Shruti Haasan Sets A New Trend With Joganiyan

The trailer starts with a romantic and more importantly clean shaven John Abraham, who looks so much in love with <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Shruti-Haasan-Sets-A-New-Trend-With-Joganiyan/articleshow/45525300.cms">Shruti Haasan</a> in sceneic beaches of Seychelles. However, the happiness is short lived as Haasan’s character probably dies, leaving Kabir with a broken heart and quite some stubble. 
 
The scene then shifts to a pawn shop that he owns and manages, named as KA Pawn Shop, after his character Kabir Ahlawat. An 8-year old girl, who calls him handsome (thus the title) deposits a camera bag in the shop against 500 Rupees, which she wants to use to learn nail art. Just when Kabir is getting his smile back and bonding with Naomi, she gets abducted by drug mafia and thus starts the mission of his life, to get the little girl back at any cost. 
 
The second half of the trailer shows why the makers are promoting the movie as the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Rocky-Handsome-India-finally-has-its-own-James-Bond-equivalent/articleshow/50669076.cms">best action movie of the year</a>, because pretty much every stunt that you can imagine a man carrying nothing but a knife has been done, and there comes a time even in the 3-minute long trailer that you want a break from the violence and bloodshed. 
 Needless to say, Abraham looks perfect for the role of an assassin, with his ripped muscles and dead expressions, and the villain of the movie, who reminds you of Roadies fame twins Raghu and Rajiv, does justice to his small appearance. What comes as a surprise is that the villain is none other than <keyword id="6485515" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Nishikant-Kamat">Nishikant Kamat</keyword> himself, who has directed the movie, having helmed hit movies like Force and <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Here-is-the-official-trailer-of-Drishyam-starring-Ajay-Devgan-and-Tabu/articleshow/47543051.cms">Drishyam</a>. 
 
Beneath the action, it is the moving tale of a man who never had a child trying to rescue a child who never had a father figure in her life, and we are sure that Kamat, who is experienced in handling both actions and emotions, must have done justice to both the angels in the story. 
 
Produced by John Abraham under his banner John Abraham Entertainment and Sunir Khetrapal’s Azure Entertainment, the movie has got its music by Sunny and Inder Bawra, Ankit Tiwari and Bombay Rockers. Southern Beauties Who Are Rocking Bollywood

Mumbai, First part of Prabhas-led action film series "<keyword id="10367331" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="salaar" source="Orion">Salaar</keyword>" will hit the theatres on December 22, the makers announced Friday, setting up stage for a <keyword id="25892" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="box-office" source="Orion">box office</keyword> clash with superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "<keyword id="13651161" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="dunki" source="Orion">Dunki</keyword>" releasing on the same day. Producer Hombale Films shared the release date of the much-anticipated film, titled '"Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire", on the banner's official page on X. "#SalaarCeaseFire Worldwide Release On Dec 22, 2023," the post read. The movie was originally scheduled to premiere on September 28 but earlier this month the release was pushed by the makers due to "unforseen circumstances". The first part of the pan-India film series is billed as a big-budget action adventure. It is directed by Prashanth Neel of the "KGF" franchise fame and produced by Vijay Kiragandur. The film will also feature Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Eshwari Rao, Jagapathi Babu and Sriya Reddy. "Dunki" is directed by Rajkumar Hirani from a script he co-wrote with Abhijaat Joshi and Kanika Dhillon. The film will be Shah Rukh's third release of 2023 after "Pathaan" and "Jawan". Both the films have crossed Rs 1000 crore mark at the global box office.

