharma and humbled to be working with an actress of the calibre of Tannishtha Chatterjee," said Lee.
