And the world we knew is no longer the same. We suddenly know of a class of people who built our cities, but the cities didn’t have any place for them. We now know our health infrastructure is still a planet away from what a near 3 trillion economy deserves, and while we have found a way to reach distant Mars, we still haven't found a way to lockdown a tiny virus. Be that as it may, we are now surer than ever, that we are now our own medicine. As much as we are our own defense. As such, communicating the bigness of this truth to the nook and corner of the country needs to be our stubborn focus. Perhaps as much as there was a need to convey – sabke saath, sabka vikas! Going ahead, we need to arm people with relevant information, and immediately at that. Perhaps there could be a 3-pronged communication approach to tackling the multiple sides of the pandemic. Plan A needs to be about hammering down and convincing people that the mask is meant to be worn, and not used as an item to avoid challans or penal action. That washing of hands or sanitizing them is an easier, cheaper, and more convenient way of combating the virus than trying to secure a hospital bed. And that do gaz ki doori (social distancing) is as sure a way of breaking the back of the virus, as was do boond zindagi ki, for eradicating polio. The only medicine for corona is YOU. You are the vaccine. You are the cure. Look no further than our success against HIV, if we are still not making sense. Plan B needs to be about co-opting all of us into the combat. While we expect the government to wield a magic wand, they simply don’t have it. The burgeoning daily maths doesn’t allow that. So, while every community, RWA, association, corporate, village, etc. need to start thinking of isolation wards, beds, emergency measures; we must also come together to celebrate those that have successfully conquered the illness. There’s just too much of stigma and ostracization attached to the disease. Why can’t we think of a <keyword id="8764262" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="covid">COVID</keyword> patient the same way we think someone who caught dengue, chikungunya, or common cold? Falling ill is human. This when we also know that thousands of people have cured themselves of the virus through simple home isolation. Plan C of the narrative simply must be around CBM – confidence-building measures - for self, for the country and economy. The economy is bruised, people are not earning enough, and yes, there have been job losses, all ironically at a time when people need money the most. But at the same time, the virus has also brought about a big reset. It has thrown up new opportunities, new habits, and perhaps new ways of living. There are new kinds of businesses being set-up, people are looking at new ways of doing things. We are now talking about one country, one ration card; home delivery and the traditional grocer is the toast of the town; working from home does not stoke guilt but is the new status quotient, and so much more. So as Mirza Ghalib said, “this too shall pass,” and we will certainly have much more to look forward to. The need of the hour is to put a portion of the state’s resources in quickly radiating the messages of A, B, and C. And to also seek and allow willing corporates to combine and put out a credible line of advisories, DIY remedies, and SOS methods to help people fight this themselves if and when corona comes visiting. Dressed in his Krrish costume, wearing a mask over his face, Ranveer danced on the Main Aisa Kyun Hoon song from the movie Lakshya, in the street. After apologising to the traffic police for the nuisance he had created, Singh took off the mask and ran to his car, leaving behind a bemused public.

Ranveer's Dabangg Response To The BangBang Dare

Taking the stand just after the Olympic and Paralympic star pleaded not guilty to murdering 29-year-old model Reeva Steenkamp on Valentine's Day last year, Michelle Burger, who lived in a nearby estate, told of being woken in the middle of the night by a woman screaming and shouting for help.
"I was still sitting in the bed and I heard her screams," Burger said, speaking in Afrikaans through an interpreter. "She screamed terribly and she yelled for help. Then I also heard a man screaming for help. Three times he yelled for help."
"Just after her screams, I heard four shots. Four gunshots ... 'Bang ...bang, bang, bang'," she said, her voice cracking with emotion. At Burger's request, her testimony was not shown on television, but the audio was broadcast live.
"It was very traumatic for me. You could hear that it was bloodcurdling screams," Burger added.
The 27-year-old Pistorius, who was born without legs but reached the 2012 Olympic 400 meters semi-final running on carbon-fiber "blades", argues that the killing of law graduate Steenkamp was a tragic case of mistaken identity.
He says he mistook her for an intruder hiding in the upstairs toilet of his luxury Pretoria home.

