In particular, the number of US workers who said they're "excited about AI helping them to complete tasks at work" dropped from 45% to 36%.The US also saw its AI adoption rates increase by only a single percentage point, from 32% to 33% among desk workers. The main drivers of the trend were Gen Zers and millennials, with 30% and 33% respectively frequently consulting AI in place of a colleague.Slack's survey included 17,372 workers in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and the US. The survey found that 38% of users make over 50% of their payment transactions via <keyword id="19900911" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="UPI" source="keywords">UPI</keyword> instead of debit, credit, or any other form of digital transaction. "Only 22 % UPI users surveyed are willing to bear a <keyword id="20813527" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="transaction-fee" source="keywords">transaction fee</keyword> on payments, 75% of respondents stated that they will stop using UPI if a transaction fee is introduced," the survey said. The survey comprising three broad areas, claims to have received 42,000 responses from 308 districts but the number of replies on each question varied. The questions regarding transaction fee on UPI received 15,598 responses. The <keyword id="19907219" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="National-Payments-Corporation-of-India" source="keywords" meta.keywordsubtype="org" meta.entityname="National Payments Corporation of India" meta.hostid="261" meta.entityid="National Payments Corporation of India">National Payments Corporation of India</keyword> (NPCI) posted a record 57% rise in the volume of transactions and 44% rise in value in the 2023-24 fiscal year, compared to the previous fiscal year. For the first time UPI transactions crossed 100 billion and closed at 131 billion in a financial year, compared to 84 billion in 2022-23. In value terms, it touched Rs 199.89 trillion, compared to Rs 139.1 trillion, the report said. The survey found 37 % of respondents shared UPI transaction accounts for more than 50 % of their total payment in value terms. "With UPI rapidly becoming an integral part of nearly 4 in 10 consumers, there is strong resistance to any kind of direct or indirect transaction charges being imposed. Mumbai, Three out of five consumers surveyed in India believe it is normal for people to exaggerate income on <keyword id="20243269" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="loan-applications" source="keywords">loan applications</keyword>, according to a report on people's attitudes toward first-party <keyword id="20490528" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="financial-fraud" source="keywords">financial fraud</keyword>. The survey by global analytics software company FICO stated that more than a quarter (27 per cent) of Indians believe it is normal for people to deliberately misrepresent their income on mortgage applications. "Three in five consumers (63 per cent) think it is OK or normal for people to exaggerate their income on loan applications, significantly more than the global average of 39 per cent," the survey said. More than half (54 per cent) believe it is normal to falsify insurance claims, the global survey which examined 1,000 people in India said. Many Indians consider it fine to exaggerate income on personal loan applications, further complicating financial integrity. Just one third (33 per cent) of consumers believe it is never acceptable to exaggerate income on a personal loan application, while another third (35 per cent) finds it acceptable under specific conditions. "With over 60 per cent of Indian consumers viewing income falsification as acceptable or justified, banks face a very real problem of 'liar loans' that could skew risk assessment and increase bad loan rates," said Aashish Sharma, APAC segment leader for risk lifecycle and decision management at FICO. As many 1,000 Indian adults were surveyed, along with approximately 12,000 other consumers in Canada, U.S., Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, The Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, U.K. and Spain. Globally, attitudes are notably different, with the survey revealing the majority of consumers (56 per cent) firmly reject the idea of exaggerating income on loan applications, viewing it as never acceptable. Just, one in four (24 per cent) consider it permissible in certain circumstances, and only one in seven (15 per cent) view it as a normal practice, the report said. "Many consumers may not see this as harmful behaviour, but it's important to understand that when applying for financial products, applicants typically certify that the information they provide is accurate," Sharma said. Work-life balance is another critical factor. Nearly half (47%) of young professionals say it’s something they carefully consider when looking at new opportunities. In reality, only 25% of Gen Zers see salary as the top motivator when changing jobs. The survey also uncovered another key ambition for Gen Z: a clear career path with opportunities for advancement. While many recruiters (44%) believe that company culture is more important to Gen Z than career progression, the truth is that this generation seeks a mix of both—a positive work culture, but also a chance to climb the ladder. Unstop’s report dives into more than just job-hopping. In fact, Gen Z is projected to outnumber Baby Boomers in the workplace as early as this year (2024). A Glassdoor report recently said that by the end of this year, Gen Z workers will surpass Baby Boomers in numbers within the U.S. workforce.

The survey of 1,456 Indians, having investable surplus between Rs 84 lakh ($100,000) and nearly Rs 17 crore ($2 million), conducted in March found a strong urge for overseas education with 78% of the respondents saying they are keen on a <keyword id="382324" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="foreign-education" source="Orion">foreign education</keyword> for their children. Investable survey is the amount set aside for investment from overall net worth. The <keyword id="23129277" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="global-quality-of-life" source="keywords">Global Quality of Life</keyword> 2024 survey commissioned by foreign lender HSBC said the <keyword id="19900781" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="united-states" source="keywords">United States</keyword> is top overseas destination for Indians, followed by the <keyword id="19956320" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="united-kingdom" source="keywords">United Kingdom</keyword>, <keyword id="19896882" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="canada" source="keywords">Canada</keyword>. <keyword id="19895799" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="australia" source="keywords">Australia</keyword> and <keyword id="19895045" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="singapore" source="keywords">Singapore</keyword>. So strong is the urge for foreign education for the child that the parents are willing to suffer financial strains as well, the survey said, pointing out that the investment in education may come at the sacrifice of retirement savings. The expected or actual annual cost of overseas education works out at $62,364, and may use up to 64% of parents' retirement savings. Parents resort to dipping into general savings, taking loans and selling assets to fund the overseas education, the survey said. The quality of overseas education tops the list of primary reason for considering the overseas education, followed closely by the possibility to specialise in an area, the survey said. The survey said that financial concerns are the biggest worry for parents when the kid flies out for education, and followed by others like social or mental concerns and physical or health concerns.
