The perfectionist actor <keyword id="6355923" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Aamir-Khan">Aamir Khan</keyword> has happily agreed to work with Bollywood actress <keyword id="836886" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sunny-Leone">Sunny Leone</keyword>, who started her career with adult films. 
 Currently, Sunny is in news for being very graceful and polite and remaining calm during an interview in which the journalist repeatedly tried to evoke reactions from her citing her alleged “past”. The interview was widely criticized on social media, and the journalist <keyword id="3212789" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Bhupendra-Chaubey">Bhupendra Chaubey</keyword> was called unfair and judgemental, with his attitude being uncalled for. 
 
The 50-year old actor who has most probably seen the interview after all the uproar posted a message for Sunny on his Facebook page, which read, "I think Sunny conducted herself with a lot of grace and dignity in this interview.... I wish I could have said the same about the interviewer. And yes Sunny, I will be happy to work with you. I have absolutely no problems with your "past", as the interviewer puts it. Stay blessed. Cheers. Aamir" 
 
The reaction came after Chaubey asked her if she thinks that Aamir Khan would ever work with her. To this, the actress calmly replied that he probably wouldn't, but that the question should be aimed at the actor and not her. 
 
Sunny Leone would next be seen in a double role in the adult comedy Mastizaade, which releases this Friday and has Tusshar and Vir Das starring with the Ek Paheli Leela actress.

How do you shame someone who has no regrets in life? Tough nut to crack, isn’t it? That’s exactly how Sunny Leone comes across as. The most googled woman in India, who even surpasses the fanclub of our most popular Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is not in awe of her stardom or whatever it can be called. 
 
She has been cited as the reason for India’s falling moral standards, for ‘misleading’ the youth of the country with her porn star image. Sunny Leone has only one regret and that has nothing to do with her professional life. 
 In a recent television interview with senior journalist <keyword id="3212789" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bhupendra-Chaubey">Bhupendra Chaubey</keyword>, Leone said she still has remorse over the fact that she couldn’t reach home any faster when her mother died. “Except for that, I have no other regrets,” she said confidently. 
 
In fact, Chaubey seemed to have come prepared to attack her on morality issues. 
 
Chiding her and complimenting her in turns, he tried his best to tell Leone she was not something the nation would be proud of. But Karenjit Kaur Vohra, aka Sunny Leone, took none of it. 
 
Her take was simple. I do, what I do, I enjoy whatever I am doing; if you feel offended by my being and choices, feel free to do so. “People’s negativity doesn’t affect me,” she said in a voice that exuded conviction and determination. 
 
Majority of social media seemed to be in support of her, and also stood against Chaubey for the tone of his interview, which had dark shades of very righteous and glorifying elements aplenty. 
 
The 34-year-old Canada born lass ain’t being apologetic about politicians commenting about her influence on India’s youth though there have been numerous instances in the past where she has been squarely and unfairly blamed for poor opinion against women in the country. 
 
“Am I going to be disturbed about this? No! Am I so important that politicians need to spend their time commenting about me, my life and my work,” she says on a serious note, before jocularly adding “I will wait for American politicians to mention me in their speeches!” 
 
Leone, ho made a foray into Hindi films few years ago, admitted to the chaos in film industry and it is the only thing that has frazzled her. 
 
“Looks like there is an order to the chaos in film industry. It’s like everyone knows things will work in some series. I am the only one who stresses out about things going wrong,” Leone said, indicating she still has some distance to go before getting used to the way things work in an unorganized sector called the entertainment industry. 
 
Apart from work, there is nothing else that seems to bother her at the outset. However, it is also pretty evident from that twinkle in her eyes that she is here for a good time. When that ends, she won’t waste even a moment before packing her bags for good. 
 
All the popularity whether good or bad, seems to be doing her simply good. Even in the past, Leone had admitted to the fact that her revenue driven website was receiving most of the traffic from India. “More than 60% of my visitors are from India” she had said, and this has only increased her stake as an actor. 
 
