<p>New Mexico State's <keyword id="1754699" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="Sim-Bhullar">Sim Bhullar</keyword> is the biggest player in <keyword id="1737297" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="60" keywordseo="College-Basketball">college basketball</keyword> at 7'5", 355 pounds. </p>
<p>Even among the giants of big-time college basketball, he stands out. If his team would have gone a few rounds further in the tournament, big Sim would have become one of the Cinderella stories of the tournament.</p>
<p>Instead, St. Louis beat NMSU 64-44 today, and his season ended right as the world was becoming enamored with him.</p>

7'5", 355-Pound Cult Hero Has Been Eliminated From The NCAA Tournament

Pittsburgh (USA), May 1 () NBA Academy India product Jagshaanbir Singh has been signed by the Point Park University men's basketball team as its overseas player for the 2020-21 season.<p> The seven feet tall center was most recently at Golden State Prep in California. </p><p> Jagshaanbir was part of the first-ever class selected to participate in the NBA Academy India. </p><p> When the program was launched in 2017, he was among 22 elite male prospects who were selected following a nationwide search of basketball talent in India called ACG-NBA Jump. </p><p> After receiving training from NBA Academy India, he came to the United States to play on the post-grad level at Golden State Prep. </p><p> "We are really excited to have Jagshaan as part of the Point Park University family," Pioneers head coach Joe Lewandowski said in a statement issued by NBA India. </p><p> "Jagshaan has great size and athleticism as well as a tremendous understanding of the game. He has been well-coached. We are excited about his potential."</p><p> "We're really excited about our entire 2020 recruiting class, but this one is a huge pickup," added associate head coach Daryn Freedman, who has a history of coaching big men from India, including former NBA player Sim Bhullar. </p><p> During his time with NBA Academy India, Jagshaanbir was selected for the NBA's Asia Pacific Team camp held in China. </p> In August 2018, he represented the Indian national team at the FIBA U18 Asian Championship in Thailand. <p><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><img src="https://static-ssl.businessinsider.com/image/551f0aa8eab8eaae6fa43755-900-674/sim-bhullar-playing-defense-1.jpg" border="0" alt="sim bhullar playing defense"><p class="source"><span>AP</span></p></img></div><p></p></div></div>The <a href="http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/12599985/sacramento-kings-add-sim-bhullar-historic-move">Sacramento Kings announced the signing of Sim Bhullar</a> to a 10-day contract on Thursday.</p><p>Bhullar, at a massive 7-5, 360 pounds, is the first NBA player of Indian descent.</p><p>After playing two years at New Mexico State University, Bhullar went undrafted and played with the Kings' Summer League team in Las Vegas.</p><p>Though he played just 10 minutes in Summer League, he got a training camp invite with the Kings before he was sent down to their D-League affiliate, the Reno Bighorns.</p><p>Despite Bhullar's size - and that <a href="http://www.theguardian.com/sport/blog/2015/apr/03/sim-bhullar-nbas-first-player-of-indian-descent-worked-hard-to-defy-odds?CMP=share_btn_tw">Bighorns coach David Arseneault Jr . said Bhullar wasn't in great shape</a> - he excelled in a fast-paced system and worked himself into shape in D-League.</p><p>He averaged 10 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks per game with a D-League-leading 72% shooting.
