P&G India sets up a ₹200 crore ‘Environmental Sustainability Fund’, will collaborate with external partners on environmentally sustainable solutions

New Delhi, Apr 15 () FMCG major Procter &amp; Gamble (P&amp;G) on Wednesday said it will donate face masks and hand sanitisers to the government and relief organisations to support the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in India. The company is planning to donate 1.5 million masks to the government and relief organisations, it said in a statement. P&amp;G has already started production of hand sanitisers at its Roorkee facility and will soon start manufacturing 3-ply face masks in Hyderabad, the firm said in the statement. The company added that these initiatives are part of its response programme 'P&amp;G Suraksha India'. P&amp;G Indian Subcontinent MD &amp; CEO Madhusudan Gopalan said, "Under the programme, we are stepping up to support the government and those who are on the front line in India's fight against COVID-19." Gopalan said that the company has started production of hand sanitisers and will begin the production of masks soon, using it to ensure people can continue operating safely and will share it with those who are on the front line. "To start with, we will donate 1.5 million masks to the government and relief organisations to combat the spread of this pandemic," he added. Under P&amp;G Suraksha India, the company is extending its support to the broader community through in-kind, product and critical supplies to aid frontline and essential workers who are working to combat the spread of coronavirus. P&G to distribute face masks, hand sanitisers for supporting fight against COVID-19

The <keyword id="83655" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="union-health-ministry" source="Orion">Union Health Ministry</keyword> has asked the National Board of Examinations (NBE) to postpone NEET PG 2022 by six to eight weeks since it clashes with the NEET PG 2021 counselling. On January 25, six <keyword id="48426" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="MBBS" source="Orion">MBBS</keyword> graduates had filed a plea in the Supreme Court seeking postponement of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) scheduled on March 12 for admissions in postgraduate medical courses, claiming that many MBBS graduates would not be able to take up the examination due to non-completion of the mandatory internship period. Dr B Srinivas, Assistant Director General (Medical Education) and Member Secretary of the <keyword id="1873824" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="medical-counselling-committee" source="Orion">Medical Counselling Committee</keyword>, in a communication sent to Dr M Bajpai, executive director of NBE, said that a lot of representations were being received from medical doctors requesting to postpone the NEET-PG 2022 examination as it was clashing with the NEET PG 2021 counselling. Also, many of the interns would not be able to participate in the PG counselling 2022 in May-June, Srinivas said. "Keeping the above facts in view, the HFM (ministry of health and family welfare) has taken the decision to postpone NEET PG 2022 by 6-8 weeks or suitably. Hence, the decision made by HFM may be complied with," the communication sent on February 3 stated. Health Ministry postpones NEET Postgraduate exam 2022 by 6-8 weeks

The Indian subsidiary of <keyword id="6361491" type="CITY" weightage="100" keywordseo="Procter-Gamble">Procter &amp; Gamble</keyword>, the American multinational consumer goods company, has decided to introduce a new policy which will allow its employees a paid leave of six months when they adopt a child. The initiative is a part of its industry-leading efforts, which has seen it been counted amongst the first few companies in India to grant maternity leave of six months. 
 
The new policy makes both male and female employees eligible for this paid leave if they are the primary caregivers. 
 "The intent of launching the <keyword id="3294276" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="adoption-leave">Adoption Leave</keyword> Policy is to lead the way for the industry as we see the adoption trend rising in the near future," Sonali Roychowdhury, HR director at <keyword id="113078" type="COMPANY" weightage="100" keywordseo="PG-India">P&amp;G India</keyword>, told ET. 
 
"We expect the trend to pick up, especially as P&amp;G India is a very young organisation with an average age of 28-29," she said. Reportedly, the number of P&amp;G employees who have adopted children has doubled in the past two years. 
 
Not only this, P&amp;G India has also upgraded its flexible working policy which would allow employees to work from home for as many days as their manager allows. 
 
"We are reaffirming our commitment to 'flex@work' by providing greater flexibility in critical life stages like return from maternity/paternity, taking care of ageing parents, attending to a family member who is sick, etc," Roychowdhury said. 
 
It was five years ago that P&amp;G had introduced a maternity leave of six months, setting an example for other companies to follow. With this move, it surely has become an example for its peers.

The cut-off date for the purpose of eligibility to appear in the NEET-PG 2024 shall continue to be August 15, 2024," the Board said. New dates announced for NEET-PG 2024, exam to be held on August 11

National Testing Agency(NTA) is expected to release the entrance results for admission to UG, PG and PhD courses in agricultural universities today i.e 17 July 2019. Students can view the result of ICAR AIEEA 2019 (All India Entrance Examination for Admissions) on the official website ntaicar.nic.in. The examination was held on 1 July across 796 Centres and the answer key was released on 9 July 2019. The undergraduate, post-graduate and all India entrance examinations are available on the agency’s official website. New Delhi [India], June 23 (ANI): The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare postponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate (<keyword id="6361994" type="General" weightage="100" keywordseo="NEET" source="Orion">NEET</keyword> PG) Examination on Saturday, which was scheduled to be held on Sunday, and said that a fresh date will be announced at the earliest. The NEET-PG exams were scheduled to be held on June 23. "Taking into consideration, the recent incidents of allegations regarding the integrity of certain competitive examinations, the Ministry of Health has decided to undertake a thorough assessment of the robustness of the processes of the NEET-PG Entrance Examination, conducted by the National Board of Examination for medical students," the ministry statement read. "It has accordingly been decided, as a precautionary measure, to postpone the NEET-PG Entrance Examination, scheduled to be held on 23rd June, 2024. The fresh date of this examination will be notified at the earliest," the ministry added. "The Ministry of Health sincerely regrets the inconvenience caused to the students. This decision has been taken in the best interests of the students and to maintain the sanctity of the examination process," the health ministry said. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) was fully prepared to conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Post-Graduate (PG) 2024. Speaking exclusively to ANI, Dr Rakesh Sharma, OSD to President and Member, Governing Body, NBEMS said, "All eyes of the nation are on NBEMS for the conduct of NEET PG 2024 and we will not let down the hope of the nation.
