He was 79. <keyword id="19988" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="bali" source="Orion">Bali</keyword>'s son Ankush said his father was suffering with Myasthenia gravis, an autoimmune disease caused by communication failure between nerves and muscles, for which he was admitted to a hospital early this year. Ankush said his father was responding well to the treatment but passed away at around 4.30 am.My father left us. He was suffering from Myasthenia gravis. He had mood swings for two-three days. He told the caretaker he wanted to go to the washroom and after coming out he told him he wanted to sit down and he never got up then, he told PTI. Bali made his acting debut with noted filmmaker Lekh Tandon's TV show Doosra Keval as superstar Shah Rukh Khan's uncle and went on to work in TV shows such as period drama Chanakya , Swabhimaan , Des Mein Niklla Hoga Chand , Kumkum Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan , and P.O.W. - Bandi Yuddh Ke . <ul><li>India’s leather sector — which is the second largest leather garment and footwear producer globally — is believed to originate nearly 2 million jobs by 2024. </li><li>The statement was made during an award ceremony certifying candidates with Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in the leather sector. </li><li>India contributes 13% to the total leather production, globally. </li><li>As of now, the sector employs over 2.5 million people in India. </li></ul>Indian government is betting on the leather sector to create jobs. “The leather sector is an export driven sector and has the potential to create 2 million jobs in the next 5 years,” said Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (<keyword id="2952126" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="MSDE">MSDE</keyword>) at an award ceremony. India’s leather sector — is the second largest leather garment and footwear producer globally. “The Government of India has allowed 100% foreign direct investment (FDI) in the sector and rationalized export duty on raw and semi-finished leather. The sector employees over 2.5 million people,” he added. The government extended Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Certificates under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) of Skill India mission, in <keyword id="12864" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Chennai">Chennai</keyword>. Over 2 million candidates have received the certification so far. India contributes 13% to the total leather production, globally. Given that, the exports in the sector are expected to hit $9 billion by 2020. Recognising the RPL certified candidates, Pandey said that “India has always had a rich heritage of leather crafts like footwear and accessories, prepared by highly skilled craftsmen from various clusters like <keyword id="6356295" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="agra">Agra</keyword>, Kanpur, <keyword id="293385" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ambur">Ambur</keyword> and other regions.” “Fashion and trends have a great influence in this industry. There are many opportunities for entrepreneurship in traditional leather trades and new forms of leather substitutes. We need to cater to basic needs as well as luxury segments, with vast potential for exports.” The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship jointly with Leather Sector Skill Council (LSSC) has been providing skill training to professionals in the sector. As of now, the sector employs over 2.5 million people in India. The Skill Development ministry also announced “Mochi Swabhimaan” Initiative. Under this, the LSSC will assist the cobbler community in India for leather-based services, providing better working conditions. She further noted, "They either show up in their full glory or keep you waiting for hours to give just a glimpse. Spotify kills 11 original podcasts, lays off less than 5% staffers

The third season of the hit <keyword id="7745246" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="amazon-series" source="Orion">Amazon series</keyword> "<keyword id="7686959" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="four-more-shots-please" source="Orion">Four More Shots Please</keyword>!" will premiere on October 21, streamer Prime Video announced Friday. Created by Rangita Pritish Nandy and produced by Pritish Nandy Communications, the series is headlined by actors Sayani Gupta, Kirti Kulhari, Bani J and Maanvi Gagroo. According to a press release issued by the streamer, the new season will bring back to screens the lives of four unapologetically flawed women -- Damini (Gupta), Umang (Bani J), Anjana (Kulhari) and Sidhi (Gagroo) who live, love, blunder, and discover what continues to make them tick through their forever friendship in the city of Mumbai. Actors Jim Sarbh, Rohan Mehra, Shilpa Shukla and Sushant Singh join the cast for the third season, which also includes Prateik Babbar, Lisa Ray, Neil Bhooplam, Rajeev Siddharth, Amrita Puri, Simone Singh and Samir Kochhar. Rangita Pritish Nandy called the upcoming chapter of the show as the "most personal season". "Season one, you met Anjana, Damini, Umang and Siddhi, season two, you saw them stumble through life-lessons and blunders, season three, watch our girls own themselves; drama, failures, errors in judgment, losses and warts, all included. "In that sense, season 3 is our most personal season. There is no way that you will not want to be a part of this friendship," the creator said in a statement. Buoyed by the success of the first two instalments, producer Pritish Nandy said the show's team has worked harder to produce a power-packed season three. "'Four More Shots Please!' travels to Italy and Punjab this season, apart from South Mumbai; the drama is bigger, the scale is larger, and the friendship is stronger. The show's nomination at the international Emmys in 2021 is a testament to the fact that 'Four More Shots Please!' has hit a personal note with audiences in India and internationally. "There is really no other show that celebrates female friendships like 'Four More Shots Please!' and I'm hopeful that our fandom will grow substantially with this new season," he added. Aparna Purohit, Head of India Originals at Prime Video India, said "Four More Shots Please!" has been a true labour of love for the streaming service. "It's a celebration of sisterhood.
