HGHL Holdings has beneficial interest in 4.27 lakh shares of common stock of Quaker Chemical Corporation/Quaker Houghton, USA, GOCL Corporation said in a stock-exchange filing. Repco Home Finance dips 4% The shares of Repco Home Finance lost 4% during the trade on September 21. The Care Ratings downgraded the rating for the ₹8,645 crore long-term bank facilities of the company to AA-minus with a stable outlook from AA with a negative outlook. RITES down 2% The shares state-owned RITES lost 2% after the board approved buyback of shares amounting up to ₹257 crore. The company said that it would buy shares at a price of ₹265 apiece, which is at a premium of 5% as of 9:45 am. Tata Metaliks lost 3% The shares of Tata Metaliks Limited were trading 3% lower after the company on Friday announced a planned shutdown of its plant. Top stock movers — Gulf Oil, Tata Metaliks, Future Group, HCL Tech, Repco Home Finance, PNB and more

Shares of <keyword id="1590679" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Repco-Home-Finance">Repco Home Finance</keyword> Ltd., a mid-sized <keyword id="1150063" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="mortgage-loans">mortgage loans</keyword> provider, hit fresh highs after the company reported a smart rise in its quarterly earnings. 
 
Repco Home said its first quarter Net Profit rose 22 percent to 30.2 crore rupees compared with 24.8 crore rupees in the same quarter a year ago. Sales during April-June gained 28 percent to 200 crore rupees from 156 crore rupees in the year ago period. 
 
Repco rose 15 rupees, or 2 percent, to 753.50 rupees, a record high on the National Stock Exchange, where 2.13 lakh shares were traded by 12:40 pm compared with the 5-day average of 1.12 lakh shares. 
 
Repco's market capitalisation has jumped 72 percent in the past one year to 4,677 crore rupees as investors bought into a growing appetite for home loans in middle income Indians.

HSBC shares in Hong Kong fell as much as 4.4 per cet to HK$29.60 earlier in the day while Standard Chartered shares dropped 3.8 per cent to HK$35.80 per share. According to reports based on leaked suspicious activity reports (SARs) filed by banks and other financial firms with the US Department of Treasury's <keyword id="1450638" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Financial-Crimes-Enforcement-Network">Financial Crimes Enforcement Network</keyword> (FinCEN), both HSBC and Standard Chartered allegedly moved suspicious funds despite red flags. The FinCEN files are more than 2,500 documents, most of which were files that banks sent to the US authorities between 2000 and 2017. These documents are some of the international banking system's most closely guarded secrets. Banks use them to report suspicious behaviour but they are not proof of wrongdoing or crime. Former HDFC Bank CEO Aditya Puri joins Carlyle Group —  will advise the global investment firm on Asia bets

Stocks had a modest uptick on Thursday morning thanks to a positive close on Wall Street and two days of holidays in Chinese markets, which kept bad news at bay.
 

	The<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=+Nifty"> Nifty</a> rose 73 points to 7,789 in early deals, snapping a 4-day down draft of relentless selling. Ambuja Cement, ACC, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel and Tata Motors were the top gainers on the Index. Idea Cellular, Hind Unilever, Lupin, GAIL and Coal India lost ground. The Advance-Decline Ratio was 44/6 on the <keyword id="6354813" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="nifty">Nifty</keyword>. 

	<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Infosys">Infosys</a>, <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=DLF">DLF</a> and <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=State+Bank+of+India">State Bank of India</a> were the top traded stocks on the National Stock Exchange and it was a rare day that all three traded in positive territory.
 

	Broader market indices also showed modest gains. All sectorial indices were up in the first half hour of trade. Stocks in Japan and Korea edged higher. Chinese markets are shut for two days of local holidays 
 

	The mood was cautiously optimistic on the <a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/searchresult.cms?query=Bombay+Stock+Exchange">Bombay Stock Exchange</a> where the Sensex gained 180 points to 25,663 levels. Tata Motors lead the gainers with M&amp;M, Hindalco, ITC and ONGC also making it to the list. Lupin, TCS and GAIL were under selling pressure.
 <keyword id="6354731" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="State-Bank-Of-India">State Bank of India</keyword>, Tata Motors and ICICI Bank were the top traded stocks on the Sensex. Bulls made tentative purchases in the futures and options segment even as the bears covered their short positions. Front month Nifty futures gained 71 points to 7,813 points. <keyword id="6362997" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="DLF">DLF</keyword>, Tata Motors DVR, HDIL and IB Real Estate were top gaining futures while Glenmark, Coal India, Idea and Kaveri Seed posted losses. 

	Aptech, Repco Home Finance, Bayer Crop Science and Kitex Garments made it to the list of volume buzzers on the NSE while Mahindra &amp; Mahindra was a major stock that figured on the list of 52-week lows on the exchange.

Here's how the Markets opened today

The <keyword id="6354813" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="nifty">Nifty</keyword> snapped a 2-day rally on Friday as traders remained on sidelines ahead of the weekend and concentrated more on earnings related stocks rather than blue chips.
 

	The Nifty fell 24 points to end the week at 8,565. Its Advance-Decline ratio was 16/34 with BHEL, Coal India, State Bank of India and Bank of Baroda leading the loser's side. ONGC, Tata Motors, BPCL and Vedanta were on the gainers list on the Index, which added 0.4 percent this week. BHEL was the most actively traded stock on the Nifty with 2.02 crore shares changing hands.
 

	There was all-round profit booking with major indices such as CNX Nifty Junior, CNX 100, CNX 200 and CNX 500 ending in the red.
 

	
		
			The Bank Nifty dropped 134 points to 18,893 as traders booked partial gains after a 6-day advance. The CNX PSU bank Index was the top loser, down 2.4 percent. The trend in other sectoral indices was bearish. CNX Metals, CNX IT, CNX Media and CNX FMCG lost ground. 
		 
		
			On the Bombay Stock Exchange, the <keyword id="6484188" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Sensex">Sensex</keyword> fell 62 points to close at 28,237 points. NTPC, Bajaj Auto, Cipla and TCS were the top losers on the Index, whereas Hindalco, Sun Pharma and Infosys posted modest gains. The Advance-Decline Ratio stood at a negative 10/20 on the Sensex, which rose 0.5 percent this week.
		 
		
			
				
					Bears dominated the wider market for the second day running with just 1,373 stocks gaining ground versus 1,547 fell below Thursday's closing prices.
				 
				
					The trend remained flat in the derivatives space with Nifty Futures closing just a shade below the 8,600-point mark. Media, Capital goods, Fertilisers and Textiles sectors were top prices losers with rising open interest. The Advance-Decline Ratio favoured the bears with a ratio of 63/96 in the futures and Options market. 
				 
				
					The weekly picture favoured beaten down stocks with top gainers including: JP Power, JP Associates, Union Bank and Ceat. Top losers were led by JSW Energy, India Cements, BHEL and Coal India.
				 
				
					BHEL was the biggest disappointment when it came to earnings, as also Bombay Dyeing and Monte Carlo. Big cheers were reserved for KEI Industries, Neyveli Lignite, Finolex Industries and Repco Home Finance that announced brilliant set of numbers.
