Till date, Baahubali is the most expensive production in the history of Indian cinema. It took this movie just two days to enter the Rs100-crore club worldwide, and no other Indian film has ever achieved this record before. The film grossed around Rs 255 crore in the first week of its release, with a rating of 9.4 out of 10 in <keyword id="256908" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Imdb">IMDB</keyword>. 
 
This movie has heart-pumping 45-minute war sequence which was shot at in a 110-acre area at Ramoji Film City. In business world, small entrepreneurs face many giant competitors who can eat small company’s market share by limiting their growth. Sometimes, entrepreneurs lose their spirit because of constraints of resources such as manpower, budget and time. But, this war teaches 10 important lessons for small &amp; smart companies to fight against giant competitors with more resources. 
 
1. Information can change the power equation When Sivagami (<keyword id="2963261" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Raj-Mata">Raj Mata</keyword>) got to know that a <keyword id="24322" type="POSITION" weightage="20" keywordseo="spy">spy</keyword> had stolen the military secrets of Mahishmati kingdom, she immediately sent both the princes - <keyword id="2963262" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Amarendra-Baahubali">Amarendra Baahubali</keyword> &amp; <keyword id="2941912" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Bhallala-Deva">Bhallala Deva</keyword> to catch hold of him. Mahishmati’s core leadership team understood their competitor – Kalakeya, who was four times bigger in size with 1,00,000 soldiers as compared to Mahishmati’s 25,000 soldiers and was also known for being extremely cruel.

3. Think in smart, proactive and strategic way 
Amarendra Baahubali suggested using Trishul Vyuh to fight against Kalakeya’s huge army. Mahishmati’s leaders debated on options, division of soldiers, available time for execution, possible responses from enemy and agreed on expectations. They all got on the same page before the start of the war. 
 
In business, it is important for the leadership team to be convinced and on the same page about strategy and its execution plan. Leaders should know their responsibilities, and available time and resources to achieve their goals. 
 
4. Speed of execution matters 
Amarendra Baahubali and Bhallala Deva realized limitation of time with them and planned to reach Kalakeya’s leader and kill him before he understands their strategy and gets ready to respond back. 
 
In business, speed of execution matters a lot. A company can win more market share, if it is ahead of its competitors in execution. 
 
5. Both purpose &amp; passion are important To set up a standard of courage, inspire soldiers to fight together for a purpose, Mahishmati kingdom’s princes performed an institution to take blessings of their God. Drums, flags, banners and shouts of <keyword id="2963259" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Jai-Mahishmati">Jai Mahishmati</keyword> to show respect for their kingdom, motivated army to fight passionately for a purpose.

6. Use resources creatively 
Bijjala Deva gave better weapons to his son Bhallala Deva and dull weapons to Amarendra Baahubali. In constraints, Baahubali figured out a creative way to attack enemies using large clothes with fire. By using large clothes with fire (innovative resources), Baahubali not only killed enemy’s soldiers but also saved his soldiers (limited resources). 
 
In business, a leader may have lesser and poor quality resources as compared to competitors, but lack of resources could bound him to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions. 
 
7. Importance of humanity with purpose 
Kalakeya’s soldiers brought captured civilians between Mahishmati’s soldiers and themselves. To reach enemy’s soldiers, Bhallala Deva didn’t stop his chariot and civilians got killed through moving swords in his chariot. On the other hand, Baahubali protected civilians first and then killed enemy’s soldiers. 
 
In business, if a leader is just focused on getting market share and wins over competition, and ignores wellbeing of his team, then sooner or later he looses respect &amp; credibility required to lead the company. Moreover, his business gets affected as media and concerned authorities can take action against the company. 
 
8. Attack at unguarded spots 
Due to moving swords in Bhallala Deva’s chariot, many soldiers of Kalakeya were getting killed and it was very difficult to stop Bhallala Deva and fight with him. Rather than attacking from front, Kalakeya’s leader attacked his chariot’s wheel and broke the chariot. Kalakeya’s leader was sitting at height on an elephant and it was difficult to attack him. Besides attacking him, Bhallala Deva attacked his elephant on head to bring his enemy on ground. 
 
