That's $81,840 in salary, and $1.6 million in security and travel arrangements.Instead, the highest-earning executive is Andy Jassy, the CEO of Amazon Web Services, the<a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/amazon-andy-jassy-aws-cloud-biggest-business-2016-11"> retailer's most profitable unit</a> and the leader in the burgeoning cloud computing market. Last year, he made $175,000 in salary, $35,431,144 worth of stock grants, and $3,500 in matched 401(k) retirement account contributions from Amazon, for 35,609,644 total.Amazon Web Services, started in 2006, lets programmers rent functionally unlimited supercomputing power from the very same servers and services that Amazon itself relies upon to run its retail empire. Nowadays, Microsoft and Google are considered to be the second- and third-place players in the market, respectively, both racing against AWS.Jassy has been with AWS since its formation, but he <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/amazon-promotes-andy-jassy-jeff-wilke-to-ceos-2016-4">earned the title of "CEO" in 2016</a>, in recognition of the importance of the unit to the company. According to Amazon's filing, that new title came with a restricted stock grant (RSU) of 30,000 shares in the company.Meanwhile, don't cry for Bezos. The Amazon exec leading the charge against Microsoft and Google made $35.6 million last year

<img class="gwt-Image" src="/photo/54848026.cms" />Indian IT firm <keyword id="6354512" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Infosys">Infosys</keyword> just revised the pay structure of its key executives and the salaries of the top leadership is bound to take a hit. 
 After the revision, <keyword id="3747292" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Infosys-COO-Pravin-Rao">Infosys COO Pravin Rao</keyword>'s take-home pay could hit Rs 8 crore and even Chief Financial Officer M D Ranganath’s salary will be hit. 
 
"The Board of Directors have approved the revised annual compensation of Pravin Rao...with effect from November 1, 2016, subject to the approval of the shareholders. The compensation includes fixed compensation of Rs 4.62 crore per annum and a variable compensation of up to Rs 3.88 crore per annum," Infosys said. 
 
Additionally, based on fiscal 2016 performance, Rao will get 27,250 restricted stock units (RSU) and 43,000 stock options, vested over a period of four years. 
 
Infosys stated the revised aggregate compensation of Mohit Joshi (Head of the Financial Services), Sandeep Dadlani (Head of Americas), Rajesh K Murthy (Head of Europe), Ravikumar S (Chief Delivery Officer), David Kennedy (Chief Compliance Officer), Krishnamurthy Shankar (Group Head of Human Resource Development) and Manikantha AGS (Company Secretary) includes fixed compensation of Rs 24 crore and variable compensation of up to Rs 20 crore. 
 
Meanwhile, Infosys inducted founder and CEO of Surya Software Systems D N Prahlad as an independent director on its Board. 
 
Infosys Chairman R Seshasayee said, "We are delighted to welcome Prahlad, a distinguished technologist to the Board. Prahlad brings with him, not only his deep knowledge of the company, but also sharp insights into the industry.”

Meanwhile, <a href="https://www.wired.com/story/amazon-minimum-wage-some-fear-they-will-earn-less/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Wired spoke to an Amazon employee last year</a> who estimated they would lose at least $1,400 a year following the pay rise.Trade unions also noted the removal of incentives and stock options. "If Jeff Bezos - the richest man in the world - really wants to give hardworking staff a pay rise, he should let them keep their share options as well as increasing their hourly rate," <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2018/oct/03/amazon-offsetting-pay-rise-by-removing-bonuses-union-says" target="_blank" rel="noopener">said Tim Roache, the general secretary of the UK's GMB union.</a>Business Insider has contacted Amazon for comment. 	"In accordance to the first RSU Grant made on August 21, 2014 to Dr Vishal Sikka, CEO and Managing Director of the Company, 10 per cent of the RSUs numbering 2,279 shares (equivalent to 9,116 shares post bonus issues) have vested on August 20, 2015," Infosys said in a filing to the BSE. 
 

	<a href="http://www.businessinsider.in/Vishal-Sikka-announces-3-new-services-at-Infosys/articleshow/48557423.cms">Sikka</a> has exercised the above vested RSUs numbering 2,279 shares, it added. 
 

	Last year, the Bengaluru-based firm had granted 22,794 RSUs to Sikka. 
 

	The RSUs, issued at a grant price of Rs 5 apiece, were to vest over a period of four years subject to continued employment and upon achieving key performance indicators set by the Board/Management Development and Compensation Committee, it had said.
