A quick peruse on social media and you'll quickly see that bite-mark <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/tattoo-artists-share-trends-may-regret-tiny-ink-temporary-2023-9">tattoos</a> are having a moment.The hashtag <a target="_blank" href="https://www.tiktok.com/tag/bitemarktattoo">#bitemarktattoo</a> has over 34.7 million views on TikTok, as of Thursday.One of the most popular videos on the platform — posted by the Danish tattoo parlor Betty Zoo Tattoo on November 22 — shows <a target="_blank" href="https://www.tiktok.com/@bettyzootattoo/video/7304341713307323681">a woman biting a man's arm</a> before he has the marks left by her teeth tattooed in <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/kat-von-d-explains-why-shes-covering-her-tattoos-2023-10">black ink</a>. In the comment section of the clip, which has over 13.8 million views at the time of writing, some users said they love the tattoo, while others raised health concerns about the method."I feel like couple's tattoos have so many cute ideas but y'all getting bite marks why," one user wrote."Ringworm core," another wrote, suggesting that the style of tattoo could be unhygienic.However, a Betty Zoo Tattoo representative told Business Insider that the tattoo — which cost roughly 800 Danish kroner, or around $118 — was "harmless."They added that the client's skin was "perfectly cleaned before" and after the tattooing, in line with their standard business practice "to make sure no infections will occur in the healing process.""All our artists have taken a hygiene course before having the right to tattoo in the studio, so they know all the safety standards," the representative added, adding that the studio values safety highly.<div type="image" title="The tattoo was inked after the client's girlfriend bit into his arm." height="640" width="373" msid="105637152" hostid="261" sizebytes="17466"></div>Oliver Thage, the client who had the bite-mark tattoo featured in the video, told Business Insider he got the ink for "the fun of it" after seeing the style on social media. He said he didn't have any personal concerns about it from a health perspective."I didn't really think that deep that there should be any concerns because she's not biting into my skin, it's just to get a little marker," Thage, 22, said. He added that his girlfriend didn't bite him hard enough to leave a full dental outline, so the tattoo artist free-styled some parts.<div type="image" title="The client said his tattoo is healing normally." height="3088" width="2316" msid="105637153" hostid="261" sizebytes="306902"></div><h2>The video has raised questions about the safety of bite-mark tattoos</h2>New York City-based tattoo artist <a target="_blank" href="https://www.missvampira.com/">Mary Minahan</a>, who has worked in the industry for 13 years, told BI she thinks people should be cautious about the bite-mark trend."What if that person has an infection or there's so much bacteria in the mouth? You don't know where that person's mouth has been," the tattoo artist, who goes by <a target="_blank" href="https://www.instagram.com/missvampira/?hl=en">Miss Vampira</a> on Instagram, said. Minahan's concerns were echoed by <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/minoxidil-alternatives-for-hair-growth-2023-11">Dr. Adam Friedman</a>, professor and chair of dermatology at George Washington University, who told BI he thinks it's "a very dangerous trend.""Human bites are notorious for their propensity in causing infections at the site of the bite injury as well as posing a potential risk for transmission of systemic infections," Friedman said.In Thage's case, the Betty Zoo representative said the part of his arm that was tattooed was cleaned both before and after he was inked.But Friedman said that while disinfecting the area of skin that was bitten before tattooing could "theoretically" prevent infection, it won't completely rule out chances of one developing. Risks include the potential for infections caused by bacteria, he added.Friedman also said that there have been reports that <a target="_blank" href="https://www.insider.com/man-necrotizing-fasciitis-bitten-by-family-member-2023-6">human bites </a>can lead to the transfer of viruses like hepatitis, herpes virus, tetanus, and syphilis.Besides infection, Friedman said tattooing over a bite could influence the appearance of the ink "at minimum" but could also "result in an inappropriate immune response, forgetting even the potential for scarring."<h2>There are safer ways to get a bite-mark tattoo</h2>For those keen to jump on the trend, Minahan recommends alternative methods like having a tattoo artist work from a photograph of a bite.Besides minimizing health risks, Minahan said the tattoo would look better if copied from a photograph."It would honestly come out as a better tattoo than going over some dips inside of somebody's skin," she said.As for Thage, he said he understands the concerns about the method used for bite-mark tattoos but said that his is healing normally."Some people are taking it more seriously than maybe it should be," he said.And while he's happy with his new ink, Thage said he plans to return to Betty Zoo Tattoo for a touch-up."I think the teeth are a bit too small," he said.