She knows her economy better than her public image. This is probably the reason why she even did an interview that was not positioned in her favour. She has very less to lose, especially to journalists, when it comes to reaching the category of men and women she caters to. 
 
A PETA activist, Leone is highly focused and sensitive to many issues and she crafts her opinions with some sort of ‘on-the-feet’ thinking that other stars can only dream about. She isn’t noisy, or isn’t crass in her approach towards what keeps her life ticking at the moment. When she says work is interesting, she means every word that she says. 
 
Whether it is Mahesh Bhatt’s Jism 2 or Ragini MMS, or Ek Paheli Leela or even the most recent Mastizaade, Leone is at home with her selection of scripts based on the image that she has carved for herself so far. 
 
“I like acting. I am an entertainer” she says, noting the big difference between the two words and what they mean in the film industry. Her small tinge of nervousness notwithstanding, Leone’s interview was something that revealed her sensitive and sensible side, without being loud and garish. No feminism, no sloganeering, no justification – just a clean, simple and to the point responses that were more of introspective comments than being reactionary. 
 
Sunny Leone has this warm disposition about her that places her well above the rest in the league. And, she is good at securing her place, wherever she chooses to stay.

Having launched her recent perfume line ‘Lust,’ in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=dubai&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Dubai</a> barely a week back, the actress is keen to establish herself as an entrepreneur, as well. 
 
Her aim is to create a brand by tapping into various categories. 
 
At the moment, Leone’s recent line of investments includes a franchise for a box league cricket, web-based short stories, and an online game apart from fragrances. She is also keen to enter categories such as shoes, accessories, jewellery and apparels with her own line of products. 
Apart from focusing on Bollywood, the actress who was always interested in business from a young age is keen to expand her brand profile in India.

In fact, the star remembers how as a child she would put up lemonade stands during summers and shovelled snow in the winters to earn money. 
 
Her official foray into the big bad world of business started with her understanding of adult content as a business industry. But, she wanted more. “I wanted to own a website and run my company and build my brand” she said in an interview and what followed was her handling everything. 
 
In order to manage her website, she learnt HTML, video-editing, photography among others and in the process of doing everything from start to finish, Leone also learnt the harsh reality of website traffic. 
 
“In a digital world, traffic is the best thing you can have. So I learnt where to send this traffic and how to capitalise all of it,” she added. 
 
Over the years, that also included her move to India from Canada, Leone has started believing in slow and steady businesses. By her own admission, she doesn’t believe in fast-paced businesses. 
 
It was only after she decided to participate in <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=bigg+boss&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Big Boss</a> did she realise the enormity of the reach her brand had in the Indian market, which ultimately led to her deciding to move to the country with her husband.

While the Lust Deo is priced at Rs 249, the Eau De Toilet comes at Rs 999. 
 
The perfume line has been designed by the actress herself, and includes, women perfumes and men and women deos. 
 
The distribution of the products has already begun, both in the online and offline categories. 
 
 
2. Box-league cricket team Chennai Swaggers

In February, the actress also unveiled her celebrity box league cricket team Chennai Swaggers, as part of a reality show cricket tournament backed by Balaji’s <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=ekta+kapoor&amp;sortorder=effectivedate">Ekta Kapoor </a>and featuring well known television stars as players. 
 
Justifying her decision of buying a cricket team, Leone said that though she loved several games, she fell in love with cricket after coming to India. 
 
Chennai Swaggers features a handful of known names from the Television industry that includes Shabbir Ahluwalia, Mouni Roy, Sangram Singh and Ritwick Dhanjani among others.

This year also saw Leone taking to the pen and churning out original mobile-first collection of erotic short stories under the title Sweet Dreamsin association with Chiki Sarkar’s publishing house, Juggernaut. 
 
Released in April this year, one had to sign in one the Juggernaut app on their mobile phones to buy Sweet Dreams. After purchasing the title, all one had to do is sit back, as one short story would be delivered to their phone daily at 10 pm. 
 
