This hilarious 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' parody is better than the original movie itself!

Mumbai, Renowned film art director <keyword id="194218" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="nitin-desai" source="Orion">Nitin Desai</keyword>, who created sets for blockbuster films such as "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam" and "Lagaan", was found hanging on Wednesday at his studio in Maharashtra's Raigad district neighbouring Mumbai, a senior police official said. Prima facie, it seems to be a case of suicide, the official said, adding they are investigating the case from all angles. "Desai's body was found hanging with a rope in the morning at the N D Studios," Raigad Superintendent of Police Somnath Gharge said. The studio is located in the Karjat area of Raigad, about 50 km from Mumbai. After being alerted, police rushed to the spot, the official said. The police are investigating the case from all possible angles, Gharge said. Desai, who was in his late 50s, served as art director and production designer for a number of Bollywood and Marathi movies. He was also known for his art work in films such as "Jodhaa Akbar" and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". The art director's death sent shock waves across the industry with film personalities such as Hema Malini, Riteish Deshmukh, Siddhartha Basu, and Neil Nitin Mukesh mourning Desai's passing. Actor-politician Hema Malini said Desai's death was a "terrible loss" to the film industry. "Such a warm human being, associated with many of my projects and ballets... May he find peace wherever he is," she tweeted. Neil said it is difficult to accept the heartbreaking news of Desai's death. The late art director worked on "Jail", the 2009 film starring the actor. "Our beloved #nitindesai has left for his heavenly abode. He was simply a genius. A visionary artist with grace, style who understood not just his craft but people. He was a positive soul who spread only love to all. My God give his family strength. Om Shanti," he wrote on the microblogging site. Basu, who worked with Desai on popular reality shows such as "Kaun Banega Crorepati" and "Dus Ka Dum", said he was shocked to hear about the passing of his "friend and artistic collaborator". "He made sets for so many of our shows - KBC, Kamzor Kadi, Heartbeat, Bluffmaster, Dus ka Dum, Sach ka Saamna.. Conjuring world class installations on an industrial scale. Om shanti," Basu wrote on Twitter, which was recently rebranded as X. In his career spanning over 30 years, Desai closely worked with directors like Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Rajkumar Hirani, and Ashutosh Gowariker.

Mumbai, <keyword id="2600924" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="rajveer-deol" source="Orion">Rajveer Deol</keyword>, the younger son of <keyword id="9271" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="sunny-deol" source="Orion">Sunny Deol</keyword>, says his family was not in favour of him joining the movie industry because of its unpredictable nature. Rajveer is making his acting debut with romantic drama "Dono", which also launches veteran actor <keyword id="346" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="poonam-dhillon" source="Orion">Poonam Dhillon</keyword> and producer Ashok Thakeria's daughter Paloma. The film is directed by first-time filmmaker Avnish, who is <keyword id="146044" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sooraj-Barjatya" source="Orion">Sooraj Barjatya</keyword>'s son. "My parents never wanted me to become an actor. They wanted me to study and do something else. It's because this industry is so unpredictable. You are happy for a second and (feel) miserable the next. "In fact, my father got a hit ('Gadar 2') after 22 years. But unfortunately, I fell in love with acting," Rajveer told reporters here at the trailer launch of "Dono", which was attended by his grandfather Dharmendra, uncles Bobby Deol and Abhay Deol and father Sunny Deol. Rajveer said he fell in love with acting because he was surrounded by actors and thought "this is how you got the bread home". "I was always influenced by movies and loved acting. I felt one could just disguise themselves in the characters. So, this is what I wanted to do. My family advised me to work hard. They told me not to be a star and become an actor first as the characters will get more work and that is what I want to do," he added. Rajveer said his father Sunny Deol taught him to "never give up". "What dad has taught me is dedication and determination. He has the strongest back ever, he carries his whole life on his back..." Sunny Deol, who was present at the event, said he has seen "Dono" and as a parent he is full of pride, joy and confidence but he also feels scared. Dhillon said both the newcomers look good on the screen. "I was so happy that they were coming together after Sunny and I did such amazing films together, and people liked us onscreen a lot. They too (Rajveer and Paloma) look good together. I'm happy with the pairing because that's half the battle won when you compliment each other," she said, adding, she wants the two young actors to recreate the look of her and Sunny's 1984 film. Paloma said her parents have always supported her with her decisions. "I'm lucky because my parents have been supportive of anything that I do ever since I was a kid. When I decided to tell them that I'm serious about this profession, I don't think they expected it, but obviously they expressed how difficult this line is, how much goes into this craft and profession. I hope I'm making them proud," Paloma added. Rajveer said he consciously chose to make his debut with a romantic drama as people expected him to follow in his father and grandfather's footsteps and pick up an action film. "You need to have your own individual stamp in this industry, otherwise they expect you to follow your dad or grandfather's traits. I really liked the subject (of 'Dono') when Avnish narrated it to me because it was so different to what people would expect me to choose. "Like, they would expect me to choose to beat 100 people up, scream, and have a big body. I was in love with the craft and I love acting. I notice if I get typecasted in that, then it is not a good idea. It is important to have your own individual stamp in this industry," Rajveer said. Barjatya, the filmmaker behind hits such as "Maine Pyar Kiya", "Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!" and "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo", said he would have been equally happy had his son chosen education or medicine. "They chose films, so, of course, there's another feeling of pride. Their future only depends on hard work because hard work is your bread and butter. I told Avnish that when we receive love from people, it comes in abundance, so we need to be very grateful and full of value," he said. Avnish said he wanted to ensure that the film aligns with his father's legacy. "I had to see the legacy of my father, Sunny sir, Poonam ji, Rajshri brand, so that responsibility was always there in the back of my head. I couldn't take this opportunity lightly. (I wanted to) make a film that they all can be proud of," he said. "Dono" releases theatrically on October 5.