<ul class="summary-list"><li>Daniel Sprague was a recruiter at Google, contracted via Adecco, and made a six-figure salary. </li><li>Sprague quit in December 2022 ahead of layoffs because he thought it would be hard to progress. </li></ul>This is an as-told-to essay based on a conversation with Daniel Sprague, a 27-year-old who formerly worked at Google in New York and Austin. His employment has been verified by Business Insider. The text has been edited for length and clarity. I joined Google as a full life cycle recruiter for YouTube in September 2021 in New York. When I was offered the role, I was hesitant at first, but looking at YouTube's culture I realized there's no way I wanted to pass up on that opportunity. My role included both sourcing and recruiting, predominantly for product management roles at YouTube. I oversaw the entire candidate hiring process from reaching out to them all the way through to finalizing their offer. It was super exciting and I got to work with some intensely cool people. Things changed in October 2022 because there was a hiring freeze. I was moved over to recruiting at Google for optical engineering roles instead.I didn't have as much fun there because the culture is different from some of the companies that have been acquired by Google like YouTube. At Google, they had definitely over-hired and there just wasn't enough work for everyone. A lot of positions were essentially doing the same thing. Even if you are promoted, your role doesn't change very much, just the salary. You're progressing on paper but it doesn't feel like a true progression outside of that. Although I was slated to be converted to a permanent employee from a contractor, the hiring freeze began and there were no available roles. I realized it would be truly hard to progress and find happiness there. I also saw the writing on the wall because mass layoffs were happening everywhere and there was a lot of speculation in the news about the same thing happening at Google. I didn't want to wait for the layoffs because as a contractor there aren't many benefits you can receive. All the permanent employees would get severance but as a contractor, it's just 'goodbye.' I was earning well over six-figures at Google, but I decided to leave in December 2022 to grow my tattoo business <a target="_blank" href="https://www.instagram.com/everonwardink/">Ever Onward Ink</a> full-time. My income has now increased and I feel more comfortable in my day-to-day life. (BI was able to verify Sprague's income via a copy of his offer email from Google and his recent bank statements.) <h2>I spent my weekends tattooing whilst working at Google </h2><div type="image" title="Daniel Sprague." height="621" width="828" msid="106292896" hostid="261" sizebytes="63412"></div>I started drawing in high school and even won a few Scholastic awards, but I grew up thinking that art was not a way to make money. It was a good hobby, but I'd heard about the starving artist paradigm and it wasn't for me to be sitting there in art school, not really thinking about a future prospect.In college, I did do a few galleries and showcases where I made art specifically for the intent of having it collected. I was introduced to tattooing by a friend a little later on. It seemed a little dangerous and I didn't want to hurt anyone, so I tried out tattooing on fake skin and it came out nice. One day, one of my friends asked if I wanted to do my first tattoo on them. I said no at first because I was honestly scared and I didn't want to do something wrong. But looking at their arm, I realized there's nothing that I can do that they haven't already done. So I ended up tattooing them and it was really exciting to feel the risk of tattooing. It was different to drawing on paper. You feel much more of a connection to who you're working with. I then went on a quest to teach myself how to use the medium. It was very important to me to learn as much as possible about sanitary practice, about hygiene, about ensuring that everything that I did within tattooing was up to par and up to code. I learnt that my tattooing style is graphic surrealism. I merged geometric and realistic components, while maintaining a hard graphic novel style edging on realism.<div type="image" title="One of Sprague's tattoos for a client." height="4032" width="3024" msid="106292897" hostid="261" sizebytes="1764604"></div>Once I became a licensed professional, I would spend my weekends tattooing while holding down my 40-hour job at Google during the week. I spent around 10 hours doing pieces for clients out of a shop in Austin after I moved there in January 2022, and I became appointment only pretty fast. When I moved from YouTube, Google was no longer a long-term role for me. I decided to see how things would play out with my tattoo business once I moved to San Diego in the following months. I opened my books up for San Diego just to put out some feelers and within a few days, I booked my first month there. I knew this was real now. That's when I knew it was time for me to leave Google and begin investing my time and effort into tattooing. <h2>I will never look back </h2>I'm now based in Massachusetts and my routine includes waking up, going to the gym, and finishing my drawings for the day.I start client appointments from around 10 a.m. then I tattoo for about four hours straight. Then I take a break and after that continue tattooing for three hours straight. Although I work 10 hours, four or five days a week now, it doesn't felt like work. My clients generally request larger pieces on both the arms and legs, but I've taken on some rib and back pieces as well. This can take between four and 10 hours depending on the complexity and imagery.I charge clients $1,500 for a 10 hour session in one day. The price range varies depending on how complex and detailed a project is.I have clients flying in from all over, including from Ireland, Turkey, Atlanta, and Indianapolis. I've never experienced this type of appreciation for my work before. It's incredibly humbling to have people who have that much faith in your ability. It feels amazing. I will absolutely never look back because what I don't have to deal with now is feeling micromanaged or feeling like I have to constantly be seeking someone else's approval. I work a lot better with autonomy than I do having someone peering over my shoulder and parroting. This is fully a lifestyle now. I don't think I could see myself doing anything else for the rest of my life.