You must have seen this duo pulling off various stunts in the trailers. 
 
Now, Hrithik Roshan is doing some stunt on Twitter. He is indulging in some #BangBangDare for his friends. First, he first himself accepted the challenge from Nargis Fakhri and when on a diet sans sugar and coffee for eight days. 
 
Later, he challenged his Dhoom co-star <keyword id="36115" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="uday-chopra">Uday Chopra</keyword> to do 100 body weight pull ups in 5 sets.

 Coming back to the dares, Hrithik addressed <keyword id="5894" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Dino-Morea">Dino Morea</keyword> as “the muscleman” and asked him to do 20 parallel bar dips in 1 set. He also mentioned that Dino had three days to execute his dare.

New Delhi, <keyword id="56368" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="Apollo-Hospitals" source="Orion">Apollo Hospitals</keyword> on Friday said its consolidated profit after tax declined by 47 per cent to Rs 167 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2023. The healthcare major had reported a PAT (profit after tax) of Rs 317 crore in the April-June quarter of previous fiscal. Revenue grew by 16 per cent to Rs 4,418 crore in the first quarter as against Rs 37,96 crore in the same period a year ago, Apollo Hospitals said in a regulatory filing. As on June 30, 2023, Apollo Hospitals had 7,798 operating beds across the network, out of which 14 hospitals were new with 2,380 operating beds, it said. The new hospitals have a utilisation of 60 per cent and are expected to witness double-digit growth in volumes and improvement in utilisation and profitability going forward, it added. "As we step into the next quarter, our focus remains steadfast - to augment our doctors' expertise and revolutionise the overall patient experience as we continue steering Apollo towards a future where healthcare is proactive, personalised, and accessible to all," Apollo Hospitals Group Chairman Prathap C Reddy noted. Shares of the company were trading 0.32 per cent down at Rs 4,905.05 apiece on the BSE.

Xiaomi India appoints chief operating officer Muralikrishnan B as company president

New Delhi, Mar 26 () Healthcare major Apollo Hospitals on Thursday said it plans to scale up the number of its laboratories for testing of COVID-19 to 17 as soon as it gets permission from the government. Currently, five labs of Apollo Hospitals have been approved by the government for novel coronavirus testing across the country. The healthcare provider also plans to scale up the number of beds earmarked for treatment of COVID-19 across its hospitals if the need arises, the top management of the group said in a virtual media conference on the launch of 'Project Kavach' by the group. The response plan is a comprehensive approach by Apollo Hospitals that encompasses all aspects from information, screening and assessment, testing, to readying the infrastructure for quarantine and treatment of novel coronavirus pandemic. "We currently have five labs that are approved for testing of COVID-19. We plan to scale them to 17 as soon as we get the approval from the government," Apollo Hospitals Executive Vice Chairperson Shobana Kameneni told in an email response. When asked about the number of the isolation beds the company has to cater to the patients suffering from the pandemic, she said the facility and isolation beds are existing and spread across our hospital network. The scale-up will be done accordingly over time to meet the demand. About the pharmacies, Kameneni said: "The 3,800 Apollo pharmacies across 18 states will be pressed into action to serve people with all the medication, consumables and supplements as required. Stocks have been doubled, prices will be strictly monitored and controlled, and home delivery capability has been enhanced." Several people are seriously injured and there are possible fatalities after a bin lorry lost control and plowed into pedestrians in George Square in central Glasgow.

The lorry crashed into the Millennium&#xa0;Hotel and hit people that were&#xa0;were waiting to cross the road outside Queen Street station, <a href="http://news.sky.com/story/1396275/bin-lorry-crashes-into-shoppers-six-dead">Sky News reports</a>. It's a particularly busy time of the year for shoppers in George Square.&#xa0;
"There is no structural damage to the hotel. This is bang in the middle of Glasgow's shopping area,"&#xa0;<a href="http://news.sky.com/story/1396275/bin-lorry-crashes-into-shoppers-six-dead">Sky correspondent James Matthews said from the scene of the accident</a>.&#xa0;
"The lorry collided with pedestrians before ramming into the structure and that has contributed to the casualty count."
