In a shocking revelation, which has blown away the entire world, a retired Pakistani Official has asserted that <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Pakistan+">Pakistan </a>should confess its master plan of letting <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Pakistani+terrorists">Pakistani terrorists</a> sail to Mumbai in 2008 and carry out the massacre. 
 As reported by Economic Times, <keyword id="1398506" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Tariq-Khosa">Tariq Khosa</keyword>, a former director general of the <keyword id="125536" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Federal-Investigation-Agency">Federal Investigation Agency</keyword> (<keyword id="43642" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="FIA">FIA</keyword>), has revealed a series of pointers that shook the entire nation. 
 Writing for the <keyword id="3001" type="COUNTRY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Pakistan">Pakistan</keyword>i daily Dawn, Khosa said, "Pakistan has to deal with the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Mumbai+attacks">Mumbai mayhem</a>, planned and launched from its soil. This requires facing the truth and admitting mistakes." 
 
Mentioning the long-stretched case, Khosa mentioned his seven valid points including, "First, the entire state security apparatus must ensure that the perpetrators and masterminds of the ghastly terror attacks are brought to justice." 
 
Elaborating the setbacks for prosecutors he mentioned issues including inattentive plans by the defendants, repeated change of trial judges, assassination of the case prosecutor and also retracting from original testimony by some key witnesses. 
 
Under other major revelations Khosa mentioned, "Second, the training camp was identified and secured by the investigators. The casings of the explosive devices used in Mumbai were recovered from this training camp and duly matched. 
 
"Third, the fishing trawler used by the terrorists for hijacking an Indian trawler in which they sailed to Mumbai was brought back to harbor, then painted and concealed. It was recovered by the investigators and connected to the accused. 
 "Fourth, the engine of the vessel abandoned by the terrorists near Mumbai harbor contained a patent number through which the investigators traced its import from Japan to <keyword id="6580" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Lahore">Lahore</keyword> and then to a <keyword id="6587" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="karachi">Karachi</keyword> sports shop from where an<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=LeT"> LeT-linked militant</a> purchased it along with the dinghy. The money trail was followed and linked to the accused who was arrested. 
 
"Fifth, the ops room in Karachi, from where the operation was directed, was also identified and secured by the investigators. The communications through Voice over Internet Protocol were unearthed. 
 
"Sixth, the alleged commander and his deputies were identified and arrested. Seventh, a couple of foreign-based financiers and facilitators were arrested and brought to face trial," Khosa further added. 
 
The write-up by Khosa read, "The Mumbai case is quite unique: one incident with two jurisdictions and two trials. While the Indians managed to nab Ajmal Kasab and were able to obtain his confession to close the trial, proving conspiracy in a different jurisdiction is more complex and requires a far superior quality of evidence. Therefore, the legal experts from both sides need to sit together rather than sulk and point fingers." 
 
Khosa asked: "Are we as a nation prepared to muster the courage to face uncomfortable truths and combat the demons of militancy that haunt our land?" 
 
In November 2008, ten <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Pakistan-faces-another-embarrassing-moment-Read-how/articleshow/48172707.cms">Pakistani terrorists </a>slinked into India’s financial capital Mumbai from the waters of Arabian Sea and butchered 166 citizens including Indians and foreigners. The attacks nearly caused war between the two countries. 
 
One of the ten attackers,<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Kasab+"> Ajmal Amir Kasab</a> was caught and hanged to death on November 21, 2012 in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Yerwada">Yerwada Central Jail</a>. Other terrorists were killed by the security forces during attacks. 
 
Islamabad, initially, turned down the reports referring to its link with the attackers but later admitted that Kasab and the other leading brains were all Pakistani citizens. 
 Khosa, in his statement has said that Kasab too was a Pakistani national and that all the <keyword id="53557" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Lashkar-e-Taiba">Lashkar-e-Taiba</keyword> (LeT) terrorists who attacked Mumbai were trained in Sindh’s Thatta town and also that they launched the plan from there itself.