I quit a six-figure job as a Google recruiter to become a full-time tattoo artist. It feels amazing and I'll never look back. 

<ul><li>India's tattoo industry is burgeoning, estimated to generate around ₹20,000 crore every year.</li><li>But there are no regulations or laws in place to monitor hygiene and best practices.</li><li>The lax standards increase the risk of contamination, not only for customers but for unaware artists as well.</li></ul>Right from beachside stalls at Goa to professional studios at malls, the Indian tattoo industry is bright and booming. It is estimated to generate an annual revenue of ₹20,000 crore. Yet, this heavily fragmented business also lacks something else — regulation and safety. "There's no regulation in India and nobody even bothers — because regulation would be mean taxes. Most tattoo artists aren't paying GST aside from the select few that have professional studios set up," <keyword id="322526" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Vikas-Malani">Vikas Malani</keyword>, the founder and co-owner of <keyword id="8023820" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="BODY-CANVAS-TATTOOS">Body Canvas Tattoos</keyword>, told Business Insider India. Malani has been in the business for nearly two decades with multiple tattoo studios in Mumbai, Delhi and London. He also worked with with celebrities like cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Bollywood actors Anushka Sharma and John Abraham. He explains that until regulations are in place, no one is obligated to follow any hygiene standards or even use the proper tools. "Tattooing isn't just an art, it's a science," he explains, "If you compromise and don't follow hygiene standards, your customer could end up losing his or her life." Flouting standards for cheaper inks Tattooing is not so far from science, medical science primarily. Every time a tattoo needle makes contact with a person, it's also coming in contact with their skin, their blood and the plasma. And, as it penetrates the skin, the ink drops — or pigments — are released into the bloodstream. This is where regulation should come in. Ideally, the ink used for tattooing should be approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or a similar such authority. This is to ensure that there are no metal particles in it — like mercury, nickel or lead. These metals can poison the human body if they enter the bloodstream. But, that isn't always the case. The FDA recently banned six brands from manufacturing body ink but, in India, they are still in circulation. "As many as 80% of the tattoo artists in India are still using these brands because they're cheap — because suppliers are making maximum profits off of these brands," shared Malani. Keeping it not-so-clean The hygiene of the tattoo studio is yet another significant factor. A professional environment to clean surroundings can have a huge impact on the tattoo quality and the incidence of infection. Malani believes that surgical precision needs to be maintained by tattoo parlours. Anything that comes in contact with a customer during the process has to be disposed off. But, in reality not everything goes into the dustbin. They need to be disposed off in a biohazard box, which in turn, gets picked up by a hospital every month. Metal parts used to make the tattoo have to be sterilized. Artists make 90% of the mistakes "As many as 90% of the errors happen by the tattoo artists. The rest 10% where clients are responsible, is only when they don't follow after care," said Malani. An artist should be using gloves when working on a tattoo. Not just normal examination gloves but sterile gloves meant for surgical use. More importantly, artists should also sterilize the area that is going to be tattooed — similar to how nurses sterilize an injection site before delivering a shot. Otherwise, all the germs from travelling or from having pets at home will go right inside a person's bloodstream as the needle penetrates the skin — multiple times. Lastly, artists shouldn't be tinkering around with their phones as they make a tattoo — even if they are wearing gloves. One, all the germs from the phone get transferred onto the gloves which will then touch the tattooed area. Two, the blood and other bodily fluids from the client will get onto the phone. That means once the gloves are off, the germs on the phone will end up back on the hands. It's possible that those hands might touch a third person and start a wider contamination. Technology makes it personal Just as the sophistication of tattoo designs has evolved over time, so has the technology. Earlier artists used to employ magnetic coil machines, which