The company has raised $4 million in the latest round of funding and has now ventured into the Mother and Infant Care category on its platform. 
	 “The company has enabled services such as <keyword id="6357793" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="pregnancy">pregnancy</keyword> and infant care, periodic monitoring of mother and child, nursing care and vaccination for the baby, lactation advice and nutritional guidance, sleep management counselling and post-partum depression counselling to make dealing with such issues easier,” said Vipin Pathak, co-founder and CEO of Care24. 
	 As per reports, 15% of new mothers suffer from Post-Partum Mood Disorders (PPMDs), including Post-Partum Depression (<keyword id="690017" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="PPD">PPD</keyword>). Research papers have also pointed out that infants are found to be suffering from different maladies such as meningitis, paralysis and other ailments due to a lack of knowledge regarding post-partum childcare among young mothers. “Such situations can be prevented through professional counselling and by providing adequate post-delivery care to mothers. All these together ensure good health for both mother and child,” he added.