Mumbai, Filmmaker Prashanth Neel says movies like his "<keyword id="6400922" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="kgf" source="Orion">KGF</keyword>" franchise that organically travel across the country do well, a phenomenon he hopes is repeated with his latest directorial "<keyword id="10367331" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="salaar" source="Orion">Salaar</keyword>: Part 1 - Ceasefire". Neel and Yash, the lead star of "KGF" series, rose to national prominence after the success of "KGF: Chapter 1", the 2018 Kannada period action film. Its 2022 follow-up, "KGF: Chapter 2" also starred Bollywood actors Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt in key roles. The director, who made his debut with 2014's "Ugramm", said he never plans his films as pan-India projects. "I've written a story and I've executed it. I don't know if it ('Salaar') is going to be a pan-India movie or not. But if it becomes a pan-India movie, then that's an absolute bonus for all of us. Like, 'KGF' happened very organically. "Movies that happen organically always do well. You can't plan to make a pan-India movie, you can't plan and say that I'm going to bring these actors from this industry to make it a pan-India movie. It doesn't work like that," Neel told PTI in an interview here. "Salaar" revolves around two friends Deva and Vardha, played by <keyword id="104063" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="prabhas" source="Orion">Prabhas</keyword> and <keyword id="572189" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="prithviraj-sukumaran" source="Orion">Prithviraj Sukumaran</keyword>, who end up becoming arch rivals. It will be released on Friday. The 43-year-old director said the journey of the film started over 15 years ago. "It was an idea that was in my head. But it needed a very big budget. So, I made my first film 'Ugramm', then I made 'KGF'. I was occupied with 'KGF' for almost eight years. During COVID-19, I narrated this subject ('Salaar') to Prabhas sir and he agreed to do it," he recalled. The USP of "Salaar" is an emotion between two friends and how this emotion translates to violence forms the core of the story, Neel said. According to the director, equal importance should be given to the story and the characters in big-budget films. "We make a movie to tell a story and we want the right characters, right actors to portray every role. There's a commercial aspect with a star and we get bigger budgets to do what we want. But the criteria is the same that this is the character, it is not the hero who is playing the hero because if we think like that then we have lost the battle," he added. With "Salaar", Neel said his aim was for Prabhas ("Baahubali") to shed his superstar persona. "There was never a pressure to make 'Salaar'. The idea is to make sure that the actor looks like a character. You don't want to show Prabhas as Prabhas, you want to show him as a character and I tried our best to do something like that," he said. While the director acknowledged that Prabhas has had a difficult run at the box office with his recent releases "Adipurush" and "Radhe Shyam", he said a star can always bounce back after a hit film. "Prabhas is a big star. After 'Baahubali', he became the biggest star. People are not going to forget something like that. Stars have always been stars; they can have one flop or 20 flops, they just need to give one hit. Recently, <keyword id="1671" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="shah-rukh-khan" source="Orion">Shah Rukh Khan</keyword> showed us that a star is always a star, there's no denying that," Neel added. A box office showdown is expected between "Salaar" and Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki". The latter, starring Shah Rukh Khan, will hit the screens a day before "Salaar" on Thursday. About the release, Neel said he doesn't meddle in the business aspect of a movie. "I don't get involved in the logistics of what happens after the movie is ready. My brief is I've to make a movie on a given budget and I've to give it to them at a time that they want to release," he said. The filmmaker said he has utmost respect for Hirani and Shah Rukh. "I loved whatever they put out (referring to assets of 'Dunki'). People always want to see the most human thing in any trailer or teaser, so we try to do that. However, the latest released poster of his upcoming movie <keyword id="2186017" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rocky-Handsome">Rocky Handsome</keyword> makes the wait look worthwhile. 
 Directed by Force-fame <keyword id="6485515" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Nishikant-Kamat">Nishikant Kamat</keyword>, who last won accolades for Drishyam, this movie presents Abraham in the role of Kabir Ahlawat, or Rocky, a gangster (or an undercover cop, who knows). Interestingly, the trailer tells us that there is no record of his existence before 2009, so it would be an interesting mystery to grip the audience. 
 
Like we knew beforehand, the movie carries both actions and emotions. While the action part is managed by John Abraham, who can be seen fighting a number of people single-handedly, the emotion part is brought in by Diya Chalwad, a cute girl who calls Rocky as Handsome, hence the title of the movie. 
 
The teaser doesn’t show Shruti Haasan, Abraham’s leading lady, but we get to see an eyeful of the handsome actor, which we don’t mind. 
 
Slated to release on 25th March, the movie has been produced by John himself under his banner John Abraham Entertainment, and is co-produced by Azure Entertainment and T-Series.