were so simple that anyone can rig them at home. Now, they have rotary machines at their disposal from companies like the Germany-based Cheyenne, which has their own brain to keep the machine from damaging the skin. "The mindset of the people will not change. But, what can change is the use of technology. The I upgrade the technology, the better and more comfortable they feel," states Malani. He claims that the new machines have advanced to such an extent that the pain of getting a tattoo is gone and the risk of infection is negated. Each machine is designed to a particular type of skin — soft, hard, dry, medium texture, oil and sensitive. Accordingly, companies developed four to five different variants. Malani explains that the darker the skin, thicker it gets. The thicker the skin, the strokes of the tattoo needle need to be bigger and dense in order to leave ink behind. White skin , for instance, is thin so it only requires a needle that goes 2.5 millimeters deep. Brown skin, on the other hard, is thicker so it may require a needle that goes 3.5 millimeters to 4 millimeters deep. The innovation of these machines is giving a boost to the tattoo industry worldwide, according to Malani.

India's ₹20,000 crore tattoo industry's lax standards are putting lives at risk

South Korean <keyword id="11930697" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="tattoo" source="Orion">tattoo</keyword> artist Ilwol Hongdam has inked close to 4,000 people in the last 10 years, many of whom flew into Seoul just to see him.With more than <a href="https://www.instagram.com/ilwolhongdam/">371,000 followers on Instagram</a>, he is one of the most well-known names in the South Korean industry. He's drawn in fans around the world with his intricate creations, which are influenced by traditional Korean <keyword id="11931454" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="art" source="Orion">art</keyword>. There's just one problem: What he's doing is illegal.In <keyword id="11944254" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="south-korea" source="Orion">South Korea</keyword>, tattooing itself is not against the <keyword id="11899820" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="law" source="Orion">law</keyword>, but it's defined as a medical procedure that may only be carried out by licensed medical professionals. Hongdam, like the 3,000 other tattoo artists registered with the <a href="http://koreatattoo.or.kr/?ckattempt=2">Korea Tattoo Association</a>, is not a doctor. If caught, <a href="https://www.yna.co.kr/view/AKR20190425122200056">they face a minimum</a> two-year prison sentence or a fine upwards of one million won ($822)."Some artists draw on canvas or even rocks, I happen to draw on skin. Why is that illegal? It's not justified," the 35-year-old told Insider. He is, however, hopeful that change is on its way, especially given the attention that some politicians have bestowed to the issue of late. In the run-up to the presidential elections on Wednesday, ruling party candidate <a href="https://www.facebook.com/jaemyunglee/posts/6809146252460479">Lee Jae-myung has promised</a> to back bills, now pending in parliament, to legalize tattooing. And in June, lawmaker Ryu Ho-jeong <a href="https://koreajoongangdaily.joins.com/2021/06/17/national/politics/tattoo-Ryu-Hojeong-bill/20210617174800385.html">proposed a bill</a> to allow trained tattoo artists to be legally certified. Pictures of her promoting the bill at the National Assembly instantly went viral when she showed up with erasable tattoos on her back.Insider spoke to seven South Korean tattoo artists about the paradox at the core of their profession, as they build up social-media presences to attract customers but hide their workshops in basements to avoid drawing the scrutiny of the law. Among those Insider spoke to, the female tattoo artists described an extra layer of challenges, in which they're unable to report instances of sexual misconduct by customers."People have tried to lobby for tattoo legalization for a long time, but it's never been in the spotlight as much as it has in the past year," Hongdam said."I hope they're very serious and not just doing all this to appeal to young voters," Hongdam said. Neither Lee nor Ryu immediately responded to Insider's request for comment.