The deal will run till March 2020. This includes multi-platform media and sponsorship rights globally.
 Through its network of international affiliates and other broadcasters worldwide, content will be distributed in over 100 countries, reaching millions of cricket lovers. Apart from English, Ten <keyword id="6356028" type="COMPANY" weightage="40" keywordseo="Sports">Sports</keyword> will also be broadcasting the matches in Hindi and other regional languages.
 Ten Sports will be the host broadcaster for <keyword id="6355572" type="COUNTRY" weightage="80" keywordseo="Sri-Lanka">Sri Lanka</keyword> cricket and will be responsible for ensuring consistent and high-level production. There will strong focus on digital engagement, branding and promotion of Sri Lanka cricket to improve the viewer experience.
 <keyword id="1603508" type="PERSON" weightage="40" keywordseo="Rajesh-Sethi">Rajesh Sethi</keyword>, CEO of Ten Sports, said, "We are delighted to further extend our partnership with Sri Lanka Cricket Board, with whom we have shared a very strong relationship over the past decade. It holds long-term rights for WWE, <keyword id="133416" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="40" keywordseo="UEFA-Champions-League">UEFA Champions League</keyword>, French League 1, US Open Tennis, ATP and WTA, and <keyword id="193108" type="CITY" weightage="40" keywordseo="Capital-One">Capital One</keyword> Cup, <keyword id="62139" type="SPORT" weightage="40" keywordseo="European-Tour">European Tour</keyword> and Asian Tour Golf among other exciting properties. It will be also be telecasting the Asian Games and <keyword id="6354367" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="40" keywordseo="Commonwealth-Games">Commonwealth Games</keyword> this year.

However, director Rohit Shetty is not the first Indian director to have thought of shooting a song in a single go. In the past, there have been songs or sequences where the director didn’t call for a cut and shot it in one go. 
 
Surely, this takes a lot of planning, rehearsal, and retakes, but what comes out in the final cut is spellbinding, and completely worth it.

Chale Jaise Hawaein (Main Hoon Na, 2004) Director <keyword id="3783" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Farah-Khan">Farah Khan</keyword> decided to shoot the opening sequence for this movie in a single take, and it was all the way more difficult because unlike Roop Tera Mastana, this song had a lot of dance steps, extras, background dancers, along with <keyword id="3872" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amrita-rao">Amrita Rao</keyword>, the actress. Farah Khan choreographed the first 02:40 minutes of the song in a single take.

I Wanna Make Love To You (Aitraaz, 2004) The Abbas-Mustan movie starring <keyword id="2823" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Akshay-Kumar">Akshay Kumar</keyword>, <keyword id="1655" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Priyanka-Chopra">Priyanka Chopra</keyword>, and <keyword id="2165" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kareena-Kapoor">Kareena Kapoor</keyword> had this sensual song, which was shot in one room, and in one take. The 03:39-minute song was sung by <keyword id="5293" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sunidhi-Chauhan">Sunidhi Chauhan</keyword>, with music composed by <keyword id="8539" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Himesh-Reshammiya">Himesh Reshammiya</keyword>.

Ek Villain (2014) The movie starring Sidharth Malhotra, <keyword id="89958" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Shraddha-Kapoor">Shraddha Kapoor</keyword> and Riteish Deshmukh had a fight sequence, which was 2-minutes long, and was shot in a single take. The sequence showed Malhota getting onto a ship and fighting with dozens of goons, one by one, in a single take. The scene was brilliantly executed because the fight looked real and the background music added a lot of drama to the scene.

6. Gallan Goodiyaan (Dil Dhadakne Do, 2015) 
This song from 2015's comedy-drama had a lot of actors, including Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Rahul Bose, Ridhuma Sud, Zarina Wahab, Vikrant Massey, Parmeet Sethi, Divya Seth, and Manoj Pahwa dancing with hundreds of background songs. Out of all the songs listed, this one has the most fast-paced beats, and is also the longest one-take song (04:38 minutes). Directed by Zoya Akhtar, this song was sung by ​Yashita Sharma, Manish Kumar Tipu, Farhan Akhtar, Shankar Mahadevan, and Sukhwinder Singh, with Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's music and Bosco-Ceaser's choreography. ​Thanks to our reader ​Jahangir Hussain for pointing out that we had missed this song.

