It’s aptly quoted, “We were born as explorers, not caretakers”. The “beyond planet” fascination is hard to explain but it is what it is. Technology and so much else has changed over the decades since those first footprints in the lunar dust that there’s now a good chance a <keyword id="6360409" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="NASA">NASA</keyword> astronaut won’t be the first to walk out onto the next new world. 
 
TeamIndus, an aerospace start-up based out of Bangalore is going to be the first privately funded company in the world to land a rover on moon and it’ll be done with the help of former ISRO scientists who have worked on projects like Aryabhatta and Chandrayaan-1. 
 
From an IT job to being a space-tech entrepreneur 
 “Rahul Narayan (Co-founder) was working at an IT firm and he then saw this wallpaper of Google Lunar X Prize (GLXP) on a desktop. The first thing he did was find out what it was and then call the GLXP office to find out which Indian team was in the competition. Fortunately, there was no one and then at the moment he registered. Quit his job and started pursuing this,” said <keyword id="3453187" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="sheelika-ravishankar">Sheelika Ravishankar</keyword>, Marketing and Outreach. 
 For an engineer working at an IT firm leaving his job to pursue his dreams has always been a risky venture. Guess what? Risk takers get rewards. He then took this company to a point where <keyword id="44604" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Nandan-Nilekani">Nandan Nilekani</keyword>, and former Yahoo India R&amp;D chief <keyword id="207306" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sharad-Sharma">Sharad Sharma</keyword> were the first one to invest. Why wouldn’t they be? It’s a matter of national pride and not just equity. 
 
Google Lunar X Prize 
 
The Google Lunar XPRIZE was launched in September 2007. The competition offers a total of US$30 million in prizes to the first privately funded teams to land a robot on the Moon that successfully travels more than 500 meters and transmits back high-definition images and video. 
 
The Spacecraft 
 
The lightest UAV sent on moon was by China, which was nearly 150 kgs. The spacecraft we’re making will carry a 20-kg payload, of which 10 kg will be allotted for commercial use. Yes, they took it to another level (from 150 kgs to 20). “Additionally there are a lot of complications in making an aircraft, we have to take care of temperatures, we have to land on the right spot decided at that moment, right wheels to travel on the surface of moon etc. But we’ve been doing good under the guidance of ISRO experts and our young and enthusiastic colleagues.Of which some of them have left their previous jobs,” said Sheelika. 
 
AI enabled Rover 
 
The rover will be tapped with AI enabled software which will decide where to land at moment. “We looked at all the data from NASA and Russian mission and we found a spot called Mare Imbrium. When the system reaches the surface it has to make decision anonymously. Because it’s moving at a speed of 1.7 kms/sec we needed to have AI in the system. So we collaborated with Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics(LASP), University of Colorado, which is older than NASA.,” said Sheelika 
 
Investment 
 
When asked about how much they need to build a rover and successfully execute the requirements, Sheelika stated that the total sum required is US$70 million and currently they’re in a process to raise another round of US$10 million.

This after an FIR was filed against six people including the YouTuber for supplying the <keyword id="12724" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="venom" source="Orion">Venom</keyword>. Elvish Yadav in a video posted on Instagram claimed that all allegations against him are false " I woke up and heard the news about my alleged arrest in the media. All these allegations against me are fake and without truth. They are not even 1% true. I am willing to cooperate with UP Police. I request the UP Government and the UP CM <keyword id="43254" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="yogi-adityanath" source="Orion">Yogi Adityanath</keyword> that even if there is a 0.1% involvement in this then I am willing to take full responsibility. I request the media to not spread any misinformation till then, I have nothing to do with this Earlier the Uttar Pradesh forest department and Noida police conducted a joint raid at Sector 51 Saffron Villa at Noida and busted the gang for allegedly supplying snake venom at a rave party. Uttar Pradesh police said, "FIR registered at Noida Sector 49 Police Station against six people, including YouTuber and <keyword id="26022" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="bigg-boss" source="Orion">Bigg Boss</keyword> winner Elvish Yadav, for making available snake venom at rave parties. They used to collect a hefty sum of money for supplying the venom at parties. Nine snakes were also rescued in a raid." The police meanwhile arrested five persons Rahul, Titunath, Jayakaran, Narayan and Ravinath from the banquet hall. Five cobras, a red snake, a python and two other snakes were recovered from the party venue. According to the FIR based on a complaint filed by People For Animals "A YouTuber named Elvish Yadav provided snake venom and live snakes in Noida and created videos with other gang members/Youtubers in NCR farmhouse. They organised shoots and organised rave parties illegally. They regularly invited foreign girls and consumed snake venom and intoxicants. Rahul his accomplice acted as an agent on his behalf." The FIR says " One of our informants contacted Elvish Yadav and asked him to organise the rave party and get Cobra Venom. Elvish gave us the name of one Rahul whom we contacted. He said he can organise the venom wherever we want. He then came to Sector 51 Banquet hall with the Venom. The Noida police then came to the venue along with the DFO and arrested the organisers." The FIR was filed under sections 9, 39,48A, 49, 50, 51 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act, 1972 and section 120-B of the IPC. Parmod Kumar District Forest Officer said, "The forest department, police and PFA conducted a joint raid in which five people have been arrested. Snakes have been recovered. PFA was following this case since a long time. According to the Police the accused used to charge huge amounts for supplying poison at parties. 20 to 25 ml of intoxicating poison was also recovered from the accused. (ANI)