<h2>Once a stigma, now a trend</h2>While tattoos have long carried a stigma in South Korea, the younger generation has come to embrace them."Having a permanent mark engraved on one's body was a source of social shame and lower status, because they were associated with criminal gangs or slaves," said Jo Elfving-Hwang, director of the Korea Research Centre at the University of Western Australia."But now tattoos are quite popular in Korea, and it's not unusual to see younger people sporting them," Elfving-Hwang continued. "Tattoos are becoming fashionable, and perhaps even a signifier of individuality." According to the <a href="http://koreatattoo.or.kr/?ckattempt=1">Korea Tattoo Association</a>, at least one million people in the country currently have tattoos. The tattooing industry is worth about 200 billion won ($164 million) a year. Top celebrities such as Jungkook of superstar boy band BTS, heart-throb actors So Ji-sub and Ji Chang-wook, as well as K-pop singer Lee Hyori, are all known to have tattoos. Lee has multiple tattoos on her body, including a flower pattern on her shoulder, the word "love" on the back of her neck, script on the back of her right arm, and small motifs on her hands and wrists. She has done multiple cover photo shoots with Cosmopolitan Korea showing off her tattoos, including in 2017, which was <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BQXjgVMFbIV/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=dbdb490d-bf17-430a-bcca-75ca4af0119a">warmly received by fans</a> on Instagram."They're seen as trendsetters," Elfving-Hwang said.<div type="image" title="Lee Hyo-Ri attends 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) at CJ ENM Studio Center on December 11, 2021 in Paju, South Korea." height="2257" width="3010" msid="90070812" hostid="261"></div>Even so, celebrities are still often required to cover up their tattoos on mainstream TV. Jungkook, for example, wore long sleeves and bandages to cover up his hand tattoos <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDLBTN5sHlc">on a talk show aired by public broadcaster KBS</a>.<h2>Working underground</h2>Despite the changing social attitudes, South Korea's law means tattoo artists have to work underground — <a href="https://roadsandkingdoms.com/2017/underground-with-south-koreas-illegal-tattoo-artists/">sometimes literally.</a> Hongdam's studio is in an office building with no visible signage. He only shares the address with customers the day before their appointment. Occasionally, he said, he provides clients with the address of another spot nearby and picks them up from there.Meanwhile, Sol, another popular tattoo artist with more than <a href="https://www.instagram.com/soltattoo/?hl=en">572,000 Instagram followers</a>, runs a nondescript studio in the trendy Hongdae neighborhood. The area is littered with hip cafes and clothing stores, but from looking at the bare white walls outside of Sol's store, passersby would never be able to guess what's inside."You cannot proudly hang a signboard outside your tattoo shop. All tattoo shops in Korea have to be operated in private," said Sol, who is known for his detailed designs of animals and flowers. <div type="image" title="A tattoo done by Sol" height="2666" width="3555" msid="90070814" hostid="261"></div>While the police do not tend to actively go after tattoo artists, the authorities will take action if any of them get reported, Sol and Hongdam said. Both artists said they have avoided trouble so far, but they know of others in the industry who have not been as lucky. In 2019, a tattoo artist with the last name Kim was given three years' probation and fined three million won ($2,450) for tattooing without a medical license, <a href="https://www.yna.co.kr/view/AKR20190425122200056">per Yonhap news agency</a>.And two months ago, another artist was given three years' probation and fined six million won for the same reason, <a href="https://moneys.mt.co.kr/news/mwView.php?no=2022013115218018801">per Korean economic magazine Money S</a>. The penalty wiped out the artist's estimated takings of five million won earned over a year and a half, the outlet said. Top tattoo artists can charge more than $400 an hour, but younger artists would earn much less, Hongdam said.<h2>Even more difficult to be a female tattoo artist</h2>It's perhaps even more challenging for female tattoo artists, who are vulnerable to sexual harassment by customers — but who, because they're operating under the table, cannot report them.A female tattoo artist, who only wishes to go by her <a href="https://www.instagram.com/ragyeom_tattoo/?hl=en">artist name Ragyeom,</a> told Insider: "Tattooing is an illegal business, so revealing ourselves to the police puts us at risk, even if we become victims of abuse."For this reason, it's not uncommon for some female tattoo artists to choose to work solely with female customers, said the artist, who is known for her bold use of colors.