In business, it could be difficult to fight head on with a competitor. In that case, leaders have to figure out weak points of competitors and then attack on those spots. 
 
9. Kill fear to reenergise team 
When enemies broke the defence made by Kattappa’s army unit and raised their flag, Mahishmati’s soldiers lost their spirit and they started running away owing to fear of death. Baahubali realised the criticality of situation and reached to inspire soldiers to fight and made them realise that if they can face death, there is nothing that they can't achieve. Their spirits rose to an extraordinary level; Kattappa broke Kalakeya’s flag and soldiers started fighting again. 
 
In business, competitors would attack on moral of your employees by popularising some fake news &amp; weak points. But, with his motivation, a leader can prepare his employees to fight &amp; respond rather than loosing spirit. 
 
10. Without morale, resources have no meaning <keyword id="2963258" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Kalakeya-army">Kalakeya army</keyword> was four times of army of Mahishmati. But, when Kalakeya’s leader lost fight against Baahubali, Kalakeya army lost its confidence and started running away.

New Delhi, Singer <keyword id="806680" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Narendra-Chanchal">Narendra Chanchal</keyword>, who redefined popular devotional singing in India, is no more. According to reports, Narendra Chanchal died on Friday in the city. He was 80. Celebrities like <keyword id="31278" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Lata-Mangeshkar">Lata Mangeshkar</keyword>, Daler Mehndi and <keyword id="6389563" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Madhur-Bhandarkar">Madhur Bhandarkar</keyword> have paid tributes to the late singer. Chanchal shot to fame with his '<keyword id="24503" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="jagran">Jagran</keyword>' hits in the seventies and the eighties, particularly songs dedicated to Sherawali Mata. His ode to Sherawali Mata "Chalo bulava aaya hai" continues to be popular till date. Chanchal is best known for his live performances. The singer also made a mark in Bollywood. He is known for rendering the title song of the 1974 Amitabh Bachchan film "Benaam", composed by RD Burman. In the same year, he also sang "Mehngai mar gayi" for the film "Roti Kapda Aur Makaan". He also famously sang "Beshak mandir masjid todo" in Raj Kapoor's 1973 superhit "Bobby", starring Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia. He also sang "Tu ne mujhe bulaya" with Mohammed Rafi for the hit 1980 film "Aasha". Playback legend Lata Mangeshkar expressed her grief over his demise, tweeting: "He was a very good human being." She hoped he rests in peace. Singer-composer Vishal Dadlani shared that "Shri #NarendraChanchal ji will be remembered forever through the songs he sang. I doubt anyone will ever walk up to Vaishnodevi without hearing his voice resounding through the hills". Actor Manoj Bajpayee tweeted: "What a singer with such inspiring voice.singing your songs now in your memory.god bless you soul with peace." Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar tweeted: "Saddened to hear demise of Singer #NarendraChanchal ji. He will be remembered for his bhajans and some remarkable songs in Hindi films, My heartfelt condolences to his admirers and family. Om Shanti." Singer Daler Mehndi also felt "deeply saddened to learn that iconic and most loved #NarendraChanchal ji has left us for the heavenly abode. In prayers for his soul to rest in peace. Widespread protests against the 'Agnipath' scheme for the recruitment of armed forces have spread to several districts in Uttar Pradesh. Bulandshahr, Meerut, Agra, Mathura, Varanasi, Unnao, Gorakhpur, Gonda, Rae Bareli and Ballia are among the districts that have witnessed protests, with youth demanding the scheme's withdrawal. In several districts, the police had to resort to lathi charge and fire teargas shells to disperse the mob. In Bulandshahr, protesters blocked the busy GT Road. "We strongly oppose the new recruitment scheme. We want the old recruitment scheme back," one of the protesters said. Bulandshahr Superintendent of Police, Shlok Kumar said: "Some youngsters gathered to stage a protest in the morning. They later called it off on the assurance given by police officials." Ballia was the worst affected district since protesters set bogies of the Sealdah Express on fire, vandalised railway property and then attacked shops and kiosks outside the station. Job aspirants pelted stones at a government bus in Agra, triggering deployment of additional police personnel to control the situation. In Firozabad, protesters vandalised roadways buses. Youth also gathered along the Agra-Delhi highway, seeking the revival of the old recruitment policy in the armed forces. Traffic was blocked for several hours on this route. Agra Senior Superintendent of Police, Sudhir Kumar Singh, said: "A large number of students come to Agra to prepare for exams through coaching centres. These job aspirants reached here and blocked the road." In Rae Bareli and Gonda, the protesters raised slogans and blocked traffic. The <keyword