<keyword id="89958" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shraddha-Kapoor">Shraddha Kapoor</keyword>, who rose to fame with the portrayal of Arohi Keshav Shirke in 2013 release <keyword id="780293" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Aashiqui-2">Aashiqui 2</keyword>, is celebrating her 25th birthday today. Here in, we have one sharp look at the professional journey of one of the most popular young actresses of Indian cinema. 
 
1. The first time we saw Shraddha Kapoor on the silver screen was when she donned the role of a studious geek Aparna Khanna who volunteers in a poker experiment. The year was 2010 and the movie that marked her debut was <keyword id="16035" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Teen-Patti">Teen Patti</keyword>, in which she starred along Amitabh Bachchan and R. Madhavan. The movie could not do well at the box office, resulting in a career setback for Shraddha. Reportedly, she also lost her role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s My Friend Pinto because of the movie’s failure. 
 
2. Next year, in 2011, we saw her as a girl next door who gets her heart broken and plans revenge in <keyword id="595028" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Luv-ka-the-End">Luv Ka The End</keyword>. She shared the screen space with Taaha Shah and Ali Zafar. The film was the first production venture of Y-Films, Yash Raj Films’ division for making youth-centric films. Although the film went unnoticed, Shraddha’s performance was appreciated by critics. 
 
3. After taking a year-long break, the young Kapoor lass returned to the screens with the musical romantic saga Aashiqui 2. The movie, which also had Aditya Roy Kapur, was highly successful and Shraddha Kapoor was noticed for her good looks as well as acting prowess. 
 
4. Next in line for the lady was a guest role in Dharma Productions’ Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, in which she played Vasudha, a Tamilian girl in love with a Sikh boy. The lead pair of the movie was Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor, and Shraddha’s role was limited to a few scenes. 
 
5. Came 2014 and Shraddha was seen as Ayesha in another musical romantic thriller Ek Villain. Her role was that of a young girl who falls in love with a goon and transforms him into a family man, only to be killed by a psychopath killer. Her role in the movie was limited to a few flashback scenes other than some songs, given the fact that her character gets killed in the first 15 minutes. 
 
6. Towards the end of 2014, we saw the pretty lady doing a role in Haider, for ace director Vishal Bhardwaj. She portrayed the role of Arshiya, a young Kashmiri journalist in love with the main lead, played by Shahid Kapoor. Her performance and hard work in the movie to get into the skin of a Kashmiri girl were appreciated. 
 
7. She also did an item number, called Dance Basanti, in the movie Ungli. 
 
8. In 2015, she would be seen in Remo D’souza’s next <keyword id="1870207" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="ABCD-2">ABCD 2</keyword>, which is the sequel to 2013’s ABCD: Any Body Can Dance. She is paired opposite Varun Dhawan and portrays a dancer in the movie. Reportedly, she has been working hard to get into the shoes of a dancer. The movie would release in June 2015. 
 
9. She would also began shooting for Rock On 2, the sequel to Rock On!!, which released in 2008. The movie would also stars Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli and would be shot in Shillong. 
 
10. Other than acting, Shraddha Kapoor also has a passion for singing, given her relations with Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle, two of India’s most reputed singers. Shraddha’s mother Shivangi Kapoor is the daughter of Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhonsle’s paternal aunt. Shivangi herself is a trained singer, and Shraddha has surely got her singing skills from her. In the recently concluded Global Indian Music Awards, Shraddha Kapoor was awarded the ‘Celebrity Singer Of The Year’ award.

Shraddha Kapoor Turns 25! A Look At Her Bollywood Journey So Far

The last time we saw <keyword id="133664" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Tiger-Shroff">Tiger Shroff</keyword> in a movie was in 2014, when he debuted with <keyword id="1184791" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Heropanti">Heropanti</keyword>. Thanks to the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Grew-up-admiring-Hrithik-Roshan-for-his-fitness-Tiger-Shroff/articleshow/48955049.cms">trained martial artist </a>that Shroff is, we saw him doing some really great action in that movie. It’s been two years since his debut, and even though newcomers usually don’t wait for that a long, we were convinced that there must be something about <keyword id="2134292" type="ENTERTAINMENT" weightage="100" keywordseo="Baaghi">Baaghi</keyword> that Tiger was willing to take that risk. 
 
With the trailer of Baaghi out on the birthday of Shroff’s idol Aamir Khan yesterday, we are convinced that Tiger was right to have waited this long. 
 The trailer starts with <keyword id="89958" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Shraddha-Kapoor">Shraddha Kapoor</keyword> narrating her life as Sia, and how she meets and falls in love with Ronny, played by Tiger. Both are rebels in their own right, but then comes the antagonist Raghav (Sudheer Babu), who shoots Ronny while claiming to love Sia more than anything. 
 
Ronny recuperates, learns some more martial arts (like that’s possible) and comes back to ‘literally’ break bones, bang people’s heads in poles, push them into bricked walls while showing off his killer moves, and the trailer even counts the number of people he hits in those 3 minutes. 
The action is obviously a notch higher than <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Box-Office-Kochadaiiyaan-Thrives-On-Rajini-Power-Heropanti-Soaring-High/articleshow/35710189.cms">Heropanti</a>, even more because while in the first film only Tiger did the stunts, this time, the leading lady <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Shraddha-Kapoor-Turns-25-A-Look-At-Her-Bollywood-Journey-So-Far/articleshow/46441960.cms">Shraddha</a> has also managed to give kickass action scenes.

However, there is one thing that is pricking me, and I hope that others too find it disturbing to the core. The makers, in this 3-minute long trailer, have told everything that there was to know about the movie. We know that Sia and Ronny would meet, fall in love, he would be shot and considered dead by Raghav, and would return to kill him. Whatever happened to the good old ‘let’s keep something hidden from viewers’ philosophy? Why would people, who have no such interest in action sequence, go and watch this movie when they know the entire plot, and the little action that they need is shown in abundance in the trailer, remember 114 ‘body counts’? 
 
Directed by Heropanti fame <keyword id="616900" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sabbir-Khan">Sabbir Khan</keyword>, the movie releases on April 29th.