SRK Kajol to shoot one take song in Dilwale, but it’s not Bollywood’s first

The round was led by Tribe Capital, IFC Emerging Asia Fund and Bermuda-based VEF. A unicorn, in startup parlance, is a private firm valued at or more than $1 billion. According to a few media reports citing anonymous sources, BlackBuck was valued at $1.02 billion. BlackBuck’s existing investors Wellington Management, Sands Capital and World Bank’s investment arm International Finance Corporation (IFC) also participated in the round. It was valued at $850 million in its last Series D fundraise in 2019. The company intends to use this funding to further expand and launch new service offerings. It will invest heavily, it said, in product and data science capabilities to get better efficiency in freight matching for the Indian trucking ecosystem. The startup will also scale its financial services and insurance offerings with new partnerships. “It has been six years and we are just getting started to make a difference. We continue to dedicate ourselves for the foreseeable future to solve fundamental Indian trucking problems. The new financing round gives us more firepower to invest in fundamentally hard trucking problems and continue deepening our reach and impact,” said Rajesh Yabaji, co-founder and chief executive (CEO) of BlackBuck. BlackBuck was founded in 2015 by Yabaji, Chanakya Hridaya, and Ramasubramaniam. The company has over 1.2 million trucks registered on its platform across 700 districts in over 1,000 industrial hubs. Its customers include Hindustan Unilever, Coca Cola, Asian Paints and Tata Group. The company’s CEO claims that BlackBuck has witnessed 20-fold growth on the supply side and a 10-fold growth in the demand side over the last two years, thanks to digital adoption. Arjun Sethi, co-founder and partner at Tribe Capital, added that the company’s ability to measure output and productivity growth has streamlined logistical challenges for the logistics industry over a short time frame. BlackBuck is the 16th startup to enter the unicorn club this year, compared to 11 unicorns for the whole of 2020. Trucking startup BlackBuck is India’s 16th unicorn this year after a $67 million fundraise

The Mumbai-based fund is led by Rahul Chandra and Bala Srinivasa, both veterans in the venture capital space. The fund has closed its first round for ₹325 crore and hopes to raise a total of ₹700 crore. Chandra in a <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/arkam-ventures-middle-india-design-rahul-chandra/">LinkedIn post</a> explained that the fund will be focusing on the next 400 million users of India and the companies that cater to that. “Our thesis for this fund is “Middle India by Design”. We believe that the Next 400M market - consumers just below the top of the pyramid making between ₹3 lakh and ₹20 lakh a year in family income - will be the primary driver of a new digital India. Almost seventy percent of wallet share of these consumers is distributed across four sectors - financial services, healthcare, food/grocery and mobility,” he wrote. With these four sectors in mind, the VC firm will look at founders who are developing tech solutions in them. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, India’s homegrown investment firms are gaining momentum. And that’s what has been advocated by the likes of Infosys co-founder <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/business/news/infosys-co-founder-explains-how-the-next-google-facebook-or-amazon-can-be-born-out-of-india/articleshow/76243554.cms">Kris Gopalakrishnan</a> as well. “We have to create Indian VC (venture capital) firms. We have to create Indian funds that are billion dollars or ten billion dollars. The wealth is there, you know, whatever data we have shows that you know, maybe two trillion to three trillion dollars of wealth is there in private hands in India. So some of that has to actually flow into this ecosystem,” Gopalakrishnan said in a chat with Sudhir Sethi of Chiratae Ventures. Chandra too believes that the coronavirus pandemic has “significantly accelerated the digitization momentum”. “While the short-term is likely to be challenging for start-ups with a lot of uncertainty around the business environment, we think it's a great time to start a new business or find ways to stay relevant with an existing one. Tough times are often the crucible from which brilliant ideas and market winners emerge and we don't believe that this crisis will be any different,” he wrote. Net neutrality is the concept that makes it mandatory for all service providers to offer access to consumers to all content on the internet including websites and applications, irrespective of the source and no special favors or blocking of any applications or websites. 
 Unfortunately, the giant telecos in the country are lobbying against this. Common users as well as many corporates, especially in those in the tech domain are coming out to support net neutrality. The huge debate erupted when <keyword id="15491" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Airtel">Airtel</keyword> came up with Zero programme and e-commerce giant Flipkart decided to party with it. Post the huge outburst on the social media, Flipkart announced that it was walking away from the Zero initiative. 
 Airtel too has come out and said that it is not against net Neutrality in India and the company is now looking at reaching out to its customers through direct mails. The mail quotes <keyword id="521074" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Gopal-Vittal">Gopal Vittal</keyword>, MD and CEO of Airtel, who states, “Our vision is to have every Indian on the internet. There are millions of Indians who think that the internet is expensive and do not know what it can do for them. We believe that every Indian has the right to be on the internet. We know that if we allow them to experience the joys of the internet they will join the digital revolution” 
 