Reportedly, Leone finished writing the 12 erotic short stories in a span of three months.

"You wanted to make your dog immortal. You're not alone," read the tweet, which had a video attached called "Not All Dogs Have to Go to Heaven." "Because you know what, would they have made a promo like that for a documentary about Harvey Weinstein?"I've been physically, emotionally, and sexually abused — and they made a mockery of the whole thing. Previously asked by <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2022/mar/22/bad-vegan-netflix-tv-show-inside-bizarre-world">The Guardian</a> if the show was fair to Melngailis, director Chris Smith said "Look, everything is shades of grey.""We tried to represent it as accurately as we could from the information we had through the documentation that was presented to us and through the interview."<h2>The profits go to Netflix </h2>Romantic scams, and scammer documentaries in general, have proven incredibly lucrative for Netlflix. "Bad Vegan" and "The Tinder Swindler" were both in the top-10 most-viewed shows the week they aired, <a href="https://top10.netflix.com/tv?week=2022-04-03">according to Netflix data.</a>But the stars said that having their story platformed doesn't fix their financial losses. The payment for the rights to their stories didn't cover their debts, they said. Melngailis said that it wasn't worth it for all the backlash and abuse she faced after the documentary aired — which she blames on the show's framing. We tried to represent it as accurately as we could from the information we had through the documentation that was presented to us and through the interview."<h2>From scam victims to heroines</h2>In terms of impact on the lives of scam victims everywhere, Melngailis, Fjellhøy, and Ayleen Charlotte, another one of Simon Leviev's victims, told Insider they were grateful for the opportunity to help people. Despite the hardships that have come from both the scam itself and the aftermath of the documentary, Fjellhøy said it was "worth it" for the love she has also received. "I've gotten so many messages saying I'm inspiring and I'm brave, and they really admire the courage that's taken, which has made it much more worth it," she said, adding that people tell her she'd helped them overcome their embarrassment over being the victim of a scam. Charlotte — the "bad bitch" victim of "The Tinder Swindler," as she put it — had a positive experience with the documentary, she told Insider. "I wanted to put his face out there because nothing had been done with my case. Second, I want to help people. And that's what I did. I mean, I got so many amazing messages from all over the world, and that I gave a lot of people a lot of courage for doing what I did, as well," Charlotte told Insider.Melngailis, while remaining critical of Netflix, agreed that "one of the things that I've heard over and over again — it is usually women but occasionally men — but people who have been manipulated in some kind of similar way feel less alone.""I've also heard from loads of people telling me that watching it has inspired them to try going or shifting towards vegan. So that's nice, at least! A few animals saved, perhaps," she said, ending our email communication with a winking emoji.

The stars of 'The Tinder Swindler' and 'Bad Vegan' say Netflix failed in its portrayal of abuse and manipulation by men

In <a href="https://twitter.com/CBSEveningNews/status/513094741911941120">a new interview</a> with CBS Evening News, former Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta says ISIS emerged as a threat because the US pulled out or Iraq too soon, and became involved in Syria too late.
"I really thought that it was important for us to maintain a presence in Iraq," Panetta, who served as defense secretary and director of central intelligence under Obama, <a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/news/former-defense-secretary-u-s-in-syria-too-late-left-iraq-too-soon/">told CBS in a short clip of a full interview</a> to air on "60 Minutes."
Panetta tells reporter Scott Pelley the entire national security team was unanimous in urging the president to do more to support rebels who, fighting against Bashar al-Assad in Syria at that time, had begun a civil war that now continues to rage more than three years later.
"The real key was how can we develop a leadership group among the opposition that would be able to take control. And my view was to have leverage to do that, we would have to provide the weapons and the training in order for them to really be willing to work with us in that effort."
Panetta isn't the only former Pentagon chief to speak out. On Wednesday, former Defense Secretary Robert Gates - Panetta's predecessor - <a href="http://www.cbsnews.com/news/robert-gates-isis-boots-on-the-ground-needed/">also weighed in on what</a> the U.S. is now doing against ISIS.

