Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur is currently planning a sequel to his directorial debut 'Masoom', Variety reported. Here is all we know so far: The film is titled 'Masoom... The New Generation.' Further deets about the project is still awaited. Released in the year 1983, the film was written by the legendary writer Gulzar, 'Masoom' was an adaptation of Erich Segal's 1980 novel 'Man, Woman and Child.' It followed a happily married couple and their two daughters whose lives are disrupted by the arrival of a boy who is the man's son from an earlier affair. The cast included Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi, Jugal Hansraj, <keyword id="20895" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="supriya-pathak" source="Orion">Supriya Pathak</keyword>, <keyword id="79544" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="saeed-jaffrey" source="Orion">Saeed Jaffrey</keyword>, and <keyword id="1262" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="urmila-matondkar" source="Orion">Urmila Matondkar</keyword>. The film received positive responses from the audience. Kapur's last release was the romantic comedy 'What's Love Got to Do with It?,' starring Lily James, Emma Thompson, <keyword id="10284087" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="shazad-latif" source="Orion">Shazad Latif</keyword>, <keyword id="3708284" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="sajal-aly" source="Orion">Sajal Aly</keyword> and Azmi, which debuted at Toronto and opened the Red Sea Film Festival in 2022. It was released theatrically worldwide earlier this year, as per Variety. Kapur is known for his outstanding films like 'Bandit Queen', a British biographical drama 'Elizabeth' for which he was nominated for best director at the BAFTAs and Golden Globes, and its sequel 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age' (2007), which won Cate Blanchett her first acting Oscar, reported Variety. Apart from that, he also directed one of Heath Ledger's last films, the 2002 epic 'The Four Feathers.' Shekhar Kapoor reported to be working on sequel of cult classic film Masoom - All we know so far

Remember, when we told you about the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Brett-Lee-All-Set-To-Be-A-Desi-Hero/articleshow/42026433.cms">acting debut of Australian cricketer Brett Lee</a> a few months back? Looks like Lee has all the time in the world post his retirement from international cricket, because from what we believe, the movie is ready to be released. 
 The first official trailer of the movie was launched last week, and it’s cute to say the least. Lee plays Will, and Australian ‘Single Guy’ who falls for Meera, an Indian ‘Single Mum’ who has recently moved to Australia. The role of Meera has been played by the talented actress <keyword id="29708" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tannishtha-Chatterjee">Tannishtha Chatterjee</keyword>, who works in Indian, British and European cinema, and was last seen in Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain. 
 The trailer shows the culturally diverse people realizing what binds them together, while showing the beautiful city of Sydney. The movie also stars <keyword id="1143694" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Supriya-Pathak-Kapur">Supriya Pathak Kapur</keyword>, <keyword id="117065" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Akash-Khurana">Akash Khurana</keyword> and <keyword id="15438" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Gulshan-Grover">Gulshan Grover</keyword> in supporting roles. The film is the first to be made from the <keyword id="1967536" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Australia-India-Film-Fund">Australia India Film Fund</keyword> (AIFF), which was especially constituted in 2013 to make Australian movies with Indian themes for audience worldwide.

Ever since the news of their alleged engagement broke out, both media and Shahid’s fans are at their toes to find out the details about the wedding, and also about the lucky girl, who is the talk of the industry without even being a part of it. 
When Shahid Kapoor first <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Another-Bollywood-hottie-goes-off-the-Eligible-Bachelor-list/articleshow/46712894.cms">confirmed the news</a> of his marriage preparations, he mentioned a probable wedding by the end of the year, but looks like the families were really eager to see their kids in the wedding attire, because the wedding was then rescheduled to take place in July. 
Shahid, who has been busy shooting the promos for the upcoming reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa could only take out time to be in Delhi just the afternoon before the functions began. As he arrived in the capital, the rain gods welcomed the groom-to-be, and the weather turned as romantic as it could in the humid July summers.

Interestingly, Amitabh’s son Abhishek and the Kapoor starlet Kareena started their careers with the same movie, 15 years back. Not only that, Abhishek was also engaged to the elder Kapoor sister, Karishma, for a brief while.

The actors are constantly bickering with each other on the trip and it results in rib-tickling comedy.

All Is Well, even as Bachchan and Kapoor fight

In what’s called India’s first movie based on destination weddings, we would see Shahid as Jagjinder Joginder, a wedding planner responsible for a destination wedding and Alia as, well, Alia, the sister of the bride.

 The first song from the much-anticipated Dusshehra release is out. It’s sung by Vishal Dadlani and Anusha Mani, with Amit Trivedi’s music and Anvita Dutt’s lyrics, and we see Shahid, one of the best dancers in <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword>, Alia, and <keyword id="2593624" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sanah-Kapur">Sanah Kapur</keyword> (Shahid’s sister from his father’s marriage to actress Supriya Pathak Kapur) grooving to its tunes. The song, Gulaabo, was released online today, after a strong buzz on all major social networking websites for two days. 
 
If reports are to be believed, the first song release of the movie featuring Sanah was Shahid’s Rakshabandhan gift to his pretty sister.

Indian actress <keyword id="30508" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Asin">Asin</keyword> Thottumkal, who is making a comeback after a brief period of absence from the silver screen, is going to tie the knot soon. The Ghajini actress, who was last seen with Akshay Kumar in Khiladi 786, is going to exchange vows with Micromax co-founder Rahul Sharma, one of India's most successful bachelors. 
 
The multilingual actress is rumored to be in a relationship with Sharma for quite some time now, and plans to leave acting or at least take a long break from it post marriage. 
 
Apparently, Asin and Rahul were introduced to each other by actor Akshay Kumar, who was Asin's co-actor in Housefull 2 and Khiladi 786, while being the brand ambassador of Micromax for some time, along with his wife Twinkle Khanna. 
 
This move has added Asin to the elite club of actresses who got married to businessmen. The other members of this club are:

Ever since then, there have been many speculations regarding the wedding and the destination that both of them would be heading to for their honeymoon, if Shahid manages to get time from his professional commitments, which includes judging the upcoming season of the popular dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaa Ja. 
 
First, we heard that the couple would be heading for a destination wedding to Bali, which was later changed to Greece. After Shahid joked about people knowing more about his wedding than he himself knew, these speculations were put to rest for a while. However, since both Shahid and Mira are followers of Radha Soami Satsang Beas, there were some reports that they would be doing a private ceremony in Beas, where the religious organization is headquartered. 
 
All said and done, this all guesswork has been proven wrong, because we have now got hold of Shahid and Mira’s wedding card, which clearly states that it’s going to be a lavish ceremony in one of the most reputed hotels in Gurgaon.

The wedding is going to happen on 7th July 2015, and the card demands no gifts, only blessings.