From the Maval seat, Appa Alias Shrirang Chandu Barne of the SHS took a lead against the PWPI candidate Jagtap Laxmanbhau Pandurang by securing 157,397 votes more and became the MP. For the upcoming assembly elections 2019, Laxman Jagtap will field for BJP from the Chinchwad seat. From the Karjat seat, Shiv Sena is fielding Mahendra Thorway. Prashant Thakur will contest from the Panvel seat for the BJP. Gautam whip-rider is the Shiv Sena candidate for the Pimpri seat. From the Uran seat, INC is fielding Manish Anant Patil. The polling date for the Maharashtra single phase Vidhan Sabha elections is October 21, 2019. The votes counting will happen on October 24, 2019. During the 2014 general elections for the Vidhan Sabha, BJP candidate Bhegade Sanjay (Bala) Vishwanath won from the Maval seat securing 28001 more votes than the NCP runner up Dnyanoba Alias Mauli Dabhade. From the Chinchwad constituency, Jagtap Laxman Pandurang of the BJP won securing 60297 votes more than the SHS candidate Kalate Rahul Tanaji. From the Pimpri (SC) seat, Adv. Chabukswar Gautam Sukhdeo of SHS became the winner who secured 2335 more votes than Anna Dadu Bansode of NCP. The Panvel seat winner was BJP’s Prashant Ramsheth Thakur who scored 13215 votes more than the runner up Balaram Dattusheth Patil (Balusheth) of the PWPI. In fact, the virus has attacked us with such brute force in this second wave that almost everyone seems to have lost family and friends. At such a time, advertising agency Cheil India has come under criticism for allegedly asking its employees to work from office in the midst of this raging pandemic. In a post shared by Rahul Bhatnagar, an ex-employee of Cheil India, he mentions, “Despite repetitive requests and implores, my ex-agency decides to keep its offices open during the peak of the coronavirus pandemic, forcing and threatening its employees to come to office.” While Bhatnagar didn’t mention the agency, a few people tagged Cheil India in the comments. <div type="javascript" title="Custom" contenttype="Text"><cdata><![CDATA[]]></cdata></div> We reached out to Cheil India and it denied the allegations. The agency said that its employees have been working from home since the beginning of April 2021. Replying to an email query, the agency said, “India’s Covid crisis has been beyond heartbreaking. No company was immune to ravage of Covid. We recently lost two of our employees to Covid. It has been a very tragic and unfortunate time for all of us but we have been standing by our employees all throughout. Amid this tough time, we are working round the clock to provide necessary medical aid and support the mental wellbeing of our people. Cheil India has been following all government protocols and safety guidelines since the onset of Pandemic last year. We started with 10% capacity last year. We have constantly been amending our Work from Office policies and ensuring complete safety of all our employees at workplace. From weekly tests for all our employees to maintaining complete social distancing, from sanitization of our office on regular intervals to following all safety and hygiene measures, we were adhering to all the government laid guidelines. We were operating at 40-45% capacity in January 2021 and completely shifted to <keyword id="123591" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Work-from-home">Work from Home</keyword> model beginning April 2021. For us, our employees are our priority.” For the last few weeks, India has been witnessing a surge in Covid-19 infections with the country seeing over 3 lakh fresh cases of Covid-19 daily. On April 15th, India had registered 2,16,642 new COVID-19 cases and Maharashtra had reported 61,695 infections, accounting for nearly 31% of new cases and Delhi followed with 16,699 cases. On April 13th, Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray had imposed section 144 in the state and had announced that all establishments should be shut down, except for essentials. A curfew was announced in Delhi on April 15th. As per a Cheil employee’s comment on Bhatnagar’s post, the agency was working from their office till April 16. He said that Cheil was working last year in May when the entire country observed a lockdown. “Could have been easily done from home but no...After running the show since May 6th, 2020 from their swanky gurgaon office, yes the office was open last year too when the world was home...their confidence was oozing....when india was peaking at 2 lakh cases per day, a creative guy was admitted in a hospital, a planner severely afflicted others and a few more started taking leaves for covid symptoms. Cheil went on working from office till 16th of april. Only if they had shut a week early. Just a week keeping their massive egos aside. Only if they didn’t put lives before business. It’s sad, just sad how many families and there are many that are going through distress and pain right now,” wrote the employee. Vanddana Bhalla, Business Service Director at McCann Worldwide Group, blamed the client. She commented on the post, saying, “This problem comes from Samsung Electronics. They forced Cheil and further teams to come to work. Both are equally responsible. We have lost two great people.” Another ex-employee called working with Cheil India a mistake. She said, “Cheil India is one of my mistakes too. ISRO will launch the Chandrayaan-2 mission, which will be an advanced version of its previous 2018 mission with the objective of deeper lunar surface probe. Whereas, the moon mission launched by Team Indus will unfurl the Indian National Flag on the moon's surface as part of a global lunar competition. Team Indus, which has many young engineers and is led by IIT-Delhi alumnus Rahul Narayan, will compete to win $30 million Google Lunar XPRIZE. The competition states the competing team has to move 500 metre on the moon's surface and should be able to beam back high-definition images back to Earth. To fulfil its ambition, Team Indus has roped in investors like Infosys co-founder and former <keyword id="6355252" type="CITY" weightage="20" keywordseo="UIDAI">UIDAI</keyword> chairman <keyword id="44604" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Nandan-Nilekani">Nandan Nilekani</keyword> and space experts such as former Isro chairman K Kasturirangan and many experienced old hands from the Indian space agency. Praising the aerospace startup, Nilekani told TOI, "Team Indus is pursuing a big hairy audacious goal. I invested in Team Indus as I believe in their audacious mission to reach and land on the moon."
