<keyword id="536283" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Rahul-Yadav">Rahul Yadav</keyword>, ex CEO of <keyword id="1960231" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Housing-com">Housing.com</keyword> and the bad boy of Indian start-up space, has found a ray of hope for his new start-up <keyword id="3168655" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="100" keywordseo="Intelligent-Interfaces">Intelligent Interfaces</keyword>. This hope has come in the form of <keyword id="1133262" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="100" keywordseo="Youwecan">YouWeCan</keyword> ventures, a <keyword id="351" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Yuvraj-Singh">Yuvraj Singh</keyword> initiative. The start-up aims to improve efficiency in governance. 
 "Proud to back Rahul Yadav and Intelligent Interfaces (ii) in helping the Government govern 100x better with the help of technology. Get ready for the (r)evolution!," Yuvraj Singh posted on his Facebook account, along with an image showing himself with Yadav and <keyword id="3190239" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Azeem-Zainulbhai">Azeem Zainulbhai</keyword>, Yadav’s co-founder. 
 
The details of the investments have not been disclosed by Yadav or Singh. 
 
The last we knew, Flipkart co-founders Sachin and Binny Bansal had made an undisclosed investment in Singh’s new venture. 
 Regarding YouWeCan, the venture was launched in April this year as a $10-million seedstage venture capital fund. He co-founded it with <keyword id="2926011" type="PERSON" weightage="100" keywordseo="Nishant-Singhal">Nishant Singhal</keyword>, with an aim to back internet start-ups in the country.

While the details of the deal remain undisclosed, Vedantu had also invested $2 million in Instasolv in July 2020. “Last year we took a strategic decision to invest in Instasolv to strengthen our play in doubt-solving, which is one of the key aspects of learning online. We have seen tremendous potential in Instasolv and share the same mission to democratize education in the country. Through this partnership we endeavor to change India’s learning curve through definitive outcomes,” said Vamsi Krishna, chief executive officer and co-founder of Vedantu, in a statement. The latest acquisition will bring on board Instasolv’s 1 million learners to Vedantu’s platform which is already 25 million strong. Instasolv was founded in 2019 by IIT graduates Aditya Singhal, Nishant Sinha, and Bahul Arora. Vedantu Innovation Pvt. Ltd was founded in 2011 by IIT alumni Vamsi Krishna, Anand Prakash, and Pulkit Jain. In April 2020, the company had raised funding in two tranches – $12.6 million and $7 million for a Series C round. Its last <a href="https://entrackr.com/2020/04/exclusive-vedantu-valuation-280-mn-after-7-mn-in-fresh-funding/">reported</a> valuation is $280 million. Vedantu acquires Instasolv, a doubt-solving app – the latest in buzzing edtech acquisitions in India

Starting an entrepreneurial venture of their own is nothing new for Indian cricketers . The ‘God of cricket’ <keyword id="6354267" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Sachin-Tendulkar">Sachin Tendulkar</keyword>, Dada aka Saurav Ganguly, Virendra Sehwag and <keyword id="368" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Harbhajan-Singh">Harbhajan Singh</keyword>, all of these cricketing stars have done it. And now, youth icon <keyword id="351" type="PERSON" weightage="20" keywordseo="Yuvraj-Singh">Yuvraj Singh</keyword> has also joined the league. 
 An Economic Times report stated that Yuvi, who’s considered to Delhi Daredevil’s USP in the upcoming <keyword id="6354831" type="ORGANIZATION" weightage="20" keywordseo="Indian-Premier-League">Indian Premier League</keyword> (IPL), is starting a new innings as a businessman. The 33-year-old cricketer is floating a venture fund, <keyword id="2798258" type="UNKNOWN" weightage="20" keywordseo="YouWeCan-Venture">YouWeCan Venture</keyword>, which aims to support young entrepreneurs by investing in startups across sectors. 
 
Over a period of three to five years, Yuvi will put about Rs 50 crore in this new venture fund, which is expected to secure around Rs 300 crore from other investors during the same period. 
 
While talking to the financial daily at his Gurgaon residence, Yuvraj said, "I had been thinking about this for four-five years. There are a lot of young entrepreneurs with great high-potential ideas and I plan to invest in these startups, to build their brands and companies." 
 
He further told ET, "Many of my friends and associates will co-invest in building large-scale brands and firms," but didn’t disclose any information about whom he was referring to. 
 
Nishant Singhal, a co-promoter of the fund, informed the business daily that the plan also includes setting up of a chain of restaurants under the brand YouWeX. However, the format of the restaurant hasn’t been finalised yet.