<div type="image" title="Ragyeom's tattoo client" height="4096" width="2730" msid="90070816" hostid="261"></div>Fellow female tattoo artist <a href="https://www.instagram.com/youngbinnsohn/?hl=en">Youngbinn Sohn</a>, 30, said several of her female colleagues in the industry have been sent unsolicited sexual images from male clients. Again, the women feel like they can only keep quiet in such instances. "In this business, I am always afraid of getting in trouble," said Sohn, whose tattoo designs involve clean, simple lines.<div type="image" title="Youngbinn Sohn at work in Seoul tattoo studio" height="3127" width="4169" msid="90070818" hostid="261"></div><h2>Instagram stars</h2>There's a stark contrast between how some Korean tattoo artists do their work, and how they advertise their work. While they work in the shadows, some of these artists have become outright famous on social media, particularly on Instagram.The biggest names in the South Korean industry have hundreds of thousands of followers on the platform, with some, like <a href="https://www.instagram.com/oozy_tattoo/">oozy_tattoo</a>, amassing one million fans."For us, social media is everything since we can't openly advertise otherwise," said Hongdam. "I'm grateful for it because it has helped many of us to get our names out there and meet clients from all over the world."Singaporean beauty marketing manager Teresa Chan, 33, told Insider she has flown to Seoul on three separate occasions to get inked by three different artists. She discovered their work on Instagram. Her first tattoo, in 2015, was a triangle with the word "forward," done by Hongdam. The second, in 2017, was of a flying dandelion <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tattooist_doy/?hl=en">inked by Doy</a>, and the third, a year later, a rose and lily hybrid done by <a href="https://www.instagram.com/nandotattooer/">Nando</a>. "Korean tattoos are so different from the styles available elsewhere. Artists there are really good with fine line drawings, which I really admire," Chan said. "Ever since I saw their work on Instagram, I knew I wanted to get tattoos only from them."<div type="image" title="Teresa Chan and Hongdam" height="1084" width="1928" msid="90070820" hostid="261"></div>Before this interview, however, she said she had no idea they were working illicitly. "All of their studios were in quiet residential areas and they weren't easy to find, but I just assumed the artists rented those places because they're cheaper than regular shops," she said. "But all of the artists were very meticulous and professional, and so patient in going through what I wanted with me. I never got the feeling that they were doing any of it secretly," she continued.Tattoo artist Sol believes that being forced to work illegally may have inadvertently made Korean tattoo artists even better at what they do."We must avoid any friction with guests because our work is illegal. The first trailer of UTV Motion Picture’s upcoming movie Katti Batti has been released, and it’s a three-minute-long wild ride of madness and emotions. The pairing of <keyword id="2201" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Kangana-Ranaut">Kangana Ranaut</keyword> and <keyword id="14676" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Imran-Khan">Imran Khan</keyword> looks unusual, but that is the demand of the story, which has been helmed by Kal Ho Naa Ho fame <keyword id="6412743" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Nikhil-Advani">Nikhil Advani</keyword>. 
 
Featuring a commitment-phobic spoilt brat Payal and a lover nerd Maddy, this story, which subtly hints at how the essence of love has changed over the years, focuses on the new-age romance and break-ups. In the trailer, Imran Khan, who dons the role of a geek Madhav Kabra, was seen falling for a bombshell Payal, played by Kangana Ranaut. Madhav, luckily, manages to woo her and they both even start living together. But after a 5-year-long relationship, this couple eventually had a break up because of petty issues like bathroom hygiene. 
 
While Kangana is at her wild best in the movie, handing over packets of birth protection to the landlord just to show that they want to rent a flat to raise kids; Imran plays the usual, soft-hearted guy who is hopelessly in love with a girl who has an exact opposite personality. 
 
The trailer showcases a possible suicide attempt, some tear shedding, and even the alcoholic drinking act while sitting in a bathtub, and all these were done by Imran. Kangana, who manages to look careless, comes across as someone who doesn’t take 5 minutes to break off a 5-year-long live-in relationship.

Besides several news reports, a thunderstorm tattoo inked on her right leg also hints the same.