And I think that by continuing to repeat that [the U.S. won't put boots on the ground], the president, in effect, traps himself."
Gates also takes issue with the language used, as Obama has said his goal is to "degrade and destroy" ISIS.
"I'm also concerned that the goal has been stated as 'degrade and destroy' or 'degrade and defeat' ISIS. We've been at war with Al Qaeda for 13 years. We have dealt them some terrible blows, including the killing of Osama bin Laden. But I don't think anybody would say that after 13 years we've destroyed or defeated Al Qaeda. So I think to promise that we're going to destroy ISIS or ISIL sets a goal that may be unattainable."

There is variation, colour, and uniqueness in <keyword id="6355784" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="death">death</keyword> that indoor pollution brings with it. Things that you have fallen in love with and think you cannot live without can sometimes enter your <keyword id="6360041" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="20" keywordseo="life">life</keyword> to take it… and this isn’t a hyperbole. Look at perfumes, hair sprays, furniture polish, glues, air fresheners, moth repellents, wood preservatives synthetic materials for building and furnishing and you’ll know what I am talking about. Then there is use of chemical products, pesticides, and household care products that help you transform your home into a swachch home but certainly not a safe home. These are all modern day symbols of the immortal art of Da Vinci as our print and AV ads would want us to believe, but they inch us closer to death in more than one way. 
 You taste, touch, or inhale and you’ll know what I mean when I call them the <keyword id="2750177" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Da-Vinci-of-death">Da Vinci of death</keyword>. Even the smoke from biofuels emits the four dreaded pollutants like the particulates, carbon monoxide, polycyclic organic matter, and formaldehyde… and these aren’t innocent spirals of smoke lending that unique flavour to chapatis and dal. With architects now recommending relatively airtight houses even in India (as we have begun to afford air conditioners and radiators etc) the pollutant level is bound to increase because of the resultant reduction in ventilation. 
 
As I sat mulling over these grim facts, my thoughts decided to play a little game on me and asked, ‘Any favourite pollutions that you think should be flogged?’ 
 
Without wasting a moment, I said, ‘Noise pollution. Political pollution. Indoor pollution.’ 
 
‘Aha!’ said my thoughts, ‘so you don’t think outdoor pollution is as bad as the three you’ve mentioned.’ 
 
‘I didn’t say that, did I?’ I said, ‘but I must admit that indoor pollution can induce infections, initiate lung cancer, and even pulmonary diseases like asthma.’ My thoughts then asked me to choose five Bollywood icons and guess how they would react to this simple question: ‘Do you fear indoor pollution?’ 
 
So, there I was sitting on an inexpensive chair in my sparsely decorated home and zipping over to people like Alia Bhatt, Amjad Khan or Gabbar, Sunny Leone, SRK, and Amitabh Bachchan to hear the famous actors say something in their own way. 
 
Well, Alia Bhatt asked me to repeat the question and then clapped her hands and said, ‘I don’t fear anything but do send me an invite for the event.’ 
 
‘Event?’ I asked, confused. 
 
‘Well yes, you did mention pollution and indoor… remember?’ said Alia, cocking her head, smiling, and adding, ‘I think you’re talking about an indoor event and if it is like that AIB Roast, it is going to be fun. Such events must be purified by smiles.’ Well, so that was a rather short interview with Alia and she wasn’t really wrong… we need to begin with a confident smile before we take any action against indoor pollution. Right? 
 
Gabbar was in his elements when I met and simply walked up and down the room before asking, ‘Kitne pollution hain?’ 
 
I said, ‘Sardar, ek… sirf indoor pollution hai.’ 
 
‘Toh fir darr kaisa?’ Gabbar roared, ‘mera naam le lo aur phir sau saal tak pollushun kuch nahin karega!’ 
 
I’m sure what Gabbar was really trying to tell me was that no pollutant ever exists without another killer instinct being born. Just search for this solution and indoor pollution will be easy to counter. 
 
