The regulator instructed stock exchanges, clearing corporations, and depositories constituted as MIIs to ensure that any charges recovered from the end client are 'True to Label'. It means that if a certain charge is levied on the end client by members -- stock brokers, depository participants, clearing members -- it should be ensured by MIIs that the same amount is received by them. "To begin with, the new charge structure designed by MIIs should give due consideration to the existing per unit charges realised by MIIs, so that the end-clients are benefited from the reduction of charges," SEBI said in a circular on Monday. The regulator has asked MIIs to comply with these additional principles while designing the processes for charges levied on their members, which are to be recovered from the end clients. However, the realty sector is one of the worst hit by the pandemic. And, according to analysts, the industry is facing its worst slowdown in the last five years. This risk is compounded by the fact that Macrotech Developers also has high indebtedness, which will partially be financed by the funds it raises from its ₹2,500 crore initial public offering (IPO). Considering that most of the company's projects are based out of the Mumbai Metro Region (MMR), its debt may be a cause for concern. The capital intensive and high indebtedness should be a hurdle when looking for further financing. “The high leverage ratio limits the scope of the company to absorb any shocks of unforeseen events,” said <keyword id="6357264" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="capital-market">Capital Market</keyword> in its review. Others, like <keyword id="197560" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Reliance-Securities">Reliance Securities</keyword>, believe that while there are risk factors involved, the IPO seems to be reasonably priced as compared to its competitors, like Godrej Properties and DLF, at a price band of ₹482 to ₹486. The draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) shows that Macrotech Developers’ aggregate debt stood at ₹18,662.19 crore as of 31 December 2020. “Macrotech Developers’ plan to reduce net debt to ₹12,700 crore in the coming quarters negates concerns over high levering. Further, strong project portfolio and monetisation of huge land banks offer comfort,” said Reliance Securities in its report. The company currently has 91 completed projects under its belt with another 36 in the works. This includes plans to develop a logistics and industrial park of over 800 acres in Mumbai, near Palava. “If the company does not have access to funds required on favourable terms, it may be required to delay or abandon some or all planned projects or reduce the scale of operations,” noted Capital Markets. At 10:05 am, the share price of Craftsman Automation was hovering around ₹1,415, down by 5% over the issue price. The engineering products and services company floated its ₹824 crore initial public offer (IPO) earlier this month. The IPO was oversubscribed by 3.82 times, with qualified institutional investors leading the fray. The Coimbatore-based Craftsman Automation plans to repay its debts worth ₹120 crore from the proceeds of the IPO. The remaining amount will go to the promoters and investors who are selling their shares. The grey market premium for Craftsman Automation’s shares was hovering around the ₹30-35 mark, which translates to approximately 2% of the issue price of ₹1,490. It is worth noting that grey market premium is not an official measure of market premium. Craftsman Automation commenced operations in 1986. It has vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities and primarily caters to three business verticals – automotive-powertrain, automotive-aluminum, and industrial &amp; engineering. Craftsman is the leading player when it comes to machining of cylinder blocks and cylinder heads which are used in the commercial vehicles and construction equipment industries. Powerful Indians lament the loss of EU to UK

<img class="gwt-Image" src="/photo/48101649.cms" style="width: 800px; height: 600px;" /> An unexpected dry spell this <keyword id="6358301" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Monsoon">monsoon</keyword> season might prompt the farmers to plant too much, too fast, thus raising fears of lower yields and surging food prices in a mostly impoverished nation. 
	 
	 

	Food prices are a political hot potato in India, where more than a quarter of its population of 1.2 billion people live on a mere 74 cents or less per day. In fact, high food prices have already pushed the country's June consumer inflation to an eight-month high. 
 

	That is why the ongoing dryness in central, western and southern India - key producing regions for cotton, soybean, corn, sugarcane, pulses and rice - is a big cause for worry. Poor output of summer crops would further lift food prices, restricting the central bank from cutting lending rates, crucial to boosting Asia's third-biggest economy. 
 

	"The outlook for inflation over the next few months depends squarely on monsoon rains for the remainder of the season," HSBC said this week. Farm sector accounts for 15 per cent of its economy and given half its farmland lacks irrigation, the monsoons are crucial. 
 

	A heavy downpour early last month had lifted the rain surplus to 28 per cent, raising farmers' hopes of a good June-September monsoon season despite forecasts for the emergence of an El Nino weather pattern. But following the dry spell, rains are now 6 percent below normal, with the deficit as high as 52 per cent in some regions, weather department data shows. 
 "Sowing has nearly stopped due to the dry spell. Even sown crops are under severe stress," said Vikas Deshmukh, <keyword id="6355165" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Agriculture">agriculture</keyword> commissioner of Maharashtra state, India's second-biggest cotton and soybean producer as well as its top sugar producer, to Reuters. 

	Farmers had initially rushed to sow seeds after ample rains, bringing total planting levels to 44.5 million hectares by July 10, up 62 per cent year on year. 
 

	But the higher number does not give a correct picture as monsoon in 2014 was delayed and so was the sowing, said B.V. Mehta, executive director of the Solvent Extractors' Association. In 2013, when rains were ample, by this time farmers had planted on nearly 52 million hectares. 
 

	For millions of farmers , where three fifths of the population depend on agriculture for their livelihood, the fate of a single crop can be the difference between life and death. 
 

	Earlier this year, dozens of debt-laden farmers committed suicide after damage from unseasonal rains, and poor summer-crop yields would exacerbate the pain for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government that is struggling to address rural distress. 
 

	"I can sow crops once again when we get rains, but I don't have money to buy seeds," said Narayan Patil, a farmer from Sarve village of Jalgaon district, 400 km north-east to Mumbai, to Reuters. 
 

	For Patil, and several others, the outlook is grim. 
 

	The official forecast remains that this year India could suffer its first drought since 2009 because of El Nino, which can lead to scorching weather across Asia. 
 

	Maximum temperatures in central and southern India are currently up to 6 degree Celsius above normal, hurting crop growth, said Nitin Kalantri, a pulses dealer.
 

	A drop in domestic output could lift overseas purchases of edible oils and pulses by India, the world's biggest importer of both, while limiting its rice and cotton exports. 
 

	"Crop yields are likely to be lower than normal this year even if monsoon becomes active in next few days," said Vandana Bharti, Assistant Vice-President (Commodity) with SMC Global Securities Ltd, to Reuters.
