Within minutes after listing, the shares of Nureca gained 5% of their value and were trading at ₹666 apiece at 10:05 am in a robust market. The company's market value expanded to ₹665 crore after the listing. The company, incorporated in 2016, engages in the business of home healthcare and wellness products. It sells blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, thermometers, nebulisers, and self-monitoring glucose devices under the brand name Dr Trust. Nureca's asset-light business model was successful in attracting investment experts. The model allows Nureca to enter into agreements with vendors who manufacture the products as per the specifications. This allows the company to quickly scale its operations at a predetermined cost without incurring any capital expenditure on manufacturing facilities. The initial public offer of Nureca, which closed last month, was subscribed 40 times. The offer of the Nureca, which got fully subscribed on the first day itself on February 16, received bids for 5.5 crore shares against 14 lakh shares on offer. The category reserved for retail investors received the strongest response and was subscribed 166.65 times. The non-institutional investors' category was subscribed 31.59 times, and qualified institutional buyers(QIBs) was subscribed 3.10 times. Grey market premium fizzled out ahead of the listing Although the high number of subscriptions showed an excellent demand for its shares, just days ahead of the listing, the company's grey market premium fizzled nearly 50%, amid the high market volatility this week. The shares that were earlier commanding a premium of ₹150-160 were significantly down to ₹70-80 a share. The Home Healthcare market in India and neighbouring countries was pegged at ₹20800 crore in 2019, and it is expected to grow to ₹38,900 crore by 2025 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11%. “IPO is valued at 5.6x annualized earnings report in 1HFY21, which looks to be attractively valued given the high asset turnover and return ratio of the company,” the report added. There are no listed peers, and therefore the benchmark valuation is difficult to ascertain. Asset light business model helps penetrating new geographies and keeps it capital efficient According to the Axis Securities report, the asset-light business model does not require Nureca to invest heavily in physical assets such as plant and machinery, land and property, which allows them to be capital efficient. The business model is scalable, such that they can expand their geographical reach and distribution capacity and add new products efficiently and at a relatively low cost without disrupting their existing business. Millions of retail investors wanted a part of the boom in Asia’s best performing stock market, and a lot of IPOs benefited from the frenzy. That kind of unbridled enthusiasm is unlikely in 2022, according to Ajay Saraf, head of investment banking and institutional equities at ICICI Securities in an interview to Business Insider. Saraf is not alone. But that’s not entirely a bad thing. If the cautious mood makes good companies, who need to raise money, tone down the pricing it may leave more profit on the table for small investors. and great as 2021,” said Saraf. If the market mood is uncertain, then the companies planning IPOs are likely to be less confident in seeking high valuations. Startups like <keyword id="143842" type="General" weightage="20" keywordseo="mobikwik" source="Orion">Mobikwik</keyword> are already waiting patiently before they launch the IPO to get the best price. Founder Upasana Taku told Business Insider that she is <a href="https://www.businessinsider.in/business/startups/news/mobikwik-founder-says-they-are-not-selling-any-shares-in-the-ipo/articleshow/88392998.cms">waiting for the market conditions to improve</a> even though she has the SEBI approval to launch the IPO. Legendary investor Warren Buffet has said in the past that he has never invested in an IPO. “The idea of saying the best place in the world where I can put money is something where all the selling, and their commissions are higher, the animal spirits are rising, that’s going to be better than a thousand other things I can where there is no similar selling enthusiasm, and the desire to get the deal done and earn some commissions. That’s the best thing to buy in a single day?,” Buffett <a href="https://www.cnbc.com/video/2019/05/06/warren-buffett-on-why-hes-never-bought-an-ipo.html">asked in an interview</a> in May 2019. In 2022, the animal spirits will be lower i.e. the emotional trigger for investments will be contained and therefore the valuations may be cheaper. “Valuation will become a bit more in favour of investors and that is the trend which we will see (next year),” said Saraf. If the IPOs are priced cheaper, it is likely that the headroom for profit is higher for investors, particularly for those who invest for the longer term. While this is general wisdom, it may so happen that the excitement may be lesser for some