<p></p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"><img src="https://static-ssl.businessinsider.com/image/5a3a7c994aa6b51c008b62a9-1000/tim-lincecum.jpg" alt="Tim Lincecum" data-mce-source="Jayne Kamin-Oncea/Getty Images"><p class="source"><span>Jayne Kamin-Oncea/Getty Images</span></p></img></div><p></p></div></div><ul><li><strong>Tim Lincecum was recently photographed at a baseball training facility looking absolutely jacked.</strong></li><li><strong>The training facility later confirmed that Lincecum was working there and would be showcasing his throw for teams in the near future.</strong></li><li><strong>After falling from one of the best pitchers in baseball to an unstartable player, it looks like Lincecum is attempting to make one more run at the majors.</strong></li></ul><hr><p><br>Tim Lincecum's fall from Cy Young winner to relief pitcher with an ERA over nine was swift, but a recent photo of the former San Francisco Giants ace shows that he might be gearing up for a comeback.</br></p><p>Colorado Rockies pitcher Adam Ottavino posted a picture to his Instagram on Tuesday showing Lincecum looking absolutely swole. Later in the day,&#xa0;<span>Kyle Boddy of Driveline Baseball, where the photo was taken, posted the same photo to Twitter, adding that Lincecum would "throw for teams at a showcase in the near future."</span></p><p>Lincecum began his career as one of the hottest pitchers in baseball, winning back-to-back Cy Young awards before he turned 26. He was never a large pitcher - weighing in at just 170 pounds and standing 5-foot-11, modest for a pitcher - but what he lacked in size he made up for with placement and a devastating splitter.</p><p>But as years passed, hitters caught up with Lincecum, and his stat line quickly fell from All-Star level to back-of-the-rotation numbers. In his final year in the majors, Lincecum left the Giants for the Angels, and started just nine games. Tim Lincecum looks jacked and appears to be gearing up for a potential MLB comeback

<p><keyword id="1740154" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Tim-Lincecum">Tim Lincecum</keyword> threw his first career <keyword id="1740155" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="No-Hitter">no-hitter</keyword>, but the San Diego Padres certainly made him work for it.</p>
<p>Lincecum struck out 13 batters, walked four, and hit another batter. In all, the two-time Cy Young Award winner needed 148 pitches to finish the game. Since 1916, only Edwin Jackson in 2010 (149) needed more pitches to complete a no-hitter.</p>
<p>Lincecum also needed a spectacular diving grab by Hunter Pence to end the 8th inning and preserve the no-hitter (see GIF below).</p>

While home teams have won the last nine game 7s in the World Series, there is one area where the Giants have an advantage.</p>
<p>The projected starting lineup for the Giants in game 7 made $58.8 million this season, $17.3 million more than the Royals' starting lineup ($41.5 million). That gap is despite the Giants not starting any of their three highest-paid pitchers.</p>
<p>In fact, of the five highest-paid players on the World Series rosters, Hunter Pence is the only player that will start tonight's game. James Shields of the Royals ($12M) along with Matt Cain ($20M), Tim Lincecum ($17M), and Jake Peavy ($14.5M) of the Giants will start the game on the bench.</p>