Talking specifically about the recent controversy, Vittal says, “There has been a deliberate effort by some quarters to confuse people that we will offer differential speeds or differential access for different sites. This is untrue. After all we earn revenues from data. If there are more customers who are on the Internet the better it is for our business. Our revenues are not dependent on which sites they visit because we charge on the basis of consumption of mega bytes not which site they visited.”

Even Cellular Operators Association in India (COAI) has come up and shared that it is all up for net neutrality. In its statement it also made a strong pitch for ‘Net Equality’ that will enable access to Internet for a Billion Indians as part of the Government’s Digital India vision. 
 
The Association urged all stakeholders to have a comprehensive and informed debate on the subject of Net Neutrality keeping in mind the requirements of India and its citizens. An important and complex subject such as this, which is still being debated in many countries, which has taken years to conclude in many other countries and which is the subject of litigation in some, should not be left to the opinion of a few. 
 
It further said, “We need the same spirit to connect a Billion Indians to the Internet. This means innovations across the ecosystem – affordable smartphones, more efficient networks, even more broad ranging applications (especially in areas such as education, health, governance) and pricing flexibility – that promotes greater digital inclusion. Only then can our citizens in rural India, or from a lower economic strata, be empowered through internet access”.

Ritesh Agarwal CEO, OYO Rooms (revolutionary budget hotel) in support of net neutrality said, “Net neutrality is absolutely essential for a free and competitive market especially now since there is a start- up boom in the country particularly in the online sector. Most importantly Internet was created to break boundaries and as concerned industry players, we should maintain that. We support net neutrality and will do all needed to build this further.” 
 
Manav Sethi, Group CMO, Askme believes, "Internet is an essential service and should be provided without any discrimination, zero rating platforms can seriously affect the freedom and growth of the billions of entrepreneurs, quite against the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’ vision of our government. Any violation of internet neutrality can have a serious bearing on effective and fair competition in the market place. We feel it’s the government’s responsibility to ensure a level playing field for home grown entrepreneurs and at the same time protect the interests of netizens." 
 
Rajesh Magow, Co-Founder and CEO-India, MakeMyTrip says, "We are committed to a free internet and fully support Net Neutrality. Innovation is core to our DNA and a free internet will foster innovation and boost the pace of economic growth of the country. A 2011 McKinsey Report on ‘The Impact Of Internet On Economic Growth &amp; Prosperity’ suggests that higher internet penetration leads to a rise in living standard and drives business transformation and economic modernization. In light of this analysis, it will be important for India to not only accelerate the penetration of internet, but also make sure that the next set of mobile-first users who are coming online from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities find valuable services, in a language they understand, on the internet. We urge all government departments to consider how internet can be integrated in their respective areas, in order to provide value to this first-time internet user, instead of treating the internet as a separate vertical. We would also like to propose a democratic network-neutral platform, where companies can come together to build solutions for these first-time internet users (in their native languages), to support the growth and penetration of internet in India, without any commercial arrangement between the parties involved." 
 
Tripti Lochan, CEO VML says, “Keeping neutrality of data is sacred. It levels the playing field and as a country gives us hope - that we are about enterprise and not just about scale, where big eats small. It's about a very simple fundamental principle - equality. Today, consciously, let's make a choice that counts.” 
 
Kallol Borah, CEO &amp; Founder, Lukup Media believes, "The internet needs to be neutral - no internet application provider ‎or consumer should be deprived of or get a different treatment based on a special contract or payment made to the telecom or internet service provider. However, we all know that telecom and internet infrastructure requires huge investments and since that infrastructure is so poor and is not available to all, there is a case for a levy made equally on all internet application providers by internet service providers based on outgoing traffic that such internet application providers consume. So, if a website sends out X GB of data another website sends out Y GB of data, they will pay an additional charge per GB to the internet service provider."