companies and higher for others. “Consumer tech and BFSI will lead the overall IPOs in terms of sector concentration in 2022,” said Saraf. New Delhi, <keyword id="2829846" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Muthoot-Homefin">Muthoot Homefin</keyword> aims to disburse <keyword id="35519" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="home-loans">home loans</keyword> worth ₹700 crore in the upcoming financial year (FY2021-22). In a statement, the company said that over the past five years since its inception, <keyword id="6631254" type="DOMAIN" weightage="20" keywordseo="Muthoot">Muthoot</keyword> Homefin has disbursed over ₹2,600 crore home loans. Currently, it has assets under management (AUM) of ₹1,800 crore with <keyword id="6363823" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="operations">operations</keyword> in 16 states and Union territories of India serving more than 22,000 customers. "For the coming year, in addition to further penetration into the existing geographies, Muthoot Homefin also plans to expand its operations in the southern states of India and aims to disburse up to ₹700 crore of home loans in FY 2021-22," it said. It also added that the company's credit rating has been upgraded to "AA+ (stable)" from "AA (positive)" by Crisil during the week ended Friday and the upgrade will allow the company to raise funds at competitive interest rates, thereby passing on the benefits to its end customers, it added. George Alexander Muthoot, Managing Director said: "Muthoot Homefin is aiming to disburse Rs 700 crore of home loans in FY 2021-22. We are steadfastly progressing on taking the 'Housing for All' initiative of the government to the farthest tier II and III locations in the country in order to support the affordable housing needs and aspirations of every Indian." As of now, the company will be focusing on expanding its housing finance operations in the southern states of the country. "With the additional focus towards collections in FY2020-21, the company has been able to contain delinquencies on the portfolio during the pandemic and have now stabilised its collections," the MD said. Muthoot Homefin aims to disburse ₹700 crore home loans in FY22

<keyword id="6358777" type="LOCATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="New-Delhi">New Delhi</keyword>, <keyword id="59287" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Cairn-India">Cairn India</keyword> has discussed a number of proposals with the aim of finding a <keyword id="10801369" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="swift-resolution">swift resolution</keyword> that could be mutually acceptable to the <keyword id="6377129" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="government-of-india">Government of India</keyword> and the <keyword id="508311" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="interests">interests</keyword> of Cairn's shareholders. An <keyword id="1008266" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="international-arbitration">international arbitration</keyword> seated in The Hague and constituted under the terms of the UK India Bilateral Investment Treaty has ruled conclusively on the matter and issued a final and binding award in Cairn's favour ordering the refund of the value of the assets taken, being $1.2 billion, plus significant interest and costs. That arbitration also ruled decisively that this matter falls within the jurisdiction of the UK-India Treaty, having heard arguments from the parties on that subject. Cairn has enjoyed a long and successful history operating in India, investing billions of dollars, bringing employment and benefitting local communities. "The business we created in India has generated more than $20 billion in revenues for the government. The freezing of our assets in 2014 to enforce a retrospective tax measure has been extremely negative for all parties, and we are very keen to be able to put this legacy matter behind us and move forward positively", it said. "We have had cordial and constructive discussions in Delhi over the last few days with officials from the <keyword id="156153" type="COMPANY" weightage="20" keywordseo="Ministry-of-Finance">Ministry of Finance</keyword>. Notwithstanding and without prejudice to our rights under the international arbitration award, we have discussed a number of proposals with the aim of finding a swift resolution that could be mutually acceptable to the Government of India and the interests of Cairn's shareholders," it added. "Assuming such a resolution can be achieved, we look forward to being able to move on to further opportunities to invest in India which continues to import the majority of the energy sources it consumes. We remain hopeful that an acceptable solution can be found, in order to avoid further prolonging and exacerbating this negative issue for all parties. However, we have also been clear that we must continue to take all necessary steps to protect the interests of our shareholders," Cairn India said.