I found myself with Sunny Leone and she just fluttered her eye-lids and coo-ed, ‘Well, lots of women call me an indoor pollution, and I know I’m deadly. Fear means nothing if you have your own action plan.’ 
 
That’s it… I murmured and thanked her because she had clearly told me that only a well-defined and technologically sound action plan would help. 
 
So, I then hopped over to SRK who just ‘humph-ed and hurr-ed! me aside and then taking off his shirt to show me some flabby abs, said, ‘I don’t fear no one. Indoor or outdoor. Poll or no poll. I shun them all. I have to rush to make another flop… bye!’ Well, I interpret this scurried answer as a warning that indoor pollution isn’t something that must be allowed to stay on and cause all those headaches, dry eyes, nasal congestion bouts, nausea, and fatigue… just act fast! Speed is of essence. Obviously then, indoor pollution must not be your guest for life… it could be devastating indeed! 
 
When I asked Sr Bachchan the same question, he replied, ‘Babu ji would have quoted these lines from one of his poems.’ And then he recited two lines before leaving me with my thoughts. 
 
ऐसा सुनता, उस पार, प्रिये, 
ये साधन भी छिन जाएँगे; 
तब मानव की चेतनता का 
आधार न जाने क्या होगा! 
इस पार, प्रिये मधु है तुम हो, 
उस पार न जाने क्या होगा! 
 
And Amitabh too had hit the nail in his own special way… and the lines did seem to talk so favourably about the unexpected losses on the other side, that is, if you crossed over to times of severe indoor pollution. The beauty of a great poem is that it interprets every situation the best way. 
 
So yes, indoor pollution is indeed something that even the Bollywood icons acknowledged in a different manner… and we ordinary mortals must not really overlook the hazards that it poses. 
 
We need to be aware of the issues surrounding indoor pollution… and even other forms of pollution, of course. I mention the indoor form because most of us tend to spend a lot of time indoors and so cannot afford to let it destroy our lives. And, by the way, did I mention that pollutants exist in micron sizes so you cannot actually pick them up and put them in a recycle bag. These micro-sized monsters need specialised busters… though you can reduce your exposure to pollutants if you know what to do in certain cases. 
 
It will be helpful to know that broken CFLs releases mercury, a neurotoxin in the air… so the best action is to simply open the windows and let fresh air come and clear the environment. 
 
Your gadgets have plastic parts… and plastics made with polyvinyl chloride emit phthalates that may lead to hormonal abnormalities and reproductive problems. Plastics also release polybrominated diphenyl ethers, which are flame-retardant chemicals known to cause neurobehavioral changes. So what does one do? Simple. Encourage adequate ventilation until the chemical odour goes away. Be regular in vacuuming around computers, printers, and televisions. 
 
Even glues and adhesives aren’t as virtuous as they seem with their relationship with acetone or methyl ethyl ketone that irritates eyes and affects the nervous system. Rubber cement has n-hexane, a neurotoxin and adhesives are known to have toxic formaldehyde. The secret of escaping these hazards is to encourage a fair degree of ventilation in the house. 
 
Kitchen with their platoon of stoves, heaters, and fireplaces can have an abundance of carbon monoxide that can cause headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and even death in the absence of proper ventilation. Nitrogen dioxides and other particulates, doctors say, can cause respiratory disorders and inflammation of the eyes, nose, and throat. 
 
Isn’t all this serious enough? Isn’t it time to realise that pollution is much more than just exhaust fumes on busy traffic congested roads. It is right there inside a home that you have been thinking of as a safe haven all this while. Pollution isn’t just in the Ganges or existing only as garbage piles on the slopes of pristine mountains—it is right under your nose inside your house. Yes, pollution is surely transforming this world into a global garbage can, but if you do not allow your awareness instincts to act right, your home will be a stinking source of illness and disease even before any other form of pollution overwhelms existence. Therefore, it is time to sit up and say: indoor pollution is a reality and I want our think-tanks to serve us a solution. Prevent your home from becoming a Da Vinci of death!