Filmmaker Sooraj <keyword id="40286" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="barjatya" source="Orion">Barjatya</keyword> says he is set to venture into digital space soon with at least three web series under development at his family banner Rajshri Productions. These projects will focus on family-friendly entertainment, a genre championed by the production house through films such as "Nadiya Ke Paar" (1982), "Saaransh" (1984), Salman Khan-starrers "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" (1994) and "Hum Saath Saath Hain" (1999). Barjatya said he was inundated with many offers from leading streamers during the coronavirus pandemic to explore the digital medium. "We have been offered to make Rajshri kind of stories by all platforms. After the pandemic, families have come together. I am surprised and happy. We are in the process of starting three-four series soon." "It is in our space (family entertainers). Some are in the scripting stage, others are in the ideation stage. We will look at all of this post the release of 'Unnchai'," the 58-year-old director told PTI in an interview here. Back in 2017, Barjatya had said the production house was toying with the idea of making content for the web. Rajshri has already produced many successful TV shows like "<keyword id="11857" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="woh-rehne-waali-mehlon-ki" source="Orion">Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki</keyword>" and "Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara". Currently, the filmmaker is looking forward to the release of his upcoming feature "Unnchai", a drama about four friends, played by Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani and Danny Denzongpa. Parineeti Chopra, Neena Gupta, and Sarika also round out the cast of the film, slated to be released on November 11. Post "Unnchai", Barjatya said he will focus on a string of projects, including a web series, a movie with his frequent collaborator and friend <keyword id="6354583" type="General" weightage="50" keywordseo="salman-khan" source="Orion">Salman Khan</keyword>, and his son Avnish Barjatya's directorial debut. With Avnish's movie, the filmmaker will launch actor-MP Sunny Deol's younger son Rajveer and actor Poonam Dhillon's daughter Paloma. "After 'Unnchai', I will get busy with my younger son Avnish's movie, starring Rajveer and Paloma. As a producer, it is a big responsibility. After that, I will start my film with Salman Bhai. It is in family space," he added. Barjatya shared that it is <keyword id="6355601" type="General" weightage="80" keywordseo="khan" source="Orion">Khan</keyword> who often encourages him to make family-oriented movies. "He says 'I do my action everywhere but we will do family (dramas) together. He always encourages me to go back to what we do, he is like let's do the same thing... Like having a brother, sister and family because no one does that today. "He says, 'Let's go back to these (films)'. Essentially, it is a part of his life and even mine. Besides, both of us want to spend more time together," he said. When booking opened last Saturday, PayTM received 250,000 requests a minute and BookMyShow saw a peek rate of 18 tickets being booked per second. <keyword id="143" type="CITY" weightage="60" keywordseo="Bollywood">Bollywood</keyword> actress <keyword id="710" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Sonam-Kapoor">Sonam Kapoor</keyword>, having tested positive for <keyword id="43489" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Swine-flu">swine flu</keyword> has been admitted to <keyword id="2749102" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="80" keywordseo="Kokkilaben-Hospital-in-Mumbai">Kokkilaben Hospital in Mumbai</keyword> yesterday. The ‘Dolly ki Doli’ star who had been shooting with actor Salman Khan for Sooraj Barjatya's film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo at Gondal near Rajkot in Gujarat for the last 10 days has been flown back to Mumbai by her mother, <keyword id="13390" type="PERSON" weightage="80" keywordseo="Sunita-Kapoor">Sunita Kapoor</keyword>. 
 
Sources have confirmed an online news portal that Sonam was hospitalized following high fever on the morning of February 28. Her blood samples have tested positive for swine flu. It is further reported that her physical fitness trainer has been tested positive for swine flu as well. 
 
Sonam had to return to Mumbai only a few days back from the location as she was suffering from cough. She had joined the shooting in Gondal on Februray 27, but had to be admitted in the hospital the following day. 
 
As per media reports, Rajkot collector Manisha Chandra has informed that a team from the district health department had visited the film's crew members but no tests have been conducted on any as no influenza-like syndrome was seen in them.
