Here is the right way to keep your mechanical keyboard clean.</p><h2><strong>How to lightly clean a mechanical keyboard</strong></h2><p>You should regularly clean your keyboard to keep dirt, dust, pet hair, and food debris from building up on the deck of your keyboard between and under the keys, as well as on the palm rest and around the keys. To do this, you need a keycap puller to remove the keys from your keyboard. You should have received a puller tool with your mechanical keyboard, but if you've misplaced it, you can get a new one with many inexpensive computer tool kits or on its own for just a few dollars. </p><p><strong>1.</strong> Take a photo of your keyboard before you begin so there's no doubt about exactly where each key goes when it's time to replace them. </p><p><strong>2.</strong> Use the keycap puller to remove every key. Put them in a large bowl and fill it with warm, soapy water. If sea levels continue to rise at their current rates, some of them will be completely submerged within just a few decades, <a href="http://www.ilo.org/dyn/migpractice/docs/261/Pacific.pdf"><span class="s2">according to a UN report </span></a>released at the UN Climate Change Conference in Paris earlier this month.</span></p><p class="p3"><span class="s1">"We're being hit with these unprecedented extreme weather events, and as soon as we recover from one, another one occurs," Christopher deBrum, chief of staff for Marshall Islands President Christopher Loeak, told Business Insider.</span></p><p class="p3"><span class="s1">Kiritbati, a nation of 105,000 people in the central Pacific, could be completely submerged in the ocean in as little as 50 years, Kiribati President Anote Tong said at the climate conference. </span></p><p class="p3"><span class="s1"><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table float_right"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>Business Insider/Mark Abadi</span></p></div><p></p></div></div>Others, like Fiji and the Marshall Islands, have suffered floods and droughts that have destroyed crops and forced entire communities to relocate.</span></p><p class="p5"><span class="s1">"We hold grave fears for the people on these outer and remote islands," Oxfam executive director Helen <a href="http://www.ryot.org/vanuatu-cyclone-pam/925003"><span class="s3">Szoke said in a statement</span></a> after Cyclone Pam leveled Port Vila, Vanuatu, and displaced 3,300 people in March. "It's becoming increasingly clear that we are now dealing with worse than the worst case scenario in Vanuatu."</span></p><p class="p3"><span class="s1">For these nations, the Paris conference took on an unprecedented urgency. In a meeting with President Obama, the Alliance of Small Island States pleaded for a treaty to limit worldwide global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels. <a href="http://unfccc.int/resource/docs/2015/cop21/eng/l09r01.pdf"><span class="s2">The final agreement</span></a></span><span class="s4">,</span><span class="s1"> a historic deal between 195 countries, calls for a limit "well below" 2 degrees and asks governments to "pursue efforts" to limit the increase to 1.5 degrees.</span></p><p class="p3"><span class="s1">"I think it's the game of negotiating," <a href="http://time.com/4143972/kiribati-climate-change-refugees-paris-sea-levels/"><span class="s2">Tong said at the conference</span></a>. "But for us it's not a game. It's a matter of survival."</span></p><p class="p6"><span class="s1">Bracing for the worst, several island nations are drawing up plans to relocate their entire populations to other countries. Saltwater is destroying sugar cane crops - a driving force of Fiji's economy - and people are contracting a host of water-borne diseases. </span></p><p class="p6"><span class="s1">"It's affecting us at every level of society," Prasad said.</span></p><p class="p6"><span class="s1">Worse yet, climate change is threatening Fiji's critical tourism industry, as resorts are having to undergo costly beach elevation projects.</span></p><p class="p6"><span class="s1">"We see the change in front of our eyes," Prasad told Business Insider. "The beaches I used to play in as a child, they're permanently under water."</span></p><p class="p6"><div class="KonaFilter image-container display-table"><div><div class="image on-image"><p class="source"><span>REUTERS/David Gray</span></p><p class="caption">Binata Pinata stands on top of a rock holding a fish her husband Kaibakia just caught off Bikeman islet, located off South Tarawa in the central Pacific island nation of Kiribati in this May 25, 2013 file photo</p></div><p></p></div></div></p><p class="p6"><span class="s1">Fiji, with its advantageous mountainous topography, is expected to become a hub for Pacific climate refugees, along with Australia and New Zealand, said Sarika Chand, communications consultant for the Pacific Centre for Environment and Sustainable Development at the University of the South Pacific.</span></p><p class="p3"><span class="s1">At least one village in Fiji <a href="http://www.unocha.org/top-stories/all-stories/fiji-building-resilience-face-climate-change"><span class="s2">has been entirely relocated already</span></a>, moving two miles inland, and more and more residents are flocking to the capital of Suva, which could lead to overcrowding in a city already strapped for resources, Prasad said.