When Indian <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=prime+minister+narendra+modi">Prime Minister Narendra Modi</a> sat down for dinner, hosted by Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), Hamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, there was something else also which added flavour to talks related to <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=investment+in+India">investment opportunities</a>. 
 
Indeed, it was food. Modi, who is on two-day <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=UAE">UAE visit</a>, did not miss his Gujarati cuisine at all as master <keyword id="11910" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Chef-Sanjeev-Kapoor">chef Sanjeev Kapoor</keyword> was there to delight everybody with his cooking. 
 
Kapoor was especially flown to <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=abu+dhabi">Abu Dhabi</a> on Sunday to cook a special vegetarian meal for Modi, who is a strict vegetarian, and he also cooked for the Royals present at the dinner.

Here’s what master chef Sanjeev Kapoor cooked for PM Modi and the Royals yesterday!

Masterchef <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=sanjeev+kapoor">Sanjeev Kapoor</a> having successfully ventured into a lot of businesses is now catching up with the trend. With a number of<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=start+ups"> start ups</a> crowding the Indian enterprise scenario, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=sanjeev+kapoor">Kapoor of Khana Khazana</a> fame will now be investing in food startups by backing mobile-based aggregator ZuperMeal, a marketplace and delivery service for home-cooked meals. 
 
Kapoor and Ravi Saxena, cofounder of kitchen appliance maker Wonderchef, along with two foreign partners will invest $2 million (about 13 crore) together in the two-month old Mumbai-based startup for an undisclosed stake. The company was founded by Saxena's wife Pallavi along with Balasubramanian A and Prabhakar Banerjee, both engineers and Indian Institute of Management graduates. 
 
Kapoor said keeping in mind that <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=women+empowerment">women empowerment</a> and skill development are key priorities outlined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ZuperMeal helps Indian women to use their skills to make money and take pride that their food is recognised. 
 
"Our idea of empowering homemakers through ZuperMeal is not just transactions, but we will also teach them. Ultimately, this is a skillset and product that they already have and we are enabling them to earn through it," Kapoor told ET.

The winning party BJP invited the families of those killed in the West Bengal political violence which erupted just before the last phase of polling. This move angered Mamata Banerjee the chief minister of the state and the head of Trinamool Congress, who declined an invitation to the attend the ceremony. <ul><li><keyword id="830092" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Zomato">Zomato</keyword> has launched a video section on its platform, which will have 18 original shows. </li><li>Starting Monday, the platform is going to offer viewers and foodies original shows, recipes and more with over 2,000 videos.</li><li>This makes the <keyword id="2955508" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="food-aggregator">food aggregator</keyword> unicorn the latest one to join the Indian OTT race. </li></ul>Zomato knows you order food from the app while binge-watching stuff on Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar etc. But the food aggregator doesn’t want you to leave its app. So it has launched its own video platform and original shows. Through the video section on the Zomato app, the platform is going to offer original shows, recipes, and more with over 2,000 videos. It's launching 18 original shows, each of which will have episodes ranging between 3 to 15 minutes. The shows have been shot on a vertical frame making way for mobile-easy viewing. These videos will range between comedy, reality, fiction, advice, celebrity interviews and will explore food in unique, engaging and entertaining videos, Zomato said in a statement. The released trailer shows content from star Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, comedians like Sumukhi Suresh and Sahil Shah and a cooking show with Bollywood stars which will be hosted by Janice Sequiera. The Indian OTT space has been buzzing with new entrants and mergers. Recently, e-commerce giant Flipkart announced its entry into the video content war, which in India is currently led by the likes of Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and Hotstar. Smaller players like AltBalaji and Zee5 had announced a partnership to produce content together. Meanwhile, Zomato’s entry into the video space comes at a time when its food vertical has been in the eye of multiple controversies thanks to its discounting features like Zomato Gold and Infinity Dining.The National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) launched a ‘logout’ movement last week claiming that the business practices of aggregators are unethical. Now, Zomato has put a ‘pause’ on its infinity dining feature.

Mumbai, Apr 15 () Bollywood celebrities such as director Onir, actor Sunny Leone and author Tahira Kashyap are utilising their time at home during the national lockdown to keep the creativity flowing: from making short films, creating web shows to narrating fictional stories, all on the Internet.With cinema halls shut and all production suspended due to the coronavirus, there has been a boom in content for online platforms.Actors are going live on Facebook and Instagram to interact with fans, and musicians in the country are performing online gigs to ease the tension. Some, like Sunny, have also started a digital chat show.Tahira was one of the firsts to start a video series titled "The Lockdown Tales", where she narrates mini fictional stories - aided by sound effects - on Instagram. So far, the writer has uploaded four stories, chronicling the lives of people through fictional characters who have been affected by the lockdown.The idea to take to the digital storytelling was the "most natural" for her, she said. "It wasn't only because of the lockdown. I had to bring forth my most creative self. I was overwhelmed with the situation. I was oscillating between being hopeful and devastated, knowing what all is happening. Each one of us is living these moments and I wanted to put words, memories and stories to these moments," Tahira told .Actor Shreya Dhanwanthary of "The Family Man" fame, decided to make her directorial debut with the micro-series "A Viral Wedding: Made In Lockdown". The made-from-home series follows the story of a social media influencer (Shreya), who refuses to cancel her wedding due to the lockdown."I thought of doing something on the current scenario. Nobody had ever thought that the entire world would be on pause mode. This is unprecedented. It is an attempt to reflect on the reality of the situation in a light-hearted way through this micro-series," Shreya said.The actor believes the shot-at-home format could possibly become a new "avenue" for the entertainment industry. "We are thinking about newer ways to entertain people," she said. Onir has started inviting budding filmmakers to utilise their time in the lockdown by making short film indoors, which he and frequent collaborator-actor Sanjay Suri will judge.Onir was surprised by the response - it grew in numbers every week - and said the whole idea was to engage people in something creative."For me it started with 'Lockdown Diaries' where everyday I was putting out videos of cooking and various things I'm doing. I thought why not extend this. I'm anyway doing my own videos, which are motivational, but a lot of people -- actors and filmmakers -- approach you on social media. "I thought this is a good time to do something from home. This is a good way to look for talent also at the same time you're giving something for people to do, to engage themselves," Onir said. The sentiment to "mobilise creative minds to express different aspects of these times" was what made Suri come on board."It's wonderful that people are able to create in such trying times. Perhaps the most touching stories in recent times will emerge from these feelings. Be it short stories, inspirational videos with workouts, cooking recipes or even live session counselling or chats that people have been doing. "Many may critique it, but I feel these may inspire, educate, sensitise or even purely entertain someone somewhere positively," the actor-producer said.Recently, ad-filmmaker Prasoon Pandey virtually directed the short film "Family", which featured stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Diljit Dosanjh among others.When Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the lockdown last month, Prasoon felt it was the right time to do something."We were all trapped, if you look at it, and there was no point in just sitting and waiting. I started writing and several ideas came to me. I just wanted to use this time to convey a larger point - to send across a social message using entertainment, through TV and the Internet," he added.
