Elections are times when the markets are fraught with volatility. But the kind of volatility that the markets are now witnessing can make even the bravest heart, long-term investors quite shaky. So here are some suggestions you can use to refurbish your portfolio ahead of the poll results. 
 
It’s time to evaluate your portfolio Given that the markets have run up considerably over the past few weeks, your portfolio should have given you significant returns as well. But if you have not seen that much gain, perhaps your choices were not that great. Use this opportunity to sell those <keyword id="6354298" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="40" keywordseo="stocks">stocks</keyword> and use the funds to build a better portfolio. 
 
Take a sectoral call Equity pundits think it is time to take a look at some specific sectors that may benefit after the poll results come out. This is because there will be a veritable boost in the investment cycle when a new government comes to power. Some of the sectors that may see significant upward surge post the polls are energy, infrastructure, banking and capital goods. That is not to say that sectors such as <keyword id="34523" type="CITY" weightage="40" keywordseo="fmcg">FMCG</keyword> or IT will suffer, but the above mentioned sectors will benefit more from a boost in <keyword id="47916" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="40" keywordseo="invest">invest</keyword>or sentiment. Equity analysts agree that this is a good time to invest in the frontline stocks in such sectors. 
 
Avoid the stocks that have run up significantly 
The markets at large are expecting the NDA-led government to make a grand re-entry at the Centre. As a result, a number of stocks have run up and already reached their fair value. While it is okay to invest in small-cap and mid-cap stocks, make sure that your research is thorough and you are not solely banking on the euphoria. 
 
Advice for the overcautious 
A lot of people believe it is a cardinal mistake to ‘time’ the markets, but to turn away from obvious gains is being naïve. Therefore, those who have over-allocated in the fixed income and debt investments, should now re-allocate funds into equities. 
 
Those who are prudent and astute stock-pickers, there is no better time than ‘now’ to look for sector-specific opportunities. But if you are one of those who want to take part in the rally via the safe mode, it is best to go with the funds being offered by top asset management companies who have already sniffed out opportunities and are ahead of the curve.

And, according to a new <a href="https://iop.harvard.edu/youth-poll/spring-2021-harvard-youth-poll">Harvard Institute of Politics poll</a>, 30% of Americans between 18 and 29 years old believe history will judge Trump as the "worst" president in US history.Just about a quarter of young people - 26% - assessed the former president positively, while 56% said history will view him as "bad," "terrible," or the "worst president ever." Eleven percent said he'll be seen as an "average" president.Even young Republicans are divided on whether Trump should play a central role in politics going forward. Just 56% said they want Trump to "play a key role in the future of Republican politics." And when asked to choose between the GOP and Trump, 42% of young Republicans said they are supporters of the Republican Party over the former president. About a quarter said they're primarily Trump supporters and another quarter said they support both the GOP and Trump. The majority of these young conservatives are sympathetic or subscribe to Trump and his allies' false claims about the legitimacy of the 2020 election.Two-thirds of young people believe President <keyword id="99719" type="PERSON" weightage="60" keywordseo="Joe-Biden">Joe Biden</keyword> won the 2020 presidential election, but just about a quarter of young Republicans think Biden was legitimately elected. Twenty percent of young GOP-ers believe Trump won reelection against Biden - and this number leaps to 35% among young Republicans who live in rural areas. At the same time, Biden has attracted historic support from young Americans. The 78-year-old former vice president has the highest approval rating among young people of any first-term US president since the poll was first conducted 20 years ago. The Harvard poll surveyed 2,513 US residents between 18 and 29 years old from March 9 to March 22, 2021. The margin of error is 2.6%.

Haryana emerged as an independent state carved out of East Punjab in 1966. Having a geographical extent of 44,212 square kilometers, Haryana shares its capital Chandigarh with the state of Punjab. The total number of eligible voters in the state listed on the electoral rolls is 1,74,48,307. This figure has 93,96,638 males and 80,51,669 females. There are no registered third gender voters in Haryana. In 2014 Lok Sabha elections, Haryana elected the BJP from 7 of its constituencies. During these elections, INLD got 2 seats and INC got just one seat. In 2009 parliamentary elections, the Congress party got 9 seats leaving just one seat to HJCBL. During the 2004 general elections in the state, the Congress won from 9 constituencies and the BJP got 1 seat. The state of Haryana has a total number of 10 Lok Sabha constituencies and can therefore send 10 MPs to the Lok Sabha. The state also sends 5 Rajya Sabha members from here. The number of assembly constituencies in Haryana are 90 and the last assembly elections were conducted in the state in October 2014. All the constituencies of the state voted for the Lok Sabha elections 2019 in a single phase when the country polled during the 6 th phase on May 12, 2019.

Nearly 15,000 people took part in our <a href="http://www.businessinsider.com/vote-for-your-favorite-super-bowl-ad-2013-2">reader poll of Super Bowl ads</a>.
At 37 percent, and with 1,244 votes, BlackBerry's spot beat out the Dodge "Farmer" spot, which got 18 percent and 594 votes. (We should note that <a href="http://crackberry.com/what-did-you-think-blackberrys-super-bowl-ad">a lot of voters came from CrackBerry.com</a>, the BlackBerry fan web site.)
The Budweiser "Brotherhood" spot was also well-liked, with Doritos "Goat 4 Sale" and Audi's "Prom" also scoring about 5 percent.

I found the ad for Ram Trucks using Paul Harvey reading "God made a farmer" very refreshing. It caught my immediate attention as I noticed all 7 of my party guests were focused on the ad. Everyone cheered for Ram when it was over. One guest said, "Did I just hear the word God in a Super Bowl commercial?" It made us want to run to the dealer and buy a Ram Truck!
The least favorites? Well, everyone else basically. 
On Twitter, many were grossed out by the making out GoDaddy ad. 
Others loved the Taco Bell "Viva Mas" spot.