</span></p><p class="p3"><span class="s1">The Marshall Islands have been similarly impacted. </span></p><p class="p3"><span class="s1">Officials there declared a state of emergency in 2013 following a months-long drought that led to a drinking water shortage and severe crop damage. Less than a year later, a massive high tide swept through the capital of Majuro, forcing 600 people to evacuate. Both the companies are in talks with a number of investors since 6 months now. While competition is getting tough, especially in this segment, increasing valuation mismatches and performance pressures have made the struggle to get funds a mark tougher.<br />
 <br />
Bengaluru-based Flipkart is said to be raising $1 billion (Rs 6,300 crore) from its existing investors at a post-money valuation of $15 billion, according to a news report by The Economic Times.<br />
 <br />
The new round of funding will come from existing investors like Tiger Global and DST Global, sources have informed the financial daily.<br />
 <br />
Even rival Snapdeal is engaged in negotiations with Taiwanese corporate giant Foxconn Technologies along with Chinese etailer Alibaba and existing investor SoftBank to raise as much as $1 billion, according to three sources. Two of them said that the investment from Foxconn has been finalised, and one indicated that that the Apple iPhone-maker has committed up to $600 million to Snapdeal.<br />
 <br />
But talks with Alibaba have been stuck on valuation, as Snapdeal is targeting a post-money valuation of around $5 billion while Alibaba does not want to pay over $3.5 billion, prolonging closure of the deal.<br />
 <br />
"This is a speculation and as a policy, we do not comment on speculations," said a Snapdeal representative. "As a listed company, we typically do not comment on markspeculations. If any material events happen, we will put out formal announcements," said Vincent Tong, head of Foxconn's investment arm, in an emailed response to ET queries. Alibaba did not reply to ET's queries. A Flipkart representative declined to comment.<br />

The large financing rounds come after a fundraising lull at the two leading etailing giants this year, who between themselves raised nearly $3 billion in 2014 besides Amazon's commitment of $2 billion to India operations. But other players entering the space have also been able to attract funding, like Paytm's $575-million raise from Alibaba affiliate Ant Financial.<br />
 <br />
And competition is only bound to increase as the online retailing industry grows in size to an estimated $50 billion by 2020 from $3 billion in 2014.<br />
 <br />
"Within the next 12 months we will also see conglomerates like Tatas, Reliance and Aditya Birla Group throwing their hats in the ring in a much more forceful manner," said Arvind Singhal, founder of retail consultancy Technopak. "This doesn't give much of a headroom to current players to slow down their spend on marketing, infrastructure and discounting. Therefore the need to raise more funds will increase rather than decrease."<br />
 <br />
Indian online retailers suffer gross losses of 35%, with much of it attributed to discounts, according to a recent Goldman Sachs report. The re port stated that etailers will need additional $20 billion in incremental cash infusion till 2020.<br />
 <br />
Flipkart said that it is targeting annual gross merchandise value (GMV) run rate of $10 billion by early 2016, more than doubling the $4-billion mark that it crossed in April 2015. In March 2014 it had crossed the $1-billion mark, indicating a four-fold increase in GMV. Similarly, Snapdeal recently stated that it has reached GMV of $3.5 billion, indicating similar growth, as per the news report.<br />
 <br />
But as etailers start operating with a larger revenue base and the initial euphoria around etailing starts ebbing, similar growth will be hard to achieve. A venture capital investor said that growth in 2014 was being fueled by new buyers coming on board, which has tapered this year.<br />
 <br />
"The whole ecommerce wave last year erupted after hundreds of crores was spent on marketing and these firms brought in a new class of consumers on board who wanted to try ecommerce. But they haven't transformed into repeat buyers immediately, which for them will happen organically," he said on the condition of anonymity, underlining that with a larger base the rate of growth of etailer has been slowing. This is likely to have an impact on valuation multiples.<br />
 <br />
For instance, Flipkart was eyeing a valuation of $18 billion for the new round of funding but is now closing the round at $15 billion, according to a person source privy to the details of the negotiations.<br />
 <br />
"This is exactly how Future Group also built the business, which was borrowing money and their valuation was going up. In this case instead of borrowing Flipkart has been raising equity," Harminder Sahni, founder and managing director of Wazir Advisors, a management consulting firm told the ET.<br />