id="13558307" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="agnipath-scheme" source="Orion">Agnipath scheme</keyword> was announced on June 14 to recruit jawans into the Army, Navy and the Air Force for a four-year period followed by compulsory retirement for most without gratuity and pension benefits. Calling the scheme a 'golden opportunity' to join the nation's defence system and to serve the country, Singh thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allowing age waiver for the first batch to be recruited through the scheme. However, the Defence Minister's comment comes amid the protests against the Agnipath scheme which started in Bihar and has spread to several states. The protests against Agnipath continued for the third day in seven states, including the national capital. "Agnipath is a golden opportunity for the youth to join the defence system and serve the country. As the recruitment was stalled for the last two years, many were deprived of the opportunity to join the army," Singh tweeted. "Therefore, keeping in mind the future of the youth, on the instructions of the Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi, the government has increased the age limit for the recruitment of Agniveers from 21 years to 23 years this time. This one time relaxation has been given. This will entitle a lot of youth to become Agniveers," said the Defence minister in a subsequent tweet. "I heartily thank the Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi for his concern and sensitivity towards the future of the youth. I appeal to the youth that the process of recruitment in the army is going to start in few days. They must start their preparation for it," Rajnath Singh tweeted. Considering the widespread protests, the government on Thursday allowed a one-time age waiver for the scheme considering that recruitment was stalled for the last two years. The situation continued to be tense as a large number of protesters remained in the station and on the tracks. The protesters were pelting stones on police while the latter were retaliating with firing of rubber bullets and teargas shells. The Railway Protection Force, Government Railway Police and city police were trying to bring the situation under control. Additional forces were rushed to the area which resembled a battle zone. Authorities have cancelled all the trains. With the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) buses also being targeted outside the station, the corporation suspended bus services in the area. Violence rocked the railway station here as hundreds of youth went on a rampage, setting afire East Coast Express. Passengers ran for their safety. Several bogies were gutted. Raising slogans against the Central government, the protesters also torched bogies of another train on the station, stalls, display boards and other railway property. They also dumped parcel articles on the tracks and set them afire. The protesters, who were raising slogans of 'Jai jawan Jai kisan' and 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' ,demanded that the government scrap the recently announced scheme and continue the existing system of recruitment. The youth were angry that the government cancelled the recruitment examination for which they had been preparing for the last 3-4 years. They said their protest would continue till the Centre scraps the new scheme. Following the large-scale violence, an alert was sounded at all railway stations in Telangana. Security was tightened at Nampally, Kacheguda and other railway stations in Hyderabad. The agitation by the students and job aspirants continued in almost all the districts of Bihar. The agitated youths asked the passengers to come out from the trains and then set the train afire. In Begusarai, the agitated students set the Lakhminia railway station on fire. They burnt down the ticket booking counter and the waiting area. The office properties and documents were completely gutted in the fire. In Bhojpur, the agitated students set the Bihiya railway station on fire. In Samastipur, the agitators set two coaches of the Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Express on fire in the Mohiuddinnagar railway station located on Hajipur-Barauni railway section. In Khagaria, the agitated mob stopped the Purnea-Ranchi Kosi Express at the Mansi railway station and demanded the rollback of the Agnipath scheme. The students are sitting on tracks at several places in Bihar and they are not ready to go home. Many of them claimed that the Agnipath scheme was suicidal for youths if they join the Army under this scheme. "An army jawan becomes trained in at least a year's time and it takes 5 to 6 years for the jawan to perform duty on the border posts. Under the Agnipath scheme, there is a provision of six months training and deployment anywhere in the country, including on the borders connected to Pakistan and China. Partially skilled jawans cannot survive on the border. Meanwhile, train movement at the Deen Dayal Upadhyay station in Chandauli had been adversely affected because of attacks on trains in Bihar by protesters. According to railway sources, train movement has been halted on some routes while some other trains have been delayed.